Lets go over the 5 Don't Do's during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. These are just my opinion and I'm sure there are plenty more Don't Do's you could add onto the list. If you can think of additional Don't Do's that other motorcycle folks should know about, please leave a comment down below. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally can be a trip of a lifetime, but sometimes, things can get in the way, and or, ruin your trip. Are you planning on attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally this year? Let me know down in the comments. Thanks for watching.

This channel covers a lot of motorcycle vlog type of content. We talk about all things motorcycles, product review, video editing, and cinematic type of sequences. I ride a 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special and we travel to as many motorcycle rallies and other events throughout the year.
What's going on everybody? It is the Full Throttle Hog. We are just six short months away from Sturgis
2022 and I thought today we're going to go over five don'ts you should know about before you
attend Sturgis. Let's get started. So there's no doubt that Sturgis can be the time of your life
but there is a few small things that can happen that will ruin that trip and I want to try to
help you out and if you agree with this list the only thing I ask is that you leave a like down
below. It'll help spread this to other riders and people attending Sturgis so we can help each other
out. Also there might be a don't that you have in mind that you want to share with others. Go ahead
and leave it down in the comment section down below and let me know which one of the five or
I should say six you enjoyed. Let's start off with don't number one. So first on this list is going to
be don't park your bike after 2 a.m or in other no motorcycle parking zones. This includes being
down on Main Street or LaZelle. You'd be surprised actually if you haven't seen it it's actually
pretty magnificent to watch these tow trucks come and take bikes. They can have your bike up and
gone in about 60 seconds. They do it quickly. They're very good at it and they will have your
bike up and out of there before you get to the end of the block or enter into that bar or restaurant.
So don't park in no parking zones. Let's move on to number two. Don't pet the wildlife. I mean we've
all seen it by now the video and or footage or the memes or I'm sure at this point it's an NFT
of the woman being attacked by the bison. They are wildlife. That is something that you cannot
control. It should be a no-brainer and I'm surprised I have to add this to the list but
number two is going to be don't pet the wildlife. Number three is also simplistic but it can help
you out. Don't be in a hurry. Sturgis is a town of a population of a little over 6 000 people
for those 10 days maybe even 14 days they're hosting a half a million people if not more.
You just got to have some patience while you're in town, while you're waiting for a restaurant,
while you're at the bar, and more importantly while you're on a ride. Everybody has a different
level of expertise but Sturgis is not the place you want to go hot-dogging. I hope you guys have
all seen Queen Sits video. If not I'll link it down in the description below but basically she
was almost taken out by a bike right in front of her during Sturgis 2021. It just goes to show you
just slow it down, don't be in a hurry, enjoy the scenery, enjoy the people, and just pack some
patience. Moving on to number four. Number four is a surprising one but I think it's important to
add to this list and that is don't be an a**hole. Don't be a jerk. When you're in Sturgis you're
going to meet so many cool people and meet so many new friends and friends that you will
stay friends with and meet them year after year and you'd be surprised how much that might be
ruined by people acting like a jerk. That means this is pretty simplistic but if you bump into
somebody at a bar here's a concept. How about just saying excuse me or I'm sorry and not just turn out
to be the jerk. It kind of resorts back to number three where it's don't be in a hurry, don't go
hot-dogging around, and if that's your personality and you just want to be a jerk just try not to be
during Sturgis. It might help you out, you might actually meet a new friend. It's definitely not
a place that you want to throw blows with people and it's just going to ruin that experience so
how about just be polite. If you bump into somebody, excuse me works or my bad. Just simple
things like that will help your Sturgis experience. It is crowded, people bump into each other,
and the only problems I've ever seen could have been completely avoided if both parties would
have been like hey my bad, didn't mean to do that. I think we've made our point, moving on.
Number five on this list is going to be don't challenge the weather. If you guys watched our
series in 2020 you know that there was a bad storm coming in while we were in Keystone and still had
about an hour and a half ride to get back to Sturgis. With that we had two choices, wait out
the storm or suit up in rain gear and power through. I will tell you the powering through
move was the wrong idea. Storms out there are quick, they come in, they blow through, and they're
done. Getting caught in that was not fun. It was hailing on us and there was lightning. It was
terrible. I mean it was an experience, it was an adventure, don't get me wrong, but I would say
don't challenge the weather. Weather's going to come through, just be somewhere safe, let it pass
through, and continue on your way. And now for a number six don't which will be a little bit of a
bonus. It's a selfish plug, I get it, but don't go to Sturgis without checking out our short film.
Sturgis doesn't care. It's going to help get you fired up, it still gets me fired up. Hopefully
you guys enjoy it. I will link it up here, I will link it in the description down below, and you
guys need to check that out. Don't go to Sturgis unless you've seen that. Don't forget to leave a
comment on that video. But that's going to do it for my list of five don'ts for Sturgis, well
technically six, but if you enjoyed this go ahead and like the video down below, leave me a comment,
let me know which one was your favorite or one that you wanted to add on. And if you got anything
out of this production, go ahead and hit that subscribe button if you haven't already. Folks,
you guys ride safe, be safe, and we'll catch you on the next one.
