2025 is your year to reset, refocus, and reinvent yourself.
This is going to be the year that you achieve all of your goals
and become the best version of yourself.
Coming from someone that would always create goals for myself every January 1st,
then by the time February would roll around,
all of those goals would be out the window.
Well, fast forward a few years later, my vision board has become my reality.
And you know why?
It's because I changed my mindset to create a clear plan with small,
disciplined actions that ended up creating the biggest results.
And I promise you, if I can do it, you can do it too.
It does not take an insanely gifted, talented person.
I certainly am not.
You just need the willingness to try.
Well, in this video, I'm going to share all of my secrets and tips
on how I achieved all of my goals
and teach you how to make 2025 your most successful year yet.
If you're new here, welcome.
My name is Lina.
I have a self-help series here on my channel
where we discuss all things becoming your best self.
So if you're not subscribed already...
What are you doing?
Okay.
What are you doing?
Go subscribe right now.
So first things first, own your fresh start.
This is going to be the year you crush all of your goals,
build disciplined habits, and step into the best version of you.
I want you to comment down below, claim,
if you claim this for yourself this year.
First things first, we have to start with your mindset.
2025 is a huge opportunity for you.
2025 is your blank slate.
Forget all of your past mistakes, your missed opportunities,
your setbacks, your failures of 2024.
This is your chance to rewrite your story and be whoever you want to be.
And a fresh start isn't about becoming like a completely different person.
It's about becoming a better version of yourself every day.
So this year, okay, listen to me.
We are going to be locked in in all of our goals.
So whatever happened in 2024, you had goals but forgot them.
You weren't consistent in the gym.
You got the worst grades ever in school.
It was your worst year financially.
You were struggling socially.
None of it matters.
None of that energy is going to be carried into this new year.
So literally, I want you to meditate on that.
Even if you have some self-doubt lingering inside, just claim it.
Claim it in the comments, comment down below, meditate it in your head, journal,
write about it, solidify it.
Whatever you got to do, inherently understand that this is going to be your year.
Let me tell you something.
Self-belief is so powerful.
Trust me when I say I used to struggle with the most self-doubt.
Back when I first started my YouTube channel and I was getting like three views on my videos
from my own burner account and my mom's account,
which I forced her to create to watch my videos,
I still remember the day I hit 60 subscribers.
And instead of being like, oh, I only have 60 subscribers,
I decided that day to change my mindset to celebrate every single achievement,
even though 60 subscribers, okay?
Because there was a time I was at two subscribers.
Self-belief, believing it, writing it down, saying it in my head,
that is what got me from 60 subscribers to now almost a million subscribers.
I'm your proof that self-belief is going to be your key to success this 2025.
Turn your past to lessons.
So I want you to look back on your year 2024 and not dwell on the past,
but to learn from it.
Before you even begin to start writing hundreds and hundreds of goals down for 2025,
you first need to reflect on your past.
So by reflecting on your past,
you are going to turn those past experiences into lessons for 2025.
So I want you to grab your journal, pull out your notes app on your phone,
write it down below in the comments,
anything that you can use to keep tabs and keep your memory on it.
I'm telling you, writing things down is so much more powerful
than just saying it out loud or just letting it float in your head.
Do you know how many thoughts we have in one day?
Which by the way, if you never journaled or you don't know how to,
don't worry, I got you.
This is my own guided journal.
I specifically made it as easy for you to stick to every single day.
This is the beautiful day-by-day journal.
It literally gives you step-by-step what you need to write to hold yourself accountable.
So there's daily wellness check-ins,
place to write your goals, your affirmations,
and the free write space where you could write the prompts I'm about to share with you.
And the one thing I didn't love about guided journals
is that they never give you a free write space so you could write whatever you want.
Don't worry, your girl got you.
I made sure to include a free write space so you could write down whatever you want,
which this journal is perfect for today
because I'm about to give you guys journal prompts to write on your own.
But yeah, I'm telling you, this is the best journal for 2025.
And I'm not just saying that because it's my own journal.
Journaling is the best investment into yourself.
I'm telling you, you will see your own progress firsthand.
So I'm gonna have these babies linked in my description for you guys.
I want you to answer these two prompts in your journal,
whether it's mine or you have your own.
What moments made you proud in 2024?
What habits held you back in 2024?
And if you're someone that's like,
I had a horrible 2024, I'm not proud of anything I did.
No, okay?
Get that negative energy, get it out of here.
So fun fact, 2024 was arguably my worst year of my life.
The real ones already know the story,
but I was going through so many health issues
and my mental health was just horrible.
I was experiencing all these crazy symptoms,
like my hair falling out, acne blew up all over my face.
It was cystic acne, so it hurt so much.
I had extreme fatigue.
So no matter how much sleep I would get,
I would wake up exhausted every day.
I had constant painful bloating.
It would look like I was literally pregnant.
And then I was diagnosed with PCOS.
So I had to go on this whole healing journey.
I went on a really strict diet,
made a lot of different lifestyle changes,
saw some improvement, but then I had to take antibiotics
for an eye infection I had.
And then shortly after that, I had rashes all over my body.
It would literally keep me up at night
because I was so itchy everywhere.
And so yeah, basically I was dealing
with all these health issues
for almost the entire year of 2024.
But thank God I've been recently seeing
so much improvement the last month.
But yeah, anyway, I'm someone that's very health conscious.
Like I'm so crazy about my health.
I work out five times a week.
I eat very healthy.
I work really hard to be healthy.
And so feeling like my own body was giving up on me
and just I had no control over my body's health.
It just took a huge toll on me.
And because of my skin and the other symptoms,
I barely left my apartment.
Like I was in my anti-social era.
I was inconsistent on YouTube
because I hated filming my skin
and seeing the mean comments about my skin.
And I just had a lot of dark days in 2024.
Mentally, physically, I was bedrotting a whole lot.
Doom scrolling, just feeling bad for myself.
So there's a reason why I'm sharing all this.
It's because I could go into the perspective into 2025
and to be like, 2024 sucked.
It was my worst year.
I'm not proud of myself.
I took a lot of losses.
But no, I'm going in with the perspective.
I'm still so, so proud of myself.
I'm nearly at a million subscribers on YouTube,
which if you're not subscribed already,
what are you doing?
Go subscribe right now.
Road to 1 million.
We're literally almost there.
Maybe by the time you're watching this, I already hit it.
But yeah, considering all my health issues I experienced,
I still did the best that I could.
And the growth on YouTube shows that.
I started doing other workouts like Pilates.
I got stronger in the gym.
Saw a lot of results.
I created my very own self-development community
of a bunch of like-minded girlies,
which we are currently at over 37,000 members.
So I helped 37,000 plus people find a community
to help love and support them on their wellness journey.
We used to be ranked at number 292 when I first created it.
And in just three months, we were ranked at number three.
I learned how to cook and actually be good at it.
There was a time I literally couldn't even cook an egg.
I got through my health problems.
I was vulnerable.
I cried about it on YouTube even.
I helped other people experiencing acne, PCOS
to feel less alone.
So yeah, even though I had a quote unquote bad year,
I still technically had a great year.
So I want you to really take the time to think and think deep
about all the moments that you are proud of
and pat yourself on the back for it.
And we all also have habits that we are not the most proud of
that we know are not the best for us.
For example, going through all that,
I wanted to just escape all my emotions.
So I would just constantly doom scroll on my phone all the time.
I would compare myself, my life, my skin to everyone else
who looked so much happier than me.
You know, I had not a lot of great habits.
I would skip my workouts based on how I felt that day,
which most of the time I didn't feel great.
So yeah, I would say that I did not have a lot of great habits
and I want to make sure I do not take that into 2025.
Build habits, not just goals.
So there's a saying that goals are the destination,
but habits are your vehicle.
And that is so true, okay?
As we are all writing down our 2025 goal list,
I want you to write your goals down,
but also make sure that you write a habit with it
that you are going to stick to underneath it.
Because let me be real with you,
there's no point in writing down thousands of goals
if you have absolutely no game plan to actually execute it.
So if you can't write a goal down with a habit underneath,
I want you to knock her off the list.
So for example, if you want to save $10,000,
the habit you write underneath it is to have a spending tracker
and track your spending weekly.
If you want to be healthier,
the habit will be to move your body daily.
And I honestly recommend writing 5 to 10 goals max.
I'm just someone, I need that maximum
or else I will write hundreds of goals down
and probably end up giving up on all of them.
So yeah, I recommend having some structure
and allow yourself to only focus on 5 to 10
so that you really nail those down.
And once you do, it's up to you.
You can add on more along the way.
And I feel like that's just way more sustainable.
Design your vision board for 2025.
Okay, so this is the fun part.
Ask yourself, who do you want to be when 2025 ends?
What does your life look like?
And I want you to visualize it in detail.
Your accomplishments, your habits,
what your apartment is going to look like.
If you want to be a content creator,
what camera you're going to get.
Like every minute detail, even how you feel.
And this isn't about like daydreaming, okay?
This is actually going to be your blueprint.
And I'm telling you,
when you can actually see it all clearly,
your dreams, your goals,
you will start building to make it happen.
The clearer your vision is,
the more focused you will be on your actions.
And there's just something so powerful
about not just knowing what your goal is,
but seeing what it will look like in real life.
And I personally love doing my vision boards online.
So that way I can set it as my phone wallpaper,
my laptop screensaver,
and just pull it up whenever I want.
And if you're anything like me
and you're a super visual person,
maybe you also struggle to keep your life kind of organized
or you're forgetful about projects,
homework, appointments.
I want to put you guys onto my favorite app.
It's called X-Tiles.
If you don't know about it already,
it is like the ultimate personal productivity app.
It makes staying on top of things so much easier.
And I love that X-Tiles allows you to do everything
from weekly planning,
notes, setting goals,
and even creating a vision board.
And I'm telling you,
it's like the perfect place to create your 2025 goals
and your vision board
because it is so customizable.
And I'm such a visual person
and the drag and drop features
helps make organizing such a breeze.
And you can really customize it to your own style,
which I love.
I'm someone, if it looks boring,
I am not looking at it.
So adding my own flavor and touch
has been honestly like so fun.
I've actually found that it's easier to use than Notion.
If you're familiar with Notion,
you could create a to-do list for yourself
or really map out your 2025 vision board,
but in a very organized way.
I love that it just makes things look
so aesthetically pleasing.
If it's your goal to be more organized this year
with weekly planning,
notes,
setting your 2025 goals
or new year's resolutions,
I highly, highly recommend you download X-Tiles.
And you can actually download X-Tiles today
with the link in my description
and experience the perfect blend of organization
and creative freedom for yourself.
The secret to success is to be intentional.
So the difference between just surviving in life
and thriving is truly intentionality.
Stop letting life just happen to you.
Really ask yourself,
what do I want in 2025?
Every goal and action you choose to do this year
should align with your deeper purpose.
So I want you to look on your 2025 goal list
and your vision board
and reflect on whether each goal,
each visual truly has purpose and intention.
So a big thing for me that I realized is
before when I was creating my new year's resolutions
and my vision board,
I would always put things on there
that honestly didn't really have
a lot of intention behind it.
If I was being honest with myself,
I didn't really feel that strongly about it.
I just wrote it or added it on my vision board
because other people were doing it.
So I really had to ask myself,
what is my deeper purpose in life?
Which is really deep, I know,
but hear me out.
What gives me purpose is inspiring other people
to strive to be their best selves every day.
So every goal that I wrote down
for my 2025 goal list,
the intention behind that
is to be the best version of me
and to help inspire others.
My journal business,
The Day By Day Journal
is meant to help people
to be on their own self-development journey.
And I just firmly believe
that when your goals and your dreams
have intentionality behind it,
that it does good for yourself and for others,
it will inevitably come true.
So try to be really intentional
with your time and your goals
and make sure that every goal aligns
with you and that greater purpose.
Break free from your comfort zone.
So your comfort zone, it feels good.
Okay, it's comfortable, it's cozy, it's safe.
But let me tell you,
nothing ever grows from staying in there.
So that growth that you want to see in 2025,
all the goals that you want to achieve,
your dream life, your dream self,
all of that lies behind
your fear of trying something new.
So whether it's starting that side hustle,
joining a new community,
putting yourself out there,
saying yes to an opportunity that scares you,
growth will only happen
when you lean into that discomfort
and you are just so much more capable than you think.
So I want you to ask yourself,
what are some ways I can break free of my comfort zone?
So I'm gonna be so honest,
starting my journal business
was actually a huge break from my comfort zone
because number one,
your girl has never started a business before.
So I had no idea what I was doing.
Number two, I was so scared of like failure
and you guys not liking the journal.
But you know, I took the leap.
I went into the unknown
and I figured out how to create the perfect journal.
I literally just immersed myself.
I designed it all myself.
It literally took a full year
of me designing this to perfect it.
It was all worth it
because so many of you have told me
that you love my journal
and there's over 100 five-star reviews
and it just truly has become
a huge passion project of mine.
Another example is
when I first started my fitness journey,
it was a huge break from my comfort zone
because I had such bad gym anxiety.
I didn't know how to work out at all.
Every time I would walk into the gym,
it felt like everybody was staring at me
and judging me and making fun of me
because I had no idea what I was doing.
And I broke out of my comfort zone
by showing up anyway,
learning how to work out.
Now I am very confident in the gym
and I've seen amazing results.
Another example is going to influencer events.
I still don't go to a lot of them,
don't get me wrong.
But at first I wouldn't go to them at all
because I felt like such a fraud.
I felt really insecure being there
because I still really struggle
with imposter syndrome
and I just feel really out of place
when I go to those type of events.
But through pushing myself
and going to those events anyway,
I met so many great people,
amazing people that I'm still friends with to this day.
And all that stemmed from me pushing myself
going to those events
and striking conversations up with random people.
And I'm telling you,
the day you realize that the only way to grow
is to push yourself out of your comfort zone,
you will literally see your life transform
before your eyes.
Follow the 1% rule.
Let me tell you something,
change does not need to be huge to be meaningful.
That's why I always say to follow the 1% rule.
So this means if you strive to improve yourself
just 1% every single day,
by the end of the year,
you'll be so much better and stronger
than when you first started.
And that is truly the power of compounding effort.
It's not about trying to do everything all at once
and be perfect.
It's about doing the small things consistently.
And it's really easy to look on your 2025 goal list
and be super overwhelmed.
Like how the heck am I going to get all this done?
So that's why I really say to just focus on that 1%.
So for example,
if you usually skip your workouts
when you don't really feel like going to the gym,
but that day you decided,
even though I feel like crap,
I'm going to go anyway and show up for myself.
That is that 1% improvement.
If you decided to skip hanging out
with your friends late at night
because you know you have an early morning tomorrow,
that is that 1% improvement.
So when you go day by day,
just focus on that 1% of effort.
I'm telling you the whole year will pass
and you will see so much growth.
Think big, start small.
So this really leads me to my point
that you want to dream big, but start small.
So truly think about the life that you want this 2025.
So those big dreams that you have
require small actionable steps.
You want to write a book?
Start by writing 10 minutes a day.
You want to run a marathon this year?
Begin with one mile every week.
Big results stem from those small starts.
So just focus on what you can do today
and I promise you those big wins will follow.
Energy is everything.
Let me tell you, energy is the fuel for your goals.
So you want to prioritize that.
And that includes sleep.
Okay, sleep is not a luxury.
It is a necessity.
So make sure you get your seven to eight hours of sleep.
Moving your body is not just about fitness.
It's about staying energized and being clear-minded.
And this also means protect your energy by saying no
to the things that you know will drain you
and saying yes to things that fill your own cup.
So we as humans, we make so many decisions throughout our day.
We are constantly giving our energy
to the people that we interact with.
Every event we go to, every meeting we're in,
every class we go to,
you really have to think of your energy as limited
because it really is.
And you cannot expect to have the energy
to pour into yourself if you're constantly giving
and giving and giving to everything and everyone.
So be intentional with your time and your energy.
Fuel it with self-care days.
And this means also don't be afraid to say no
to people that want to hang out with you.
2025 is all about execution
and you can only execute if you have the energy to.
Your mindset is your superpower.
I'm sure you've already heard this,
but your thoughts shape your reality.
If you truly believe you're stuck in life,
you will stay stuck.
If you believe that you're a failure,
you will remain a failure.
But if you believe you are capable of changing,
I'm telling you doors will start opening.
So really shift your mindset from I have to do this
to I get to do this.
I get to go to the gym and move my body.
I get to go to class and learn something new.
I get to eat food that nourishes my health.
Life is all about perspective
and you truly need to have the perspective
that life is working for you, not against you.
Every challenge is an opportunity in disguise.
Every failure is a lesson.
Rejection is only redirection.
And when you start to actually believe this,
like in your core,
you will see your life transform this new year.
And by the way,
if you want to surround yourself with like-minded people
that are on the same journey as you this 2025,
I highly, highly recommend
that you join my online community.
It is filled with a bunch of girlies
that are on their self-development journey,
just like you.
And I love all the people in there.
We're all just there uplifting each other,
motivating each other,
hyping each other up.
And the Day By Day Club is at over 37,000 members now.
Crazy, crazy.
In just a few months, like it is literally crazy.
And having a supportive community
is just gonna help you stay accountable this year.
They're gonna help you stay consistent and motivated
because I know when I first started
my self-development journey,
I was completely alone.
I didn't have friends at the time.
So it was honestly that much harder
trying to stay consistent.
So that's why I created this free online community
for you guys,
because I want you to stay on that journey
and not feel alone.
So yeah, those of you who want 2025 to be your year,
feel free to join the community
and have a bunch of girlies on that same path with you.
I'm gonna have my community linked in my description.
So go join ASAP.
Define success on your own terms.
This is so important, guys.
Stop letting society define success for you.
Stop letting social media define success for you.
Stop letting that girl in your class
that seems to have the perfect life,
the perfect rich family,
perfect grades,
a bunch of friends,
things handed to her,
boys liking her.
Don't let her define success for you.
Don't let that random influencer
that you see on social media
that you think has the perfect life
and the perfect body.
Don't let her define success for you.
You know, it's not about having
the perfect high-paying job
and the biggest house or the fanciest life.
It's about what makes you feel fulfilled and proud.
Maybe it's deep relationships,
the freedom to travel,
mastering a skill that you've always loved.
It's so important to define success on your own terms.
And this is something I really had to learn in 2024
because girl,
when I was going through it,
I would compare myself to other people every single day.
Girls with clear skin,
like why do I have to deal with acne?
There's girls that have perfectly clear skin.
Other girls on social media
who had way more followers and likes than me.
Girls that are getting dream partnerships
with dream brands
that I've always wanted to work with.
I had to really remind myself
and sit myself down and humble myself
and be like,
girl, your life now is success on your terms.
Listen, I came from being a broke college student,
barely affording my rent every month,
living in a room with no windows
to living in my dream place
with my dream career,
an amazing partner,
amazing family.
And I'm telling you,
if you go based on other people's view of success
and not your own,
you will never be happy
because you will always be chasing the next thing
and the next thing and the next thing.
And I hate to admit it, okay?
I'm being vulnerable here.
It is so easy for me to go on social media
and see another super successful influencer
who is going on these super cool brand trips
and wearing designer bags
and having millions and millions of followers.
Like, and I look at her and I'm like,
wow, she's so successful.
You know, she is successful
and that is amazing for her.
But I had to ask myself,
what is my own definition of success
coming from my own experiences?
And I personally come from a family of immigrants.
Okay, my parents immigrated here from Korea
with no papers, no money.
My dad was a taxi driver.
My mom worked at a nail salon.
I had zero money to my name
when I was going into college.
I was on a half scholarship,
but I also had to take thousands of dollars of loans out
to pay for the rest.
So my definition of success
is being able to financially support myself
and my family.
And guess what?
I did that.
I was able to pay off my student loans
in full by myself.
I don't need to have all the designer bags
or drive a fancy car
because honestly,
I don't care about those things.
And coming from where I come from,
YouTube and this life that I have,
the financial stability,
that is the biggest success.
And I am so, so grateful
and thankful to be in this position.
And it is all truly thanks to you guys.
And I do not go a day
without giving thanks
and just being grateful.
I genuinely have the most amazing,
supportive online community
who loves me and supports me.
And I love you guys.
Like that is priceless.
There was a time in college,
I would literally cry in my dorm on a Friday night
because I had no friends to hang out with.
Like I have online friends
that I talk to every single day.
That is priceless.
That is success to me.
So ask yourself,
what does success truly look like for you?
Focus on progress, not perfection.
Perfection is a trap, okay?
Stop waiting for the right time,
the perfect opportunity to start.
Instead, focus on progress.
Focus on those little wins.
And each day that you try,
that is victory.
That is progress.
Each day that you convince yourself
that you are going to do it,
you're just waiting for the perfect timing.
I'm telling you,
you are only failing yourself.
And it's important to remember
that progress is messy
and it's imperfect.
Do you know how many days
I've skipped my workouts
during my fitness journey?
And guess what?
Here I am still five years later
on my fitness journey.
Do you want to know how many times
I wanted to give up
because I saw no growth in YouTube?
So many times, okay?
There are going to be inevitable days
on your journey this 2025
when you want to give up.
But you just have to keep on reminding yourself
that every day you are making progress
and you are doing the best you can.
And success does not happen in just a week.
Celebrate your journey.
So you do not need to wait
till the end of 2025
to celebrate your wins.
Every little step that you take
deserves acknowledgement and celebration.
Did you stick to a habit for a whole week?
Celebrate.
Did you hit a new milestone
growing your social media career?
Celebrate.
Showing gratitude for your own progress
will keep you motivated
and show you how far you've come.
I'm someone, I love rewards, okay?
I need to be incentivized to do things.
And it can be as little as,
since I did this,
I'm going to treat myself
with my favorite dessert tonight.
Since I did this,
I'm going to have a self-care day.
It's so, so important to celebrate yourself
and your wins
because we are our own worst critic.
We are very good at telling ourselves
what we fail to do,
what we're not good at,
what we need to do better.
But we are not really good
at being our own cheerleader
and that's genuinely what you need to be.
So don't be afraid to celebrate yourself
and cheer yourself on.
Reinvest in yourself.
All 2025, okay?
Make yourself the priority.
Invest in your own growth.
So this means learning a new skill,
taking time for self-care,
reading a book that inspires you,
watching a video that inspires you.
I always say this, but it's so true.
You are your own best investment.
Self-care and doing things that you love,
feeding yourself knowledge,
that is always going to invest and multiply.
Start now, not later.
So I don't care what time of the year
you are watching this video.
Maybe it's the end of December,
maybe it's January 1st,
February, March, April, whatever.
It does not matter.
Start today.
Whether it's writing down your goals
or committing to a new habit
or just deciding that 2025
is going to be your year,
action will always beat perfection every time.
The sooner you start,
the sooner you're going to see results.
So don't wait.
Your future self is waiting for you
to start and start now.
So yeah, now that you have all the tools
to make 2025 your best year yet,
I'm really, really excited
to share something special with you guys.
It's something very special
that I have been working on
for a very long time.
So many of you have been loving
my wellness journals
and my online self-help community
for your own self-development journey.
And a lot of you have actually been asking
for a digital tool.
Well, I've listened
and I've actually been creating an app.
And this little shout out
is only for the real ones
that want exclusive behind the scenes content
and like updates of me creating that app.
So yeah, if you want to see that,
you can visit kove.so
or the link in my description
and you will get an inside look
to that whole process
and be one of the first to use it
and see it all come to life.
I'm really, really excited.
But yeah, I really hope this video helped.
And if you want 2025 to be your year,

so we can hype each other up.
I'll also have my community link
to my description for you guys.
I love you guys so, so much.
And I hope to catch you in my next video.
Bye guys.
