It's possible to take a normal eucalyptus didge that's got a big bore, or any didge that's got a bigger bore with a wax mouthpiece that's making the mouthpiece smaller,
and open that up to make it possible to play the Lone Odon.
So you might need to start playing your didge for a little while to get the wax heated up so you can really mold it,
but once the wax is moldable, this is what it might look like normally,
and you want to just pull it whichever direction the didge sits.
It'll sit in one natural way, and find the way that it sits, and then open it horizontally in an oval shape.
Open it up wide, and so it'll be a total oval shape.
And the other thing that helps is these edges that are raised up, you can actually pull them back down,
and that's going to give that, like if you notice with my wooden mouthpieces on this website,
that they've got a concave shape, and that'll give your nose and the front of your teeth more room to sit naturally,
while this wraps around the side of your face a little more.
So you can actually kind of build it out of wax, that mouthpiece design,
and that should be good enough for just finding the normal drop octave technique on a eucalyptus didge.
So it should be about an inch and a half, one inch and three eighths to inch and a half,
which is about 3.5 centimeters to 3.8, and you can go all the way up to like 4 centimeters,
or a little over an inch and a half when you first start to really find that flapping,
but that's pretty much the design, and also to have, see how there's a little thin edge,
that actually kind of helps keep the air seal a lot better without having to smash your face,
or if it's like a really flat edge like that, like a much more flat edge,
you just kind of have to put a little more force, so if you keep that little rigid edge,
not like a sharp edge, but just a rigid edge, it'll give you a little more seal, better air seal.
