many insurance companies have cancelled insurance for a lot of the families who have been affected and will be affected which is only going to delay or place an added burden on their ability to recover and I think that is an important point that must be raised um and hopefully there can be some way to address that issue because these families so many of them otherwise will not have the resources to recover in any meaningful way I grew up in a country with price controls trust me you don't want to experience that I'm Franklin Camaro born in Venezuela once a prosperous Nation now a place where the average person lost £4 in 2017 I call it the Socialist diet and it was a result of horrible policies by Chavez and Maduro what did they do to destroy Venezuela one key factor price control Chavez imposed price controls on 400 basic food items to fight inflation greedy corporations and protect the poor Maduro had expanded these controls to basically all food products and even started jailing business people for price gouging sound familiar why do pr price controls fail because they exclude producers and workers who are not willing or they are not able to produce below Market expectations prices are indicators messing with these indicators destroys the market hopefully there can be some way to address that issue because these families so many of them otherwise will not have the resources to recover in any meaningful way
