Link in the description. And he's playing some very good basketball. Gafford at center court with eight and a tip one by the Dallas Mavericks who are not only without Luka Doncic but without P.J. Washington and Najee Marshall and Derek Lively. Rebound to eight. Outlet pass. Shaden Sharp with it. Glancing left. Glancing right. Takes it right down the chute with a beautiful crossover. Dancing by Cleaven to lay it in. There's not a lot of people that can stop him with his strength and skill set. So smooth. Yeah. Off the screen is Kyrie Irving. Irving. He'll raise and dribble three. That is a career high number. He's just so good across the board. Always a threat for 50, 40, 90. 50 from the field. 40 from three. 90 from the free throw line. That's somewhere Shaden Sharp's trying to get, Kev. It should be. That's somewhere he's trying to get. Slip of the screen is eight. Out to Shade. Makes the three. Drives it inside. Lays it up. Nope. But right there at the hatch. Missed that entire first year with micro fracture surgery. Then he came back and played two years of the Blazers. Irving, a pull up. From the elbow on the run. Knocks it down. Drop coverage. And he got the jump shot on D.A. So D.A. that time closed the gap a little bit. Made a slight adjustment. Thompson went dribbling up. And a solid stroke. Clay Thompson shooting 38% for the year. Sharp. Gets new dribbles from eight. Backs off Powell. And a view. Down and stolen by Henderson. Scoot. Three on three to Shaden. Pump fake. Drives it. Hangs in the air. Finger roll. Flip up and in a little dance. Dallas winning it 98-89. This is a very good Dallas defense. Max hits Prosper. Drives into the lane. High bank. No. Rebound grab by Gafford for the stuff. Seeing can the Blazers consistently attack these gaps in the zone. Rupert gives to Murray. Runs right into Prosper. Who picks his pocket up the floor. He'll lay it in. A week later asking them about another event so they can pay their rent. And I'm like you just got $15,000 seven days ago. What are we talking about? You know? So just the little things. You know? Until you can stop them. Why change it? You know? So that's why I kind of want to see DeAndre go in there a little bit more. But the way he's playing now and making that midrange, he doesn't really need to. Let's see what Dallas can do to weather that storm. Dallas 14-9 against Western Conference teams. They are fourth best in the West coming in. They are 7-1 when Kyrie Irving is present and Luka is not playing. Najee Marshall has been suspended for four games. of Dallas. Blazers 4-13. Paint points at 24, 14 advantage Blazers and that speaks to the job that Aiton has done tonight. Here comes Simons the other way. But that's what the Blazers can do when they allow him to run on the lane and you got the other guys playing with their head up. Rimes comes off the screen, hesitates from three, pounds it inside, and there's Powell. Yeah. Grant comes to it. Scoot has a step along the end line. He got bagged in the act. Out that bucket. Yorkman stepping in for the Blazers again here tonight. He and the staff did a terrific job. Some of the officials get it right on the inbounds. Kleba slants, draws and kicks. Kyrie's is into a three. Shooting 4-4-7. I did. I like that little dribble adjustment into a corkscrew. 14-7 for 8 tonight. He's just been so lively on both ends of the floor. So much really goes to their general manager, Nico Harrison, and the environment he's created there for Kyrie to fit in. Now, how about Scoot? Season with the Warriors after 11 years spent there. Four championships inside. Avia turns, hooks, and scores. Look who's guarding him. Avia comes the other way. Grant sweeps it. Kick it. Simons a three. Kyrie filibustering over there. He'll lean in lefty and score. Very creative play. Kyrie into the paint. Kick it outside to Thompson. The three is off, and the rebound is Sharps. Jabbed away to Simons. Up to Sharp. Into the lane. Stay with the play. Finger rolling in. Draw foul. Dallas shooting 43% tonight. Blazers 53 because of stuff like this. Dribble penetration. Getting it down to the paint. Gafford says not this time. Go get it, J.G. Grimes the other way. J.G. with a hack. He strips it. Into the hands of Simons. Up the floor. Drew contact, but plays through it. It might start a fight. It might be the last call that's made that day. Oh, good block, D.C. Lincoln saves it. Right to Kyrie Irving. Lincoln had not had a block in the previous two games. They rotated in the corner, and there is Grimes with three. Seven of 12 from the field. Six assists, four steals. Best part of all that is he did not have a turnover in the first half. Hopper, 8 of 13, 19 points for Henderson. Hardy strikes gold from three. A minute left here in the quarter. Dinwiddie changes course, and Dinwiddie is going to the line again as he draws the foul on Rupert. Kyrie Irving back in. Donald's going to try to make a run here early behind Irving and Thompson who triggers and misses. Gafford in there as well. Here's a drop pass inside from Kyrie, and Gafford immediately windmills in there for a jam. Gafford's block was so good, it was a pass. Right into the shot pocket of Jeremy. Slanting in is Kyrie. A circus shot in the paint. He'll pop it up and in. Challenged at the cup. Down is the other way. Kyrie a three. Yes, sir. Kyrie Irving a triple. He sees his good pass, turns it into two points. Kyrie deep three with Simons closing out. He wheels it up and in. He felt the need to throw it that high because of how high Gafford could go up to intercept it. Kyrie winds up on a triple. Nearly banked it in. He did. It rolled around, caught the lip, and rolled in. Dallas trying to put pressure now as Kyrie drives it into the paint. Challenged by Grant. He'll step back, get a little airspace, and got a friendly roll again. Dipping deep into that bag. 13 of his 39 in the quarter. Crossing over. Kyrie into the paint. Laid it up and in. That is Shaden Sharp with a drive into the lane. The Mavs sitting in this zone defense, and they've left that middle open quite a bit. There it is. Obdie attacks the rack. Gafford denies with a left hand. And here we come to the six-minute mark where the Blazers leading by five. Obdie rolls it inside. Aiden at the cup, gathers it in, reverses it home. Obdie up. Surveys. Up top. Excellent pass again, Lamar. Right there to eight. Into front court comes Shaden Sharp. Does not have numbers. Drives it into the paint. Fades over Thompson and scores. Very difficult shot, huh, Lamar? Wow. Grimes sprints in to grab the board. Grimes on the reset. Checked by Sharp. Now the closeout from Obdie up. But it's Grimes who triggers and knocks down a triple. He had 28 earlier this year. And he has pulled Dallas to within six. Simons, three minutes remaining. Hook pass. Out on top, Obdie. Shake left, move right on Thompson. And freewheels right up over Cleveland. Kyrie out of the corner. Turns, fades, fires, and hits a three. Wow. The Blazers need to be judicious with the ball here. Obdie off the screen. Hands off to Simons. Up top for a three and a beautiful shot there. With two minutes remaining on the night. Nine-point lead for the Blazers. Kyrie sees two defenders. Gets rid of it to Kleba. Aiton recovers. Here's a hook pass outside to Grimes. Dinwiddie catch and shoot three. He counters a three. Simons on the screen. Downhill on Kleba. Bicycles the legs and flutters it up and in. Dinwiddie in the front court. Immediately pulls the string on a three. That changes the calculation a little bit. A five-point Blazer lead. 31.3 seconds remaining. Dribble drive. Kleba. Thompson. Fifth on the all-time three-point list. Gave it up to Aiton who finds Obdie. Up the floor comes Dinwiddie. And they are forced to foul. And Obdie will step to the line. Blazers are bringing it down. And that should be that as the Dallas Mavericks concede. Blazers are going to win this one tonight. Final tonight here in Rip City.
