Hi! My name is Jessica, I'm from England, and I'm learning Russian by myself.
Today I want to talk about the progress of my Russian, why I'm learning Russian, and so on.
Let's go!
Okay, why am I learning Russian? Why did I choose such a difficult language as Russian?
If someone is from England, maybe German or French is more useful.
Why Russian? I'm learning Russian because of my boyfriend.
My boyfriend is from Kazakhstan, and we usually speak English, sometimes Chinese,
but I want to speak to him in Russian because Russian is his native language.
How long have I been learning Russian? It can be difficult to say.
I started learning Russian last year, in February.
You could say a year, but I didn't study for a whole year.
From February to July, I studied four times a week.
At the end of July, I went home because of my sister's wedding.
I was at home for two months, and I didn't study anything, absolutely nothing.
In October, I started learning Russian again.
Yes, my progress.
I speak Russian not very well, but also not very bad.
I can talk about simple things, but when I speak spontaneously,
I speak very slowly, slower than now.
I need a lot of time to think, and I always make a lot of mistakes, but it's okay.
I'm still learning Russian.
My goal. This year, my goal is level B2.
I hope I can do it.
Yes, that's all. Bye-bye!
