Hey, I'm Milo, a four-year-old corgi.
Today, I went to Half Moon Bay to check out all the amazing pumpkins.
If you're curious about pumpkins in the U.S., pumpkin patch culture,
and why Half Moon Bay is called the World Pumpkin Capital,
this fun adventure is perfect for you.
Half Moon Bay is not just any coastal town.
It's known as the World Pumpkin Capital.
Every fall, this beautiful place becomes the heart of pumpkin season in the U.S.
thanks to its perfect weather and rich soil,
making it one of the best spots to grow pumpkins.
The town celebrates this with the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival,
a huge event that brings people from all over to see giant pumpkins,
enjoy pumpkin-themed food, and have fun with family-friendly activities.
From pumpkin patches filled with vibrant colors
to the legendary World Champion Pumpkin Way Off,
there's no better place to experience everything pumpkins.
Whether you're picking out a pumpkin or just soaking in the festive vibes,
Half Moon Bay is the ultimate fall destination for pumpkin lovers.
Oh, I've arrived at Half Moon Bay already.
Look at all these pumpkins. There are so many.
Some pumpkin patches didn't let me in because I'm a corgi,
but here at Tom and Pete's Produce, they welcomed me with open paws.
It's such a great place for corgis like me to enjoy the pumpkin vibes.
Just in case you're not familiar, let me explain what a pumpkin patch is.
A pumpkin patch is a farm or field where pumpkins are grown,
and during the fall season, people visit to pick their own pumpkins for decorations,
carving, or even cooking.
It's a fun family activity, and many pumpkin patches also offer
other fall-themed attractions like hay rides, corn mazes, and more.
Do you have this kind of tradition in your country?
Let me know in the comments.
I just arrived at another spot of Produce here in Half Moon Bay.
Wow, they even have corn mazes.
It looks like so much fun, but before I try the maze,
I need to pick out some pumpkins first.
Let's go check them out.
Well, which one should I choose?
Wait, are those chickens?
This mushroom-shaped pumpkin is so cute.
Then we got this pumpkin such a nice milky orange color.
It looks just like a Cinderella pumpkin.
It's perfect.
Yeah, it's corn maze time.
I'm so excited to dive into this maze and see if a corgi like me can find my way out.
Wish me luck as I explore all the twists and turns.
This is going to be so much fun.
