The Hot Shot Ignition is a thumb trigger release that comes with the ability to convert it from a two finger to three finger to four finger handle.
Hey everybody, PJ Reilly, Lancaster Archery 2025 ATA show here in Indianapolis.
I am at the hotshot booth with Chris Oliver and Chris, we have a
brand new thumb button release here.
Tell us what it's called and why it's new and cool.
Yeah.
So what we have here is the hotshot ignition.
So new for 2025, all new platform here for us this year.
A lot thinner as far as the release goes here.
Fully adjustable on the trigger.
Every release here comes with this standard with either a two finger,
three finger or four finger attachment that can be swapped out.
You get all the parts in the package with it.
Yep.
You definitely will get all that in there.
And so now from your other ones, you were talking about the internals of this
release have been adjusted, changed, upgraded.
Tell us what it, what that does for the release.
Yeah.
So a lot of the changes in here internally just went to a different
composite steel, just a higher quality steel inside the release with also
upsizing all of the set screws in here, making them larger so you can really
torque down on those and not have to worry about stripping anything out on them.
And so it's set to fire, close the hook, and now you have a new, um, uh, D loop
retention on there, the little spring in the front.
Yeah.
So for those who like to hang that release on there or like to lock it down
right away, it has a gate system on here.
So we can go ahead here and, and, you know, just depress that and push
it on with it in the lock position.
While you got that up through the thumb barrel, you can adjust that many ways.
Yeah, so definitely.
So there's just a small set screw on the side here that will go ahead and loosen up.
I can slide that up and down on the post, rotate it where I want.
And then additionally, there's some additional adjustment here that I can
adjust.
So the finish on that is actually unique too, because it's got a texture to it.
It's kind of grippy.
It's not slippery.
Yeah.
So as opposed to all the other releases where they're anodized and more of a shiny
finish there, these are B-blasted and then anodized.
So it gives you that, that texture to them and just gives you that little grip.
Yeah.
A little bit of tact to it is how I would describe it.
All right.
The Hot Shot Ignition, brand new here at ATA 2025.
Chris, we appreciate your time.
Thank you very much.
