Kao MIURA (JPN) | Exhibition Gala | NHK Trophy 2024

So we move on to the men's. He finished 6th in the men's event. Couldn't quite hold it together in the free, but he's sensational. Kao Miura from Japan. I was the master of my fate. I never needed anybody to lay close my eyes, but she's still there. Esteem to my melancholy heart. If more than I could achieve faith from you. She will still inspire me. Be a part of everything I do. Wasting my love for myself. She'll walk right in. And as the long, long nights begin. I'll think of all that might have been. Waiting years for her. He's a real talent, isn't he? And it's got to be said, he's had a pretty rough time here in Tokyo. Came out all guns blazing in the short program, finished in 2nd place. But he had a bit of a mare in the free. Ended up finishing in 6th place. Would you believe he was in 11th on the free skate here? Such a shame. Challenging for a place in the Grand Prix finals after his bronze medal that he won in Allen, Texas in Skate America. Of course, he had such a good season last year, didn't he? He made it into the finals last year. A 2nd place finish in Skate Canada and a win in Espoo. He'll be back though, that's for sure. To be continued...
