His Vegas Show, Inspiration, & Colin Cloud - Shin Lim Answers Your Questions

We're going to end with some social media questions. Okay. Austin Kelly, how were you first introduced to magic? Well, my older brother showed me a simple card trick and I was blown away and asked him how do you do it and he told me to go on YouTube and that's what I did. And also on the Larry King Now blog, do you have any desire to get into more physical magic like the kind David Blaine performs? Like the pain tolerance type of things? Probably not. I don't know if I want to hurt my body. Too much of a wuss to do that, to be honest. And also wants to know, anything special we can expect from your Vegas show? More immaculate magic. Just like bigger and more and more stagy. Do you have assistants? Probably not. No, I still won't. I'm trying to keep it really like simple and raw. Randall Clark on Facebook, what currently inspires you? It's, I mean, it's always has been watching other magicians perform. It usually inspires me and still does today. And also just like having a group of friends that you just communicate, like I kind of exchange ideas with them and they inspire me all the time. Bryson Knox on Facebook, what magician or illusionist would you like to collaborate with in a future show? Probably Colin Cloud. I don't know if you've ever heard of him, but he's quite amazing. Nancy Sands on the Larry King Now blog, do you perform magic every day for family and friends? Nope. They don't want to watch my magic. They've seen enough of it. Do you know how the guy does the trick where you pick a card or something at the end of the trick, the card's on the ceiling? Yep. Yeah, that's a good one. You do that too? Yeah. I can't do it right now, but I can. Jane Vickso on the Larry King Now blog, what are your goals going forward? Obviously Vegas and just kind of having bigger magic because everything right now is kind of small, you know, and so that's the hard part, I guess, is transitioning because I'm so comfortable with cards and sleight of hand.
