Hey, I'm Milo, a four-year-old corgi.
Today, I'm excited to share my experience at Hotel Indigo Gaslamp in San Diego and two
amazing restaurants I discovered.
If you're seeking a fantastic place to stay and explore in California, especially if you
adore dog-friendly hotels, American cuisine, and tasty ramen, this video is just for you.
I chose Hotel Indigo Gaslamp because of its prime downtown location with easy access to
everything.
They even greeted me with delightful dog treats at check-in.
Hotel Indigo Gaslamp Quarter offers exceptional hospitality in one of San Diego's liveliest
neighborhoods.
It's eco-friendly, blending modern luxury with sustainable practices.
From the moment we arrived, they treated us and our pets like part of their family.
My room was really something special.
Let me show you around.
Each room features stylish hardwood floors, spa-inspired showers, cozy bedding, and they
even provided a dog cushion.
Our two-night stay totaled $770, slightly higher due to the weekend and a nearby baseball
game.
Parking is $59 per night with a $20 pet fee per night.
Additionally, there's a $20 amenity fee, which includes two complimentary water bottles and
some snacks.
Nearby, you can catch a Padres game at Petco Park, enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Gaslamp
Quarter, or explore museums and galleries all within close reach.
Borrego Rooftop Kitchen is a must-visit spot.
Nestled at Hotel Indigo, it offers breathtaking views of San Diego's skyline and delectable
desert-inspired dishes paired with creative cocktails.
From there, you can even see Petco Park.
I had a blast cheering for the teams.
San Diego's sunset time was truly magical, with perfect weather I couldn't have asked
for more.
Union Kitchen in Taft is just an 8-minute, minute drive away, offering local flavors
in a cozy setting.
Their seasonal dishes and hand-crafted cocktails, such as the Basket of Frites, Roasted Root
Vegetables, and Gumball of Louisiana Stew with a flavorful stock and the Holy Trinity
of Celery, Bell Peppers, and Onions were perfect for a relaxing evening.
For authentic Japanese cuisine, head to Beshik Ramen, only 6 minutes from the hotel.
Loaded Best Ramen in San Diego several times, they serve up traditional dishes with a modern
twist, including Spicy Miso Ramen, Dirty Fries, and Hitsumabushi Roll, a grilled eel dish
from Nagoya, Japan, served on rice.
Which dish are you most eager to try?
That's all for today.
