in that fire baby so after that crazy snack-filled afternoon we had to go back and take a little nap i don't know if it was crazy it was just right for me we're back on the streets it's 5 p.m so there should be different vendors out which is exciting during the day it tends to be lighter fair a lot of snacks uh drinks and sweets at night you still get some sweets but you get better sweets like tonight you're gonna be seeing the marquesettas which are one of my favorite desserts they're so good come along with us for some more street treats i hope you're ready because i'm excited [Music] time for some street food should be this one a little charred more so this is corn on a stick who knew genius it's called elotes and it's got fresh corn with mayonnaise cheese and some spices that corn is so good this is street corn duh of course it's good it falls right off like wow the sweet corn and the mayonnaise and the cheese are kind of like bitter and they really complement it so well this is a winner right here are you feeling corny i am feeling corny and in case you didn't notice we had to make a change we came back up for dinner new mask new shirt but we want you to know you don't ever have to change we like you just the way you are rico's tacos consummate erase [Music] i am so excited these look delicious we finally found some tacos oh yeah a little lime on those let's see how they taste there's that 45 degree head tilt perfect form that lime is so good it just really sets the whole thing off it's crunchy from the onions and the beef is so tender good stuff i love my taco i love my tacos so good good there's some taco stands where they chop up like everything like the ears the feet the cartilage but this one i think it's purely beef we just got both of those for 20 pesos so one dollar so 50 cents a taco amazing amazing and they were so good let's see what the hype is all about this was 80 pesos or four dollars so we got some steak avocado tomato oh yeah tosino rip into that baby i feel like back home in the states we are obsessed with sandwiches they have tortas which are like our sandwiches it tastes like a giant blt with steak on it yeah baby [Music] we are back in the zocalo the main area of oaxaca city and we're excited to see if there's different vendors what are you excited for uh i really want to have one of these street burgers maybe a dog i really want a toyota i forgot about those we don't know come along we'll get you some delicious food to try we'll fill up your cup this is basically all burger stands hamburger heaven baby mr burger what do you got [Music] look at that a dog burger we'll call that a combination i just want to point out everybody's covered safety they got their saran wrap out keeping themselves safe and everyone else i know what you're thinking why would you be having a hamburger in mexico but the truth is they are everywhere mexicans love hamburgers cheeseburgers hot dogs at least half of the food stands we see are hamburgers and they're delicious they're so good and every time it's a different burger this has bologna a hot dog on it it has two kinds of cheese mustard mayo la chuga this burger was 35 pesos a bit under two dollars that's a good burger for real burger dog get that get that burger dog oh oh she got the cheese so a question back home we call it a hamburger and we don't put ham on it so what's it called a hamburger here they put two types of ham on it like yo mexicans know what's up does that make it a double hamburger anything i'll say is missing from this burger are the spicy pickled vegetables that we get on some of them they are so good and just knock it up one point higher street hamburger done [Music] talk about street food this guy is literally walking down the street with his food veracruz cream cheese blueberries blueberry wow looks so freaking good [Music] [Applause] wow good so this is the best dessert i've had possibly in oaxaca and it's right off the street in a little street car you need to try some adam and we got the last one this woman ran up right behind us and was like this is let's try this out wow that is so like the blueberry the philadelphia cream cheese yeah and you can see like look at this like look at how flaky that is it's so good you know what time it is it's louder time so we always have this rule the place with the most people outside of it is the one you want to go to so ban that fire baby [Music] yeah just throw right on top of the raw meat no worries do you want to try chorizo yeah see this is the empanada con queso [Music] it's so soft and there's chili this is what they call a oaxacan pizza or playuda this is a super traditional thing here it's a semi-dry tortilla done on a flat top or a grill they put down a base layer of beans then some guacamole some oaxacan cheese and i got chorizo but you can get any kind of meat on top they also smells like tomatoes or avocado looks fantastic as you can see it kind of looks like a pizza i'm going back to taco style though [Music] look at this bad boy it's a bicycle converted to a marquis seacrest fan [Music] the real philadelphia cream cheese he does the pinch and the cherry on top look at that nutella and philadelphia cream cheese on top wow follow the monkey pizza we hope you have all enjoyed our street food tour so far this is our last treat this is called the marquis sita and it's a very popular dessert here in oaxaca and in the yucatan we had this there as well and in the mikitan he loves these so excited i'll give him the best party wow let me help you out oh my god my ancestors are from norway and they make something called krumakakas and it's very similar to this it's like pancake batter and you put it in a waffle iron i think it's also called pizelles your mom and your sister make pizzelles pizza shout out mom and caroline yeah so it's very similar to that it's just divine i didn't think it was possible but i'm actually stuffed you guys this is a first what was your favorite treat today um treat like a sweet i really like that the last thing we got with that blueberry oh my god and the cream cheese i'm like we got the last one that i had that was delicious my favorite food was probably the street tacos they were really good guys i'm gonna have to go on a serious diet after oaxaca i'm not even kidding we're going to puerto west candido and i have to put on a bathing suit and it's scary i'm not scared i can handle it no me and of course again you're the most beautiful thing in the whole world even though i did enjoy making all these videos for you and us i gotta take care of myself myself like there's two of me now because i'm a lot bigger and she already has to take care of me so yeah and now it's a
