Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hollow grounds of speed and thunder,
Meadowdale Raceway. The year is 1958. The golden age of American motor racing is in full swing.
Elvis, Little Richard, and Jerry Lee Lewis are all duking it out for the number one spot on the 1958
billboard. While at the same time, nestled in the heart of Carpentersville, Illinois,
Meadowdale Raceway is swiftly becoming the mecca for racers far and wide. From its high-speed
straights to its hair-raising turn, Meadowdale's 3.27-mile circuit was a marvel and a menace. But
as the 1960s rolled on, safety and financial woes cast a long shadow. And by 1969, the roars of the
engines fell silent, leaving behind a legacy etched in the tarmac and tales of courage. Join
us as we journey back to experience the thrills and dangers of the glorious track and experience
the golden age of racing. Welcome, race fans, to the unofficial GRM SimSports Racing League. This
is the 10th and final race of the Singer 911 series. We have an extremely tight points race
leading into this race. Pro Darwin holds a nine-point lead over Dean 1084, with Rodan only
two points behind Dean and 11 points behind Pro. The race for fourth place includes five drivers,
covered by only 12 points. All Air Cooled is defending fourth place with 99 points, with Race
Brick, Game Boy, Mike Kirby, and Drillin' McMillan all trying to chase him down. As usual, the added
weight to the competitors will make for some very close racing, so this should be a barn burner
coming down to the last lap pass coming out of the high-banked last corner. So sit back and get
ready for two 15-minute sprint races that will crown a new champion at the infamous Meadowdale
Raceway, where legends are born and history is made.
