Lost bikers in snow storm but I have no idea this was going to happen. While riding my Harley-Davidson to Arizona bike week, I ran into a massive storm in southern California of all places. While riding, I saw a group of motorcycles stranded on the side of the road covered in snow. The conditions were so bad, they ditched their Harley-Davidson's on the side of the road. I have no idea what happened to these bikers. Where did they go? If you watch the video, you will see that they had no place to really walk to. Have you ran into lost bikers while out on the road? This snow storm was rare and It definitely got my heart rate going.

This channel covers a lot of motorcycle vlog type of content. We talk about all things motorcycles, product review, video editing, and cinematic type of sequences. I ride a 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special and we travel to as many motorcycle rallies and other events throughout the year.
We have other bikers here. I don't know what's going on. That's a lot of bikes.
They must have left them here last night. Holy smokes. Okay, good morning. What we're going
to be doing is showing you our route today. We are on a mission. We're heading out to
Arizona Bike Week and leaving San Diego. All right, so here's where we are, San Diego,
the west coast, and we are going to make it out to Scottsdale, Arizona, right there. It is a pretty
straight shot all the way across and not the sexiest of riding, but we had a problem with
the weather. Well, good morning. Good morning. How are we doing today? I am getting ready for
Arizona Bike Week and we're hitting the road right now. Obviously, I showed you the location
we're going to. We are, however, going to battle some weather, but look at that sunrise. I hope that
shows up. Absolutely beautiful, but there is a storm that we are heading to. We're all rain-geared
out, ready to go. We're going to be doing this trip on the 2020 Road Glide Special and, yeah, I'm
excited to hit the road, bring you guys with me. We got lots to talk about. First things first,
we get to do one of my favorite things, which is a final gas stop in California, because
our gas prices are ridiculous. So, this will be the last time I fill up in California.
Just top off the tank and then we will start heading towards Arizona. So, it wouldn't be
a full-throttle hog riding adventure without a little bad weather,
and it just stopped dumping, but the problem is we are going to be heading right towards the storm.
So, that'll put us in a predicament as far as weather for a little bit. I'm hoping that we
can just kind of skate by it, maybe find an open area, but knowing my luck, that's not going to
happen. So, right now the prediction is going to be for rain pretty much right when we get on the
highway. Temperatures are going to drop to about 32 degrees and then we will have high winds going
through the beginning parts of Arizona. We're going to go into the desert first, where there's
a slight chance that it's going to rain there too. Out here in Southern California, when it
rains in the desert, you always have to be aware of those flash floods. I'm actually just grateful that
the sun is out right now with as bad as it was about an hour ago. I'll take this.
One of the things I'm going to be doing too, I don't know if you guys can let me know what you
guys feel about this type of camera angle. I widened it up. I went to Superview. I wanted
you guys to feel a little bit more a part of the bike, part of the adventure, if you're watching,
and, you know, just make you feel more like you're here. So, you can let me know. I changed it up to
Superview. I have got so many layers of clothing on. I mean, let's be real, you guys know Southern
California, right? I don't know cold weather like some of y'all, but 32 degrees is, no pun intended,
is freezing. The bike is running good. We got her serviced right before this trip for her 40,000 mile
checkup. Tires are in good shape. Went through our inspections. Good to go. Have a lot of great things
planned for Arizona. Yeah, I would even take this. If it stayed like this the rest of the the riding
time, this is perfect. I always wonder if people look over at me and like, hey, look at this idiot.
Yes, the final California gas stop for four days. Not three and a half. All right, let me top off
and then we'll get back on the road and I will explain to you a little bit more about what we're
gonna do. I'm not using heated gloves today. They're just heavily insulated. Sometimes those
heated gloves are more of a hassle than what they're worth as I struggle to get this on,
but I'm not gonna lie. I have more clothing, more clothing layers anyway, on right now than I've had
in a very long time. Just make sure. One last check. We have our Rick Rack travel system.
There's a link to this bag down in the description down below. Really heavy rain cover, which we are
definitely going to test out. Everything looks good. Let's get on the road. Okay, so the saddle
time today is actually not that bad. It's only going to be a five and a half hour ride as far
as saddle time is concerned. It's like 335 miles to get from San Diego over to Scottsdale where
Arizona Bike Week is at. So it's not bad and would be, I guess, a lot more enjoyable if we didn't
have to deal with this mush of weather. Definitely kind of interferes with the possibility of a drone
flight, that's for sure. And you guys know how much I love my drone footage. Hey, look at that.
High winds ahead. So every single time that I travel and I find out what people are kind of
into when it comes to, you know, maybe an alcoholic beverage or a coffee, I try to go out of my way
to find something that they might enjoy. This particular trip, my mission was to find a bottle
of Blantons. Blantons has to be right now the most difficult bourbon to find in the states.
And to the point where on my trip to Stubborn American last year, I stopped at almost every
big box store, BevMo, and whatever different stores throughout the multiple states trying to
locate a bottle of Blantons to gift to Adam. It is the bourbon that is drank by John Wick in the
movies and that just blew up the sales here in the states and it's almost impossible to get.
However, while I'm fighting through this rain, let me take you back real quick to yesterday
and this small segment and you can see what happened. Alright, so I'm leaving in the morning.
However, I do not want to show up empty-handed. I want to show my appreciation for
Adam's hospitality. So I am on the hunt for probably the most difficult bottle of bourbon
currently in the United States and that is Blantons because it's John Wick's bourbon.
But let's see what we can do. Which one? Blantons.
Right there, that one? I don't know exactly what that is. This one? Yeah.
So now that I have that bottle with me, I'm pretty excited. Hopefully he enjoys it. It is starting
to get a little gloomy up here. Let's do a temperature check. Right now we are looking at...
it's only 41 degrees but we are still climbing. We still have several thousand feet to climb up
to go over the pass and this pass basically takes you from San Diego into Imperial County,
which is also the desert where like the famous Glamis sand dunes are and Superstition Mountains
and things like that as you're heading out I-8 out of San Diego. And normally this is,
you know, the better scenic view. It looks like we might be going into a little bit of fog here.
Something I did not anticipate. That's gonna suck. I've traveled this road quite a bit
through the years so I am familiar with areas where I could pull over and stop if needed
for safety purposes. And I can battle a lot of things, folks. If you guys have watched videos,
I've gone through torrentious winds, rain, tornadoes, but something about the fog,
that's just straight dangerous. People just can't see you at all. Oh boy. Well, this kind of sucks.
So we got fog on my glasses or my visor. Something's fogging up. Okay, it's 36 degrees.
I can't tell if this is sleet, if this is hail. Right now it's just not. Oh yeah, that's sleet.
That is sleet, folks. That is definitely gonna be an issue. Let's take advantage of the
slow lane. This is straight snow up here. Well, this is fun. To think that it's March
and that we're heading to, you know, it's dang near almost April,
and we're heading to Arizona Bike Week. The fact that we are dealing with,
I mean, it's straight snowing. I'm in snow. Not a fan. Not a fan at all. This is not what was in
the weather report, and now I gotta deal with it. Oh come on. This is ridiculous.
Not exactly what I had in mind. I'm gonna put our hazards on. This sucks. Just so you guys know,
we have other bikers here. I don't know what's going on. That's a lot of bikes.
They must have left them here last night. Holy smokes. So the problem that I have here
is that any place that I were to try to pull over at all, getting on and off the roadway,
I have a feeling is going to be extremely slick. So that's the reason that I'm just
kind of powering through here. I have a feeling that just getting past
these certain points, it's going to be better for me if I just stay. I'm hoping. I don't know.
I don't know what the right move is here, folks. I really don't. Like I know they've shut down this
overpass before. As far as I know, my lens is probably frozen over. See brake lights.
No idea what's going on here. Lots of brake lights.
