Installing the Bathtub and Plumbing The Master Bathroom by Myself in our Mobile Home!

okay the goal today is get that back though in here sitting in and the floor and get this sewer pipe this block to a boy here hook to the bottom of my back though and then it's got to get hooked to right there which is a vent that goes up to the roof I didn't have a park's last weakness and now we've got him I think I hope but we've got to cut that I don't know if we won't cut it there there but we got to cut that get this to go down on the floor and missed it the bathtub then get it to go over here and connect to the bathtub somewhere in here then get it to go over here and look through this other black line so first things first we're going to get all this stuff up and get swept up we're going to bring the bathtub over here and set it in here and see if the drain clear and then we got to put a pea trap and the pea trap is this thing here basically this and the reason you want that on there that horse you looking tight is so this stays full of water all the time and you don't have no gas coming from the septic tank or the sewer line and it goes through here and comes up where you can smell it inside the house and every fixture has that on the other way right there's one for the same it's the same thing so everything's got to have it this bathtubs got to have it and that's what we're gonna work on let me get this cleaned up and I'll be back with you here shortly okay we've got a swept up cleaned up now we're gonna try to manhandle this bathtub in here and you see what we got going on here this sticks down below so I've got to make sure I've got the floor cut out good enough for that stick down and then I'm going to have to come back in here and patch the floor here and patch the floor here where it's underneath that tub to get in front of it support so we're gonna figure all that out today but that's our only objective to get this in if we get this in then that's the surround therefore the back of the tub that should be easy to put on and then I've got the sides down should just flop right up and then we'll come back and we'll put a wall all the way around it I do not have the drywall so I'll have to run and get that but that wasn't big no big deal yeah I get that so let's try to get this bathtub injured well looks like our first carbonyl is getting it through the door but we'll keep working on we'll get it eventually I hope we've got this little access panel out last week here in the bedroom but as you can see well I hope you can see we did not cut out enough floor so take the bathtub back up cut some floor up this looks like it's gonna be a long road out day we'll still have two batches forward but we'll get there slowly but surely whoo we've got it sitting down in there from where it goes got all that down we still have not hooked up but we don't have a cutout where you get to it and get it so that's next okay last week I didn't have enough fittings to do the job so this week always got something I've got teased I've got 90s I got more 90s I got 45 there I've got couplers there I got p-traps there I got a 45 with no hello facilities it'll do it a little tighter another p-trap some 45 is there some more 45 and there might be 22 and sanitary tea and the that is to make a sink drain but all this is inch-and-a-half stuff that's what goes in there so I've got a little extra couple sticks pipe here that's more pipe in there we'll get it done one way or another even if I've got to build it three or four times the trick is I've got a 10,000 square foot warehouse over here Antonio and I never have what I need so buy a few extras leave it in my warehouse and if something happens again on Sunday I'll have it next time I almost forgot I've got the Milwaukie it's gonna help me through it I got the six-pack charger that's pretty good but they charge like it'll charge this battery then when this one's whole little towards this one and then when this one's full little George this one and when this one traditional and that's pretty good long as you're not using you know four or five batteries at one time and killing them all at the same time if like I'm using that drill that matter real good did the radio battery of go bid and then the saws-all battery and then the skill saw and then the that one there that it's an oscillator to will go dead and long as it goes did you know after each other long as they all don't go dead at some time that thing does good I like it and keeps all your batteries in one spot you don't have to worry about them all the time this makes it a little easier I think like right now it's got a green light here that means this battery charger um this one's got a red light means this one is not charged but you got this button here you can jump it from here to the next uncharged battery and that's this blinking battery so if I go from here and hit the button it'll jump over here and start charging this one if I hit the button again it'll jump back here and start in this one because that's the next one that's not charged then we'll go back over here because this one is charged this one's shorter than this one's Georgia but it makes it handy more you can know you can grab it together you'll have six batteries and you can always keep them charging in when you got stuff like this one person using this kind of stuff it makes it good because that's gonna run out before that and that's going out before that and that's going on before that so and that's gonna run out faster than all them so it makes it nice you know it'll just keep charging where you don't have to worry about it constantly and it makes it a little easier and you can grab hold of them carry six at a time instead of carrying you know two chargers and two batteries here and then then six tools and then the radio you've you've got the capacity just to grab okay here's where I've got I've got this already was hooked up but basically I've got my P trap in I've got a tea here looks like everything's gonna be trapped my P trap goes that way basically then he comes into the front side of the tea another horrible I think I'll try to get you some more light but right now I'm or run from here out that way and try to get hooked up to this mine here and then I've got a run from here that way and try to get to fight way over there and then I gotta get flooring all back in here so I'll be back with you that PPC down there I've got to get into so I got to figure out if this will get me over there see how that worked or if I'm gonna have to do this type of deal get me over there come in there and come out over there two lanes or if I have to do a 45 like so and 45 like so 45 and 45 with peace pipe and joint to make it a longer sweeping so we'll figure out which one of them work you know let you know now there's no really wrong or right way to do this because this is a vent pipe now if this was the Superboy actual water running through it I might consider doing something different but it looks like 90s they're gonna work the best for me the way I want to do it anyone there's basically come off of that with a 90 like so then we'll run a piece of pipe out of that up to here turn 90 on it and run back into there so that's what I'm gonna do if I don't see no reason why I won't work so these 45 let me get me over forward okay here we go at 45 if I stick it there it won't get me here we go it won't get me out there far enough to get into that other piece of pipe I'll have to you know come out here and then I'll be pulling this piece of pipe out of the wall trying to get over there and then I'm going to hear that fear with my bathtub up there so I'm gonna do the 90s that way I can set this pipe where I want it in the wall here and I won't have to worry about trying to mend it my second point where I won't worry about trying to bend it I can sit it right here in the middle and be done with it but that's what I'm gonna do I'll get back with you here short well we're getting to the homestretch now we've got p-trap in it's tied into the tea the tea is tied into over here to a 90 but 90 comes up hits this 19 which comes over here and hits another 90 which goes out to roof so now all we got to do is connect this tea to the line over there and we'll be doing Oh put four back up and put this around around the bathtub and put the drywall up and put the faucet in and showerheads and load a laboratory and then we'll be getting close to this one oh but other than that just a little bit of stuff we'll get it not gonna be no problem okay we put a little overflow on we've gotta bring in make sure the drain was tightened down there I'll just tighten up the overflow I've got to put the this overflow I mean this drain come with this has anybody else then we use the box as work just a cardboard box I mean he'll it's about like a kid playing around with a ball they like the box more than they do whatever you bond in the box but makes it good work I've been cutting bite on boot stuff together we're fixing get this last piece in I got the peace Cup we're gonna get it real quick and be done with it well being by myself here down there I overshot it a little bit but I think we'll be alright we'll be able to hook it in right here oh that's true this back a little bit this one is a Cook Strait anyways good trim it back a little bit get it lined up and be ready we need to figure out a way put water on you gotta watch easy going for a few minutes and make sure they don't blow back upon they the one you first put the glue on there and put them together they'll separate they'll push back apart and pop themselves out if you're not careful so you've got to hold them for just a minute to let that glue sit especially if that primer is still a little wet when you put it together so I'm gonna go get a hose hook it to the display line and try to fill this hole try to fill this back to a book and make sure I don't have any leaks before start putting this floor back on and we'll get back up to you when I'm pumping water in this thing holler at you in a minute well I looked over and we head and took the trash out yet so remember that piece that broke off earlier that's what we're going to use look it don't look like it we'll just put it there and try to hit about in the middle of the bathtub which done seen if I screwed here that's gonna be up there and that's gonna be spraying like crazy but you'd be all right you might even get me a clamp there and clamp it down but I'll get back with you in a minute when we get the water sprayed well we got put this back window and I'll show you what that looks like that's what we're doing still a one-man band the deck I've got my guard all warmed up I have not put tape the violin it yet I've took this down up here that's out here so I can recenter it um it needs to be centered here so I've got to get that right once I get that right I'll put that back up but first we've got to get this back home I turn it on sideways for a double two before me so the drywall can hit it and II thought can be screwed to gonna put y'all wall around that wall over here but no look back shower get up there we'll be good to go knock it out get it the way we want and be done with it but it's gonna look good here I believe after everything is said and done but I got nine percent done here I'm gonna wait to Ronnie gets here in the morning finalize everything just in case we have to tweak something I've done everyone I wanna do nothing here that's irreversible like drill them holes that he's here and it looks like with this here it's going to be want to move them up to get it in there where we won't moving it up want to move that up get all that set and then do this back here so but it looks good it's going to be a good bathtub and that's now in my opinion this is the only way to do it you can't that stuff that they had up there the paper or whatever you want to call it this is the way to go you can you can see that's fiberglass plastic fiberglass slicing you get extra out of it you don't have to worry about it the water running back behind it I mean it's just it's the way to go I believe in my personal opinion it all snaps together in lock seams lock seen them on these these spots right here holds it together comes in three pieces so you can actually or four pieces count about them so you can actually get it through the door I did try to put one of these in it's a one-piece and when you do that you've got to demolish everything which it wouldn't have been too bad here I could cut that wall out there and slid right through but the problem is getting it in here I would have to cut that wall up do the heat in here but we've got just about everything of we're putting that up and once we get it our tops it I've already got some folks about their intro so tomorrow will be
