I'm taking my twin granddaughter's bass fishing today. A huge hurricane just came through our
area, so wish us luck. But sometimes I just have to show them who the boss is.
Let's see who catches more fish. Frankie showed up. Hey buddy. You peeing? Got it? Huh? Come here
buddy. You're like the size of a rat. So the girls showed up. They brought Frankie. You gonna do some
What's up girls? What's up? Y'all ready to get it? Are you? Yeah, I'm ready to get it. Come on.
Listen, we're out here at the at a pond that's just full of bass and we're going to lay slap
into them. Are we not? Hopefully. Yeah. All right. So yeah, so I've got my pole sitting back there
because I made a promise to the girls that I would not catch all the bass before they had
Listen, I'm just telling, I want to be considerate of y'all's skill level versus my skill level.
You know? Anyway, let's uh, let's see if these girls can't catch. What are you fishing with?
What is that? I don't know. Yeah, it's a white fluke.
You got a white fluke on your bedazzled rod. Yeah, right.
All right, that'll work. So you also got, we also got Frankie with us.
So Frankie, hopefully he doesn't get eaten by an alligator while we're out here.
Hopefully we don't get eaten by alligators. So let's uh, let's, let's start fishing, shall we?
All right, have at it. Come on. You want me to hold that dog? Yeah, I bet that dog,
he's like starving. I don't know if I should have brought him. Shocker. Y'all worry about fishing,
I worry about Frankie. He's in here eating his grass. I gotta teach y'all how to cast according
to the, according to the people, according to the people. But y'all are more saltwater fisher than
freshwater fishermen. And I'm gonna do a saltwater video. I'm watching Frankie,
don't worry about Frankie. I got Frankie. Um, no. Yes. I see him. Okay, go get him.
I got him. If he starts going away somewhere, I'll get, I'll get him.
Get as close as you can to the island and we'll catch him. Good job. I'm literally watching
Frankie. So let me tell you something. When you put that worm in there, you let that thing sit
for a minute and work it slow. And then as soon as you feel the, the sensitive on the end of that
rod, you're tweaking on the uh, that's when you set the hook, you rip their lips. What are you
doing? I'm keeping all this in there by the way. There you go. There you go. That's a fish right
there. I'm watching Frankie. Me too. I feel like I'm going to get ticks out here. Nah,
you're going to be fine. Frankie might over there in the bushes. Has Frankie got treated for ticks?
No, I don't know. I hope so. There you go. Good one. Good one Z. Come on. Come on driver.
Yeah. If you get near them lily pads, that's where they're hanging out. Frankie's still in good shape.
The haters are going to tell you that you're a bad, great grandpa. Yeah.
Why? Because you just let your grand dog mess around. That's your great grand dog. Yeah.
Why haven't you spoiled Frankie yet? I have spoiled Frankie. He gets to come on every
adventure with us. Yeah. And you just leave him. Oh look at him. He's having fun. He don't care
about me. No bites yet. No bites yet. We've had like 14 casts. No bites yet. So look, when you cast,
if you end up pointing that finger at your target area, then that's where the bait will go.
All right. So put that finger down the side or down the length of the rod and that's where it
will go. And then you work it back slowly and you can feel it. You can feel it when they nibble.
You can feel the nibbles on the tip of the pole. Then you'll know you have it. See,
look how Didi's working his down there. He's been doing this a lot longer than we have. I know he's
a noob. Noob versus Frankie. He's having a field day. We should have brought some treats of some
sort. Just leave that on there. You'll be all right. No. The fish are going to be like bleh.
They don't want to eat the grass. They want to eat this nice plastic worm or whatever. Fluke.
This nice plastic fluke. Look at that. That's a fish right there. Both of y'all. Both of y'all
are on fishing. I've casted there four times. Yeah. And still yet to no fish. I want to get
farther out. Throw harder. I'm just going to chunk this bad hammer knocker. Hey,
chunk that bad hammer knocker. Come on. Come on. There you go.
So you let it go just a little too soon. The wind took it. Yeah, I didn't see where that went. I'm
watching the dog. Me too. There you go. That's a fish right there. My boot, dude. Oh, sorry.
Catching a whole lot of lily pads. Lily pads is where the bass hang out. What about ferns?
That's where I was just at. In a fern. Okay. Ready? Yeah. There you go. Right in the middle
of those lily pads. Twinkie. How you doing, buddy? Let it sit just a minute. See what happens.
We're just going to not talk about this predicament I'm in right now.
I'd say he's a little wrapped up. He'll be all right. You'll be all right. You'll be all right.
I think y'all got it. What in the world did I even do? Oh, right there. That's perfect. See?
Let it sit. You got it. Brother, it's sitting. That's the perfect spot. You work your way
around that little island right there. You got it. Right there. We might not let Frankie be a
mascot no more. He's good for other things. Especially during fishing videos. Fishing videos,
you might have to just stay still. He's right here. Come see mama. Hey, buddy. Where's he at?
He's right here. Frankie. What's up, buddy? Pick your dress up. Why is it doing that,
you reckon? Me wrapping it around it? Yeah. I don't know, but why the heck is it so hot out
here? I know. Y'all need to be standing in the shade. Brother, there ain't no shade.
My legs are on fire. I'm on fire, Cleeks. Y'all can't come out here and get skunked.
All right, Dub. I think that's your problem. You're too worried about the dog as opposed to
Frankie. There he is. What's up, buddy? Hey, buddy. You need to put a bell on him.
It had one. What'd you do with it, buddy? Come to your mother. Yeah. You know like the things
that the moms wear that they put their baby in? It's like a swaddle or something. I think I'm
going to get one of those for him. He likes me putting stuff on his shoulders. All day at the
buggy. What are you doing, Frankie? Do you think fish are going to bite after all this rain they
had? So we're trying to fish after a hurricane, right? Yeah. Yeah. I feel like I was here not
to do that. Shoot. That's when you want to do it. Really? I don't know. I feel like all the rain
makes the fish hide. Yeah, he will. Literally make him go to sleep. He did perfectly fine in
I'll be back. Ow, that really hurt. Is the key in the truck? No, it's right here. You're going
to need that. Maybe. I might be close enough. I don't know. I could start it with my phone.
Can you? You got you like a Tesla. Yeah, that is a good pitch. Papa Ham's got like the,
what do you got, 350? Yeah. Got that F-350 Cybertruck.
F-350 Cybertruck? Yeah. We might go somewhere else if we don't be,
we don't start catching something over here. Yeah. Trying to fish after a hurricane.
Camo. We should probably start asking the head cashier at Walmart where to go.
And you're in your camo croc. That's right. I need to get past it. I need to get past it. Yeah.
Dede's just over in his own little world over there. I don't know how deep it is there.
We need a frog for this situation. Yeah, all these lily pads and everything. Yep.
So we got two white flukes and a June bug red trick worm. And well, if you're fishing in this
spot, neither of those will work for you. Come on. I better at least have a fly.
Ooh, that breeze feels good. It does feel good, don't it? Let's see here. I'm going to try to
cast over, over here. See what I can get. See what I can make happen over here. Man,
my feet going to get all wet. I should take my socks off. Ew. Yeah, you got to take the crocs
off every now and then, Papa Ham. I feel like I'm about to see a snake. Camo. Ooh, got that gentle
hand. Yeah, for real. Dede, you said there's some fish over here. Oh, I got a fish. Oh, baby.
Get out of here. You put that on there. Let's see how small it is. Oh, that's actually a pretty
decent size. Okay. That's pretty good, Papa Ham. Where'd you just cast? That wasn't good.
That was like literally two seconds ago. Yeah, I mean, it's pretty decent size.
You put some peanut butter on. You put some peanut butter on. That's pretty decent size,
Papa Ham. You missed it. Papa Ham just caught a bass. How big? How big? 14 pounds. It actually
wasn't bad. You'll just have to see when the video comes out. They're not aggressive. Yeah,
but I say you didn't even know you had a fish on. How big was it? Not big enough, obviously. No,
it was actually pretty good. Probably two pounds, pound and a half, two pounds.
All right, so my feet are already wet, so I committed.
Thanks for casting right over me. Where did you go? You already casted? Yeah.
Where are y'all at? I'll just cast right over all y'all.
No more solid out here. I was hoping the grass would
get solid. Dang, he's swimming over there. I need to go over here and find Deedee.
Pardon me. Where's your, let me go under your pole. I just, it gets old after a while just
slaying y'all under here. Does it? Z, will you reel a little? You're good. Yeah. It's just so
much dang grass. Who is playing music? I do too. Me and Deb both could hear it. Someone's out here
partying. Don't they know we're trying to slay the fish over here? I got sweat dripping down my back.
Yeah, it's hot out here. I'm about to go, I'm about ready to go slay these hogs.
Dang, I caught something. A whole lily pad. That's not what I want.
All right, we moved spots just to prove to the girls that I can, you know,
slay them over here or over there. It doesn't bother me. Maybe I can slay them over here.
What do you think? All right, Deb, go get them.
Wind is just so bad. It is, I'm literally, I have nowhere else to stand. Uh, your camera just fell
off. Like look. I'm gonna get them on this one. There you go. Okay, there has to be one there
because that's exactly where I just thought I caught one. Oh my gosh. I just stepped and slid
I'm gonna get away from y'all. Y'all too close to me.
Yeah, there you go. What was wrong with that? Oh, this wind.
Old Deedee telling stories. Oh, there's fish all in this pond.
I ain't never been with so many excuse makers in my entire life.
Lord have mercy.
Yeah, good for that curveball. Yeah, look at it just goes right over there.
Hey, you guys leave a comment about fishing in the wind. What's a good
technique for fishing in the wind? Don't do it. Don't do it. Yeah. So what about,
what about fishing after a hurricane? Yeah, that's right. We did just have a hurricane yesterday.
So that might have fouled them up worse than this wind. I just feel like you should be catching
something right there though. I mean, Zee, I just feel like you should catch something right there.
Seriously. I know, me too. That's where the fish normally would be. What if the hurricane
made the water rise so much that they're really like way out there. All right. Y'all want to go
hog hunting? Yeah. All right. All right. One more cast, then we're going to hog hunting. Yeah,
me too. That's cast of the day. Okay. Yeah. She went to the right of that little pad.
While you're reeling it in, tell us about the other platforms.
We got Seat Saw. Go follow that. HS Outdoors. All right. And we also have Instagram. That's
check it out now. Oh, don't try to fool nobody while we're doing this.
Got them. The white fluke. Shall we hog hunt? All right. We're going hog hunting. You guys,
listen. I hate to brag. I mean, what lessons? I'm honestly surprised that you're still doing
this. It doesn't surprise me at all. It literally don't surprise me at all.
Yeah, I know. I need to teach them some life lessons every now and again about being humble
and things like that, right? Yeah. You know what I mean? So every now and then you got to humble
them. You know what I'm saying? Y'all did good. I'm proud of y'all. You did really good. So anyway,
hey, we appreciate you guys watching. Papa Ham 1, Girl 0. Can they call me Pro-Po-Ham?
Okay. Well, we can do that. Hamiltonville Farm. What about the...
No. Can I not do that? No. I don't know what that was.
Oh, I don't need it. It should never happen again. Hamiltonville Farm out. Deuces.
