Welcome back to our home. Y'all, this home update is... It's kind of crazy. And I've been reading the comments and people have been talking about how my humor is a little dry. They feel like they're just hitting a wall whenever I talk about the home. Okay. Anyone picking up on what today's video is about? We officially have drywall! Put a hole in it. Oh my gosh. Okay, we're in our, what will be our garage right now. The garage for you people that are not from the United States. And I feel like the drywall has completely changed the house. Like, it feels so much more like a home now. And they're only in step one of it. But I feel like it's like separated all the rooms to where you can't just like stay in the living room and see our closets and see our bedroom and see the guest room and see everything. Like, it actually feels more like a home, which is pretty cool. This is probably one of our bigger update videos, which I'm really excited about. We're going to show you the drywall. We're also going to show you the speakers that are going in before they become invisible. And we also potentially may be sharing the biggest update of all. We hinted at it in our last video. You didn't figure one out? It's a big change, y'all. It's a big change. It's a big update. We decided to just like jump into it. You know what I mean? It's but you will be refreshed by the change. I knew you were going to use that word. All right. Let's let's get into this. Now we're in the master bedroom. The master's bedroom. It actually looks so much more like a bedroom. Where's the window? Here you go. Wow. You guys can actually see the cathedral ceilings right now. Wow. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Stay there. Oh, ouch. You ready? Over here, you can see it's like a straight cathedral. But because this is arched, this gives even more dimension to it. Yeah. Really fun. Yeah. So you may be thinking this is contemporary modern art. It may be. It's God's art because it's a solar tube. Look at that lens flare. And the natural light is so beautiful. Yeah, it honestly is crazy how the light comes in like that. Yeah. Another one. Another one in the bathroom. All the lighting. We love natural light. Is it time to show the speakers? They don't know what that room is yet. Speaker time. I think that's a 32 by 16. I messed you up. So 16, 15 and a quarter. Look at all this extra drywall. I wonder if we can sell it on Craigslist. So is this something that you guys have to do often in terms of like you just got to kind of make it work? Ladies and gentlemen, that is what you call precision. Don't mess up now. Nice. Oh, that's so close. You kidding me? Look at that. If that's not precision, I don't know what is. Wow. Wow. My arm looks super long with wide angle. So this is probably my favorite part about the entire house. Actually, not my favorite part. Maybe like top 10. And so I'm here with Jonathan from AWorks. And these guys do all the audio and visual. Man, look how hard he's working right now. I was encouraged to get invisible speakers because Tori and I wanted to do like just a very minimal open area. And then, of course, if you just see a bunch of like black speakers or something like that, it's not very modern. I mean, that looks modern. We're not going for modern. We're just going for clean. Look at this. This right here is a speaker. Can you believe that? Can you explain to me how this works? All right. So pretty much the speakers right here. There will be a left and right. They're used for the front. So we're not having a center. Pretty much all you do is you put your drywall up. It lines up with the drywall. And they're going to mud over it as if they were as if this was a piece of drywall. And after they mud over, they're going to smooth it out and do a light layer of texture. And the speaker sound just goes right through. That's crazy. And you can't see it. And so so where is the wire go to? Like how does it wire back over here? Which actually I've brought it up. Oh, wow. So it comes from the back, goes up all the way to the home run location. This is another top 10 for me right here is you guys don't know what this room is, but I love cable management, which we're going to have a AV rack here with the camera system, all the speaker systems. And right here, we're going to have a little panel for security. And then and then all this is for like TV and stuff like that or what? Yeah. So this is going to be your cat six and coax cable and speaker wire. We have three different applications. Mario's points. Nice. There should be a different WAP. Sorry. There's going to be one right here. Cool. And then there's going to be another one on the other side of the house and then one upstairs. Nice. And that's pretty much just going to broadcast the signal for the Internet. So we have three bars around the entire house. The other part that people don't know about is we also did an invisible base, which is right here. So this is the vent for the subwoofer. The subwoofer is going to go into the AV, into the same room as the AV rack. And there's a tube that way it's ported and you hear the sound in this room that we have more of a movie theater feel. And the sub is going to shake the room on the ground level. Yeah, that's sweet. And it'll just be painted white, the same color as the baseboard. And so it'll look like it's not even there. The same thing with these speakers. Dang. I'm Jack. Hey, Jack. Sweet. Awesome. We appreciate it. That was more of just a punch. My bad, babies. I'm jacked up right now. Hey, guys, so it's super loud in here, but they're doing the drywall texture today because I think they're painting or at least priming this week, which is really exciting. I feel like once they do that, it'll stop kind of looking like this crazy construction zone. Yeah. And more like, oh, wow, because the primer is pretty much the color of our house, aka white. This is the textured ceiling. It's pretty sweet. We obviously wanted like a smooth finish everywhere. It's a bit more money. And so this will do. OK, also, we got home and we got some fun little packages from Amazon. Vivis, why don't you sit down? You rang? OK, y'all, so we love to say this, but we love a good bougie bargain. And so we'd love to say that, baby, you came up with bougie bargain balling on a budget, balling on a budget. And so we got a lot of things from Amazon that we could have ordered from like the really nice real retailers. Figured we'd do a little unboxing with you guys. OK. This is our little toilet holder. Toilet paper holder. It doesn't hold the paper and it gets cute. I'm a fan. All right. There's one I'm really excited for you to show, but do that one last. So now you have to watch the rest of this unboxing. I think it's this one. OK. Yeah. So then next is these little hooks. We really like towel hooks versus racks. I guess you can say we're hooked on them. Because you don't have to like fold it all nicely. You can just like hook it. And they came in a pack of four for like $15, which I thought was such a great deal. Oh, my gosh. I think they work. Babe, you just nail it to the wall. Oh, cool. Look, you use a little Allen wrench and you bring that down. You screw this into the wall, this piece, because that piece comes out. And then you put this on and you tighten it. The more you know. Sounds easy. So we literally bought a couple packs of four because we're going to use these in our guest bathroom and our master. Lots of little gold hooks. But we can hang like robes, towels, all the works. Next, these are for our upstairs bathroom because our upstairs bathroom has black finishes. And so these, they look pretty sharp. Yeah, I like that. It's so clean. And now the one that Chad is excited about. Well, it's actually you're the one who's excited about it. But I just think it's really funny. Let's just create a whole segment in our vlogs called TMI time. TMI time. TMIT. So this is for our master bathroom, and our toilet area has its own little like room. This is the toilet paper holder. Oh, my word. And there's a little shelf on top. You can put your phone. Where's your phone at? People are going to be coming at me in the comments because I don't have a case on my phone. He did, he went backwards. Good morning, fam. It is 7 a.m. Chad's got his coffee. I got the Celsius. And we are about to meet with the trim carpenter again. Just for like little final things before he like is about to start getting to work, which is really exciting. So the trim carpenter does all like the woodworking in the house. And we're doing a few cool things. Yeah, so fun fact about us, what comes standard is like all this beautiful crown molding, but we're not getting any crown molding. And so we're doing things just a little different. And so I think it'll be fun to show you guys what we end up with. Today's the last update of this house video. And then we're actually going to leave on a little cliffhanger of the next house update, which is our biggest one. This is our biggest one, but the next one is even our biggest one. Our bigger-ish one. I feel like every house update is the biggest one because everything that happens feels bigger because it's getting closer to the final thing. But yeah, so we have three meetings. It has a little phone thing but it's just gold. It looks like it has a little thing on top and the holder that your phone fits right on. How funny is that? Okay Kimberly, I have an idea. On the railing we're going to do right here, I want to do a curved railing. That way it's just not flat up and then flat this way. What do you think? The problem with that is this is not curved. Oh. It's kind of interesting. What if I break out my sandpaper and I just sand that down? That's a home update if I've ever seen one. That's a big update you guys. We hope you enjoyed it.
