Febvre leading the pack at the gate drop of MXGP Race 2 #MXGPTurkiye

Koonen tried to go one or two times there and it may have cost him because Vevra comes in, so too does Gifting. Gifting cornering like he's on rails, but it's Vevra who comes over the line with the foxhole shot and leads into the first turn. Koonen alongside him in second. Hurlings and Gifting and Koonen, three abreast as they hit that first single. And it's Hurlings who emerges somehow in that second place. Gifting's fuse has been lit. There's Geisser as well in that fourth place. Koonen getting duffed up, duffed up good and proper and shuffled back into what, fifth, sixth place? There's your first four, five, six riders. Koonen in sixth, Renault just behind him in seventh. Frantic opening few corners here. Right, Vevra chooses not to show that transfer, but he exits the transfer. Closes down the door on Hurlings. Geisser up to third, Gifting down to fourth. Trying to sneak up the inside of the Frenchman there, the number 84. He won his 110th Grand Prix victory at home in the Netherlands two weekends ago.
