Hey! Welcome to my channel. Brad Wardle, callsign Captain Wingnut from Cougar Ridge Ranch,
high in the Uintah Mountains of eastern Utah. You know, I'm often asked,
why don't mosquitoes bite you? How come they don't bite? What do you do? You never put anything on.
I never really tell people. But I believe you need to turn your body into its own mosquito repellent.
And it's really easy. And I'm going to show you how to do it. I seldom tell people this,
but I'm going to share it with you. So hang on, we'll be right back.
The easiest way, in my opinion, to not get bit by mosquitoes, fleas, gnats,
is to turn your body into natural insect repellent. And to do that, we take garlic.
Yeah, we take it in a capsule form because you can't eat enough of this to make it happen. Well,
you probably could, but you want this to happen fast. That's it. Thanks for watching.
Wow, is that it? No, there's more.
This isn't going to work if you're allergic to garlic or anything in the onion family.
And I'm really sorry for you if that's the case. But if you're not allergic to garlic and onions
in that family, then this works great. When we're at the ranch, we don't have too many mosquitoes.
We have gnats that get kind of at it sometimes of the year. And this works great for that.
But usually, a day or two before we start, before we get on the plane to fly to Hawaii,
we just take one caplet, 1250 milligrams of garlic. And we take one every day when we're in Hawaii.
And we just don't get bothered by mosquitoes or fleas or anything else. You see, this Italian
spice is unbelievably good at masking your human scent or the fact that you've got blood and they
could suck it. It works just like DEET. And DEET is a very common mosquito repellent that you spray
on, rub on, wipe on, whatever. But this works from the inside out, not the outside in. It interferes
with your human scent and it masks your human scent. It's kind of like your own personal
cloaking system. Oh, hi. I didn't know you could see me. To mosquitoes, gnats, fleas,
biting little bloodsuckers, they don't even know that you exist. This cloaking system that garlic
gives you is the greatest thing. Now, how does it work? This is kind of a little lesson in science.
This is how it works. When you take garlic, it releases a chemical called allicin through your
pores, out of your skin. Now, allicin is an organosulfur or an organic... I can't even speak
today. Organic sulfur. And that is the garlic smell. So, you basically smell a little bit like garlic
and insects hate garlic. They absolutely do not like garlic. If you plant a garlic plant next to
another plant in the garden, the insects will leave them both alone. They don't like it at all.
So, they just think that you're another garlic plant and they don't think that that's something
that they want to do any bloodsucking on. Okay, so other plants in this family, leeks, onions,
chives, all give you the same benefit. But I don't think you can eat enough of this
to give you what these do. So, I like these. These little odor control
caplets. 1250 milligrams and one a day and you are good to go.
Now, if you want to boost this, even make it better, up your vitamin B intake. Especially vitamin B1.
That is thiamine. And thiamine... there's some controversy. Does thiamine repel mosquitoes?
Does it not? You know, some say it does, some say it doesn't. But I think that when you put thiamine
and garlic together, the synergistic compound is even better. We take a lot of vitamin B just
naturally every day. It gives you a lot of energy. It's really good for you. And then you take garlic
and it's not just good for your blood. It keeps the bloodsuckers away from you. All I can tell you
is that when we're taking B vitamins and garlic, we are not desirable by the mosquitoes or the fleas
when we're in Hawaii at all. Also, when we're in Hawaii, a lot of people say,
why aren't the mosquitoes eating you? You're covered in welts. And I'll tell you, when you
get bit by those Hawaiian mosquitoes, they leave some serious welts that last for weeks. So, it's
not something that you want mosquito bites or gnats or fleas. It's just not fun. And so, turn
your body into a natural repellent. Take garlic, up your vitamin B, and you'll do a lot better.
I could pretty much guarantee it. You'll like it. Now, this is Brad Wardle, callsign Captain
Wingnut from Cougar Ridge Ranch, high in the Uintah Mountains of eastern Utah, signing off.
And remember, use your common sense.
