This video is from Conklin, an area in Alberta, Canada.
You see some workers here, and they're filming because there are some strange and eerie sounds in the forest.
Hear that sound? It's a melody from heaven itself.
In the Bible, the sound of trumpets often heralds the imminent presence of God,
marking pivotal moments in divine revelation.
These trumpet blasts frequently coincide with profound natural disasters, earthquakes, storms, and other cataclysmic events.
These occurrences serve as both a divine warning to humanity and a signal of transformative events,
highlighting the deep connection between heavenly interventions and earthly upheavals.
These trumpet sounds remind us of key biblical moments when God's presence and power were unmistakably manifested.
At Mount Sinai, the sound of a trumpet grew louder and louder as God descended to give the Ten Commandments to Moses.
Similarly, the walls of Jericho fell after the Israelites' blue trumpets as God commanded,
illustrating the divine power behind these sounds.
In contemporary times, when we hear metaphorical trumpets through natural disasters or significant global events,
it can serve as a reminder of our vulnerability and the need for spiritual readiness.
These events prompt us to reflect on our lives, our faith, and our relationship with the divine.
They encourage us to seek deeper understanding and to prepare for the transformative changes that may lie ahead.
Let us remain vigilant, spiritually prepared, and attuned to the deeper meanings behind the events we witness.
Canada's west coast experienced an unusual event recently.
An earthquake has just struck Canada, coinciding with a total solar eclipse.
But how is this possible? Is it a sign from God, or perhaps an omen of the end times?
The earthquake and subsequent tsunami hit Canada with the force of an unimaginable nightmare,
bringing widespread destruction and devastation.
It all began with a powerful tremor that shook the ground and caused buildings to tremble under the immense pressure.
The noise of the chaos, combined with the roar of the earthquake, created an atmosphere of instability and anxiety.
People on the streets rushed out in panic, seeking safe shelter from the unpredictable danger.
But the disaster didn't end with the earthquake.
The tsunami followed, like the next nightmare, sweeping away everything in its path with uncontrollable force.
The surging water engulfed houses, destroyed infrastructure, and pushed people into desperate situations.
The cityscape transformed into a wasteland, marked by ruins and irreversible loss.
This tragedy is a stark reminder of human vulnerability in the face of nature's incredible power.
Canada's coastal areas were turned into scenes of chaos and destruction as the tsunami's impact unfolded.
The rushing waters flooded residential areas, forcing people to flee to higher ground in search of safety.
Ships at sea were tossed around like broken twigs, leaving boatmen feeling helpless and despairing.
Sturdy structures crumbled under the tsunami's power, turning into rubble.
Chaos spread as people frantically tried to save their lives and belongings.
Cries and calls for help echoed everywhere, filling the air with a pervasive sense of sorrow and pain.
The tsunami left behind a devastated landscape and a profound sense of loss.
However, amidst the pain and despair, Canadians displayed remarkable resilience and determination.
They came together to recover, rebuild, and look toward a brighter future.
The earthquake and tsunami in Canada resulted in severe consequences,
leaving coastal areas in ruins and thousands of people without homes or possessions.
Communities now face the challenging task of finding safety, rescuing lives, and rebuilding their shattered lives.
Additionally, the earthquake and tsunami have heavily impacted Canada's economy,
causing a significant decline in production and employment.
Amid this turmoil, a total solar eclipse occurred,
a much-anticipated event that stirred excitement across the country.
People eagerly awaited this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon,
although some pondered if it was a sign of the end times.
Despite various interpretations and speculations,
one thing remains certain we must be prepared for whatever comes our way.
This celestial event is closely related to the earthquake and tsunami,
reflecting the increased seismic activity and intensity observed over the past century.
The Book of Revelation mentions instances of catastrophic earthquakes,
suggesting that the world will experience unprecedented seismic events.
Revelation 16.18.20 describes,
Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a severe earthquake.
No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth,
so tremendous was the quake.
The great city split into three parts, crumbling, and the cities of the nations collapsed.
God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of His wrath.
Every island fled away, and the mountains could not be found.
Similarly, Revelation 11.13 states,
At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed.
Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake,
and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
These scriptures describe cataclysmic global earthquakes,
far beyond the localized events experienced in Canada.
While Canada, particularly regions like British Columbia and the Pacific coast,
is susceptible to earthquakes due to its proximity to tectonic plate boundaries,
the seismic activity in Revelation portrays a cosmic event with global ramifications.
This suggests a significant eschatological event,
symbolizing the climax of prophetic visions rather than a mere geological occurrence.
To gain a deeper understanding of the situation,
it's essential to recall previous significant events associated with darkness.
Historically, God has used darkness as a sign during pivotal moments,
such as the ninth plague in Egypt and the crucifixion of Christ.
Some Christian leaders have interpreted these events
to support the belief that God employs eclipses as a divine signal.
Regarding the ninth plague in Egypt,
the darkness that enveloped the land for three days was not a solar eclipse,
as eclipses only last for a few minutes or seconds.
This darkness was a miraculous occurrence specifically directed by God,
as recorded in Exodus 10.21.23.
The Israelites were spared from this darkness,
further emphasizing its supernatural origin.
Similarly, during Jesus' crucifixion,
the Gospels recount that darkness covered the land from the sixth hour until the ninth hour,
which would be unusually long for a solar eclipse.
Moreover, Jesus died during Passover,
a time when the earth is between the sun and the moon,
making a solar eclipse impossible.
This darkness, like the ninth plague, was a divine act of God.
The Book of Revelation also speaks of significant events
marked by darkness and other catastrophic phenomena.
It describes the seven seals and seven trumpet judgments,
which foretell dramatic changes and tribulations for the world,
reminiscent of the plagues that struck Egypt.
These judgments are a series of divine interventions that impact humanity profoundly.
The first seal judgment introduces the Antichrist,
depicted as a rider on a white horse,
who goes forth to conquer the world.
This figure symbolizes deception and domination.
The second seal judgment brings widespread conflict,
represented by a rider on a red horse.
The Bible describes this judgment as removing peace from the earth,
causing people to slaughter one another,
symbolizing rampant violence and warfare.
In light of these historical and prophetic contexts,
the recent earthquake and solar eclipse in Canada
may evoke reflections on these biblical events.
While natural explanations can account for these occurrences,
they also serve as reminders of the powerful forces at play
and the profound impact of divine intervention throughout history.
Understanding these events in a broader context
highlights the need for preparedness and resilience
in the face of natural disasters.
As Canadians navigate the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami,
they draw strength from their community, faith, and history
to rebuild and move forward.
By examining these patterns and signs,
we gain insight into the challenges ahead
and the enduring human spirit that rises to meet them.
The arrival of the Antichrist marks the beginning of profound tribulations.
As depicted in the third seal judgment,
with the black horse symbolizing famine,
this period will be extraordinarily difficult.
The Bible states,
A quart of wheat for a denarius
indicating that a day's wage will barely cover the cost of basic food necessities.
This represents severe economic hardship
where people will struggle to earn enough to survive.
The fourth seal judgment introduces the pale horse,
symbolizing widespread mortality.
According to the Bible,
this judgment grants power over a fourth of the earth
to kill with the sword, hunger, death, and by the beasts of the earth,
representing a period of immense suffering and death.
During the fifth seal judgment,
God's people endure severe persecution on earth.
Meanwhile, in heaven,
the souls of the martyrs cry out to God,
asking,
How long, O Lord, holy and true,
until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
They are told to wait a little longer
and are given white robes as a sign of their righteousness.
The sixth seal judgment is marked by dramatic natural phenomena.
The Bible describes a great earthquake,
the sun turning as black as sackcloth,
and the moon becoming blood red.
Stars fall to the earth,
the sky recedes like a scroll,
and every mountain and island is removed from its place.
These events symbolize cosmic upheaval and widespread devastation.
The seventh and final seal judgment
is unique due to an extraordinary event.
Heaven falls silent for about half an hour.
Many interpret this silence as a profound pause,
a moment of awe before the unleashing of the final judgments upon the earth.
As we reflect on these apocalyptic visions,
it's essential to live our lives meaningfully,
cherishing each moment and making the most of every opportunity.
Let us love, forgive, and be kind to one another,
ensuring we leave no room for regrets.
Ultimately, it is not grand events or spectacular occurrences
that define our lives,
but the love, compassion, and kindness we extend to others.
In the face of uncertainties and challenges,
we find solace in the belief that God is always with us,
guiding, protecting, and blessing us.
Let our faith be our anchor,
and let our actions reflect the love and grace we have received.
As we witness the beauty of the cosmos,
let it remind us of the majesty of creation
and the infinite possibilities ahead.
In the end, Jesus will bring an end to the Battle of Armageddon,
mankind's most feared and dreaded war.
Until then, let us live with purpose,
embrace the love and guidance of God,
and remain steadfast in our faith amidst the trials of life.
After the Second Coming,
Jesus Christ himself will take his rightful seat upon the throne of David,
which will be established in Jerusalem
that might explain why Jerusalem is the most important city in the world at this hour,
perhaps because of its future significance in the world.
The Second Coming is spoken of as an awesome event
that will be extremely fearful for those in the world at that time.
The Bible also says that the sun shall be turned into darkness
and the moon into blood
before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord,
in Joel 2.31.
Unlike the rapture of the Church,
the Second Coming will disrupt the celestial cosmic heavens
and the earth will begin to shake at his coming.
With amazing drama,
his return will be globally witnessed by all peoples
and it will be a day of God's vengeance.
Once the Second Coming has occurred,
Jesus will begin to personally judge all those
who survived the terrifying events of the seven-year tribulation period.
Once enthroned,
he will separate the survivors
like a shepherd separates sheep from goats.
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
is his authoritative, kingly retaking of the earth
as scriptures teaches.
It would be better, my friend,
to trust Christ today
as we together look for the blessed hope
and the glorious appearing of our great God
and Savior Jesus Christ
rather than be part of the terrifying events
of the Second Coming.
Many people are curious about the Second Coming of Christ,
what it will be like,
when it will happen,
and what signs will come first.
In Come, Lord Jesus,
John Piper addresses all these issues
but stresses that those who love the Second Coming of Christ
will receive a crown of righteousness
in 2 Timothy 4, 6, 8.
Piper examines key biblical texts
around the Second Coming
while encouraging readers toward a Spirit-awakened affection
for Jesus' return.
He also explores important questions such as
Could Jesus come at any moment?
Or must certain events happen first?
What does it mean to watch for you know
neither the day nor the hour?
And what should we be doing
when he comes with a special focus on the teachings of Jesus,
Paul and Peter come?
Lord Jesus portrays not only
the glory of the revealed Savior
but also the glorification
of the resurrected saints.
A joyous time for God's people.
As the disciples watched Jesus ascend,
two angels appeared to encourage them.
Men of Galilee,
why do you stand gazing up into heaven?
This same Jesus
who was taken up from you into heaven
will so come in like manner as you saw him
go into heaven in Acts 1, 11.
This event
and this event only
will bring an end to the senseless killing,
wars and unrighteousness of humankind.
The government will be upon his shoulder
and his name will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government
and peace.
There will be no end upon the throne of David
and over his kingdom to order it
and establish it with judgment and justice
from that time forward, even forever.
Isaiah 9, 6, 7.
The return of Christ upon the earth
is what every believer yearns for
and eagerly awaits, a time of reckoning
and judgment. As far as
the inhabitants of the earth are concerned,
the second coming of Christ will not be a joyous
event, but one of terrible judgment.
Remember, believers will
already be with Jesus in heaven
and will come back with him.
Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands
of his saints to execute judgment on all,
to convict all who are ungodly
among them of all their ungodly deeds,
which they have committed in an ungodly
way, and of all the harsh things which
ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jude 14, 15.
This is the day when Jesus is finally
vindicated before everyone.
Every eye shall see him, every knee
shall bow, and every tongue
shall confess that Jesus is Lord and see
Philippians 2, 9, 11.
Even in this terrible time,
the hearts of men and women will be
hard and they will curse and blaspheme
God, though he has given them warning
of his impending judgment.
In the eyes of the nonbeliever,
God is never fair in what he does.
When people suffer
the consequences of flaunting God's grace
and breaking his commandments, they
blame God and call him unjust.
Believers will share in the Lord's glory.
If you are walking with the
Lord, rejoice.
Not only will you escape judgment,
but you will share in God's glorious return.
Colossians 3, 4.
When Christ, who is our life, appears,
then you also will appear with him in glory.
When Jesus was born
to humble earthly parents, he entered
the world in a place reserved for animals.
The events fulfilled
prophecies of the Messiah's arrival.
His birth was marked by simplicity,
vulnerability, and focus on
God's love for humanity.
In stark contrast, Christ's
glorious second coming is eagerly
anticipated as the fulfillment of his promise
to return. This momentous
event will be marked by majestic displays
of power and authority culminating in the
establishment of God's divine kingdom on earth.
Gratitude for both Jesus'
first and second comings is essential
because they represent distinct facets
of God's redemptive plan.
Christ's first coming, characterized by his
humble birth and sacrificial death,
serves as the foundation of our salvation.
Expressing gratitude for his
first coming acknowledges the immeasurable
love and grace in providing humanity
with a path to reconciliation.
Gratitude for Christ's second
coming, on the other hand, centers
on the anticipation of the ultimate redemption
and the restoration of all things.
While the first coming brought salvation
from the penalty and power of sin,
the second coming promises salvation
from the very presence of sin and the
persistent brokenness that plagues our world.
Both events are integral
to the Christian narrative, evoking
deep gratitude for God's endless
love and unwavering faithfulness.
Isaiah 9, 6
declares, For to us a child is
born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders,
and he will be called Wonderful
Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
As we meditate on
these words, we recognize Christ
as our Wonderful Counselor, whose
teachings provide guidance and wisdom for our
lives. Jesus was
and is the Mighty God. His
birth brought his divine presence to humanity.
Contemplating him
as the Everlasting Father invites us to
consider the eternal impact of his sacrifice
and our newfound familial relationship
with God. Lastly,
as the Prince of Peace, we find comfort
in the peace that Jesus' birth and salvation
bring to our lives and to the world.
Revelation 22,
12, 13 serves
as a heart-rending reminder.
Look, I am coming soon.
My reward is with me.
I will give each person according to
what they have done. I am the
Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last,
the beginning and the end. Our
Lord is coming soon.
As Seventh-day Adventists, we
anticipate Jesus' promised return with
hope and readiness. Jesus is
the Alpha and the Omega. There is no beginning
or end to Jesus' existence.
His role in creation and redemption
is the ultimate fulfillment of God's divine
plan. Comparing these two
significant events highlights the striking
contrast between Christ's humility
and exaltation. His birth displayed
his willingness to take part in the human
experience, while his second coming will
emphasize his ultimate authority and triumph
as the risen Lord.
Both events stand as pillars of the Christian
faith, demonstrating the full scope
of God's plan for salvation
and for the salvation and complete restoration
of humanity in the world.
Some dear folks say we have no commandments for the
Church. We have New Testament
commandments, any number of them,
even in Romans 12.
This is one of them.
Rejoice in hope.
The Lord does not say,
rejoice in faith, rejoice
in peace, rejoice in love, but
he does say, rejoice in hope.
Hope is a thing that can thrill our hearts as
nothing else can do. Hope is pointing
us not to a good thing in the future, but
to a good person. The New
Testament hope has to do with the blessed
coming of our great God and Savior,
Jesus Christ. I wish
to unfold to you certain reasons for rejoicing
in hope as I speak to you on this sevenfold
purpose of the Lord's coming.
You know the modernists say, why should
Jesus come again? We can do
without him. Some time ago I heard that
statement, we can do without him. Man,
by the law of development, has
advanced so far that he can do things without
the Lord Jesus Christ, and everything
is progressing. In the face
of the horrors of the last eight years,
in the face of all the blood
and tears that have been shed,
we have hundreds of men in the pulpit
who are preaching yet to the people the awful
stupidity that the world is getting better.
And they will say,
why should the Lord come again?
The mockers of the last days are upon us.
They are right in our midst.
I wish to give a sevenfold answer to that
question. Why?
Wherefore should the Lord come again?
May the Lord help us?
The Lord Jesus, beloved,
will come again for his own sake.
That is perhaps the primary reason why
he will come again. That is a reason
which is often forgotten by the dear people who
are looking and longing for him in the darkness.
He is coming again
for his own sake.
The king in the parable prepared a feast for his son.
God prepares the marriage
supper for the Lamb, not for the bride,
for the Lamb, our blessed Savior.
He is waiting above.
He is not idle while he is waiting,
but he is in the meanwhile praying for us.
This very moment, the
Lord Jesus is praying for us that our
faith may be kept up. At this
very moment, he is working for us.
He is preparing places
for us, but he is at the
same time waiting, beloved.
The angels of God are waiting.
The bride is waiting, and the Spirit is
waiting and praying with the bride, saying,
Come. Let us not forget
when we are praying for the Lord's coming and say,
Come, Lord Jesus. Yea,
come quickly, that we are praying for him,
that his joy may be fulfilled,
and that he may sit upon the throne of his glory
and rule as King of kings and Lord of lords.
When he comes,
he shall defend his own honor against his
enemies, all the liberalists who
deny his precious blood.
That is really an awful doctrine,
because almost half of our precious Bible is
as yet unfulfilled.
The patriarchs had been longing for the day
of the Messiah. Abraham
saw his day and was glad.
Enoch, even before
the flood, prophesied of his glorious
coming with his church, and Jacob
prophesied of the Shiloh, the restbringer,
the peacebringer, that the nation
shall be subject to the one that brings peace
and rest to the whole creation of God.
Thank you for watching and stay tuned
