hi everybody it's Shana at the ab
apartments in King of preia listen this
is going to be a yoga inspired move
right I've been even teaching my
three-year-old son Dean that stretching
in the morning is super important so
I've been doing little stretches with
him just to kind of you know get his
mind right get his body flowing and it's
working so I feel like I want to share
that with you but this particular one
it's kind of just little yoga flow you
can do it at your own pace I love to do
it in the morning just do it you know
for maybe 10 minutes and it just kind of
censers your body gets you ready for
your day you ready to go I know this is
a different version of me than you're
used to but stretching is important it
is um so we're going to start in a high
plank okay so and let listen you can go
at your own pace yoga is supposed to
be personal right you work at your own
pace and that's what I love about it so
coming into a high plank pushing back
through your heels ABS engage roll your
shoulders back we go from a high plank
to a low plank so taking your elbows all
the way back and down belly to floor
taking your toes to the floor press up
through your arms stretch your belly
this feels so good then we're going to
curl the toes under downward-facing dog
pressing our hips up pressing your chest
towards your thighs and we're going to
just repeat it so again in a f faster
way it just looks like this so we're
going to high plank low plank chatarunga
curl the toes under downward facing dog
and really focus on your breath here
right inhale
exhale and just listen to your body it's
super important and you know it has
healing properties too I swear it does
sometimes we just need to move slow
listen to our body listen to our breath
and just reenter ourselves you know
we're always moving at a fast pace and I
think it's really important to slow down
too listening to our body elongating our
muscles stretching out anything that
feels tight or stiff you know so anyway
I love this yoga flow I think you will
love it too even if you do I challenge
you like even if you just do this every
morning for 10 minutes put on some soft
music or you could do it in silence and
just focus on what you want to achieve
that day focus on your breath and I'm
telling you it makes a difference and in
a positive way it makes a difference so
give it a try today
