Yeah, we're real active foot to foot, you know that. Find that that new uphill foot early with
that ankle flexion, you know what I'm talking about when I say that? Yes. So let me show you
what you're doing a little bit with your stance, okay? Right in my waist, you're just bending a
little bit, okay? So if you over bend at your knees, then you compensate by over bending at
your waist and then we lose all of our ankle flexion. Can you see my ankles? Okay, ideally
we want to be up working into our ankles, not over bending at the knees or the waist.
Not so much bending in here, okay? Bend more into the cup of the boots, bend more at those ankles,
less bending in the midsection, okay? So ideally we're looking for equal flexion more or less in
all of the joints, okay? You are over bending in the waist just a little bit, okay? Now I don't
want you to stand tall like a pencil, I want you to be a little bit taller but not rigid, okay?
Yes, your knees bend, yes, your waist bends, just not quite so much, okay? We'll use that
as the focus this time, okay? Go ahead. More into the ankles, more into the feet and ankles.
Yeah, yeah, this is better already, better already. Very active with your legs,
active foot to foot. That's better, Bridget. The inside leg gets shorter,
yeah, finding those ankles. Nice adjustment.
Whoa, yeah. So what you did that time, which was so cool, is you brought the bending into your
uphill inside leg. I felt that. Yeah, you brought the bending there. That was sweet. I didn't even
tell you to do that. And then your outside leg was a little bit longer and you had a little
more length. Independent legs, I mean, that's what skiing is all about. Independent leg action.
You just did it. That was awesome. Cool. Want to do it again? Yeah. Okay. How did it look on
the flexion this time? Well, yeah, that's what I was referring to. I mean, you, that bending at
the waist went away. You allowed your inside leg to bend more and your whole body, that whole
midsection did not bend over. Okay. At the waist. Yeah. Nice adjustment. Let's go do it some more.
