2025 Regular Session - Day 5 - Citation, Rep. James Tipton

thank you Mr Speaker uh I'm sure that many of you may not have known Tom Jones but he is a former member of this body having served in the House of Representatives from 1981 to 1990 he represented house district 55 which at that time included Anderson Mercer in Spencer County so he was my state representative for the time that he served and he passed away uh just a few weeks ago uh he was an attorney of many years in the city of lburg he is a uh served as attorney for the city of lburg the ner North Mercer water district uh he was a faithful member and and former deacon at the Lawrenceburg First Christian Church uh he uh Avid University of Kentucky fan and he is an honorable veteran of the United States Army and uh I we just want to wish uh best wishes and condolences to uh his wife and family on this loss Mr Speaker I move adoption
