Mo Gilligan kicks off The BRITs! | The BRIT Awards 2022

Welcome to the Motu Arena for the biggest night in British music. Yes, it's the Brie Awards. V&A on a Saturday night, come on. Listen, we've got some amazing performances tonight. We got Dave Fender, we got Lil X and we got Adele just to name a few. Is here tonight, we've got some of the biggest musicians in the world and we got the lovely thousands of fans in the Motu Arena tonight. Make some noise for yourself 10 times. We've even got my auntie Patrice. Where you at auntie Patrice? I see you. Come on man. Someone get her a double rum and coke and two Magnums. Now listen, one thing that is different this year is that there is no gender to the awards. Now everyone thought that was great apart from the male artists who realized they were up against Adele. Thanks for coming lads. Also this year, we are creating a party and a vibe. Now in the artist area behind the bar, it's none other than Maya Germer. The scenes are immaculate. Everyone's got their glad rags on and we've got cocktails. So I'll talk you through them. The classic Cosmopolitan. Let's see what you did there Mo. Then we've got passion fruit martini and man like mojito. Yes. So you can tell how happy everyone is to be out and I'm pretty much responsible for every artist getting bladdered. So come on over. Nice. Oh I'm feeling some of those. Man like mojito. Cosmopolitan. Give up for Maya Germer everybody ladies and gentlemen.
