Hey guys, and welcome to the Sora Masterclass, where you're going to learn everything you
need to know about creating AI-generated videos.
In this tutorial, we're going to cover three different examples together, so we can master
everything when it comes to Sora.
First off, we're going to dive into the absolute basics of working with Sora, and we're going
to go off and create a few different examples of a pretty-looking woman at a cafe.
Once we have our bearings with the basics, we're going to hop over to our second example
where we're going to dive deep into Sora's remixing tool, which allows us to make changes
to our previously-generated AI videos.
I'm super excited for this example, because you're going to learn how to create an AI-generated
version of yourself dancing, just like this one, and you're going to see how we can actually
make changes to it, such as changing the person and actually changing the background.
Super excited for you to see this.
Then, third but not least, we're going to dive into our final example, where we're going
to cover storyboards inside of Sora.
In this feature, we're allowed to combine multiple AI-generated video clips together
to produce some amazing content, and I'm super excited for this example, because you're going
to see how we're going to make an intro to a YouTube channel using this new AI storyboard
feature.
Super excited for you guys to see all this.
I have a ton of free tips, comments, and some free GPTs that I've included for you guys
throughout the rest of this video, so let's go ahead and dive into creating your first
AI-generated video with Sora.
Oh, and real quick, I forgot to mention, if you're looking for additional support on your
AI projects, I've created a free school community members for people just like you.
We have over 4,000 members rocking strong, and in the community, we have weekly coaching
calls completely for free, and we help each other out.
We'd love for you to join the party with us.
More information down in the link below, but enough of that, let's go ahead and hop back
over to Sora.
All right, guys, so welcome to part number one, where we're going to focus on making
your first awesome AI video.
What we're going to do is, first, just go through the basics of making a prompt to make
a video, and then, second, I'm going to show you guys a custom tool I've made for you guys
to make your life 1,000 times easier when it comes to generating awesome AI videos.
First things first, right now, we're over in Sora, and what you can see is down here
at the bottom of your screen, you have a section where you can upload your prompt to create
your video.
You have a few custom controls, such as you can click this button to add some presets.
You can then click the ratio, so do you want it horizontal, do you want it square, or do
you want it vertical?
Next, you have the option to pick which resolution you want, and different resolutions come at
different speeds.
Finally, you get to pick which of the different durations you want to, and then, finally,
you get to pick how many variations you'd like per clip.
To start, what we're going to do is just put in a super basic prompt.
We're just going to say, I'd like to make an AI video of a beautiful woman sitting outside
of a cafe.
Now, we're going to go ahead and spin this off, and you'll be able to see your active
jobs in the top right-hand corner.
You can see, if you click on it, you'll say, oh, we're making a new video, preparing, and
if you're on the basic plan, the $20 a month, you can only make one video at a time, and
if you're on the pro plan, the $200 a month, you can do up to five videos in parallel.
One of the things I want to show you next is a custom GPT that I've made for you guys
to make your life a thousand times easier at making awesome video prompts.
Let me show you.
I struggle hard at creating good prompts, so this is a free GPT that I've made for you
guys, and what you can do is just say, generate a prompt for, and you can paste in what you
would like.
Then, what it'll do is it'll go off, and it's actually trained to think like a professional
video director, and it'll show two parts to you.
Part one, it's going to ask some clarifying questions, such as, you have a scene in your
head, and it's going to ask a few questions like, hey, did you want that woman sitting
outside during the day, the afternoon, at sunset, and basically just going to ask a
bunch of clarifying questions to help get the ideas going for what you possibly would
want to do in the prompt.
That's part one, and part two is it'll actually just go ahead and put a full prompt together
based on probably some of the most active things that you were thinking about.
This is like, if we were professional video directors, this is actually what we would
write as a prompt to make beautiful AI videos.
It converted ours over to like, oh, you actually probably wanted a beautiful woman sitting
gracefully outside at a quaint cafe in a busting city near sunset.
She's sipping her coffee while gazing thoughtfully into the distance, surrounded by warm golden
light.
The setting is alive with soft chatter and clinking of glasses framed by lush greenery
at a bistro tables, and the style is romantic and cinematic.
That's 10,000 times better than what I could ever come up with on my own, so I've been
loving using this GPT, and we'll actually compare and contrast some of these side by
side.
Let's go ahead and hop back over, and we'll go ahead and paste in this updated prompt
too, just so we can compare and contrast.
While that's running, let's go ahead and look at what AI was able to do for us.
You can see if we just ... I'm going to show you something real fast.
If you just put your cursor over on both, you can see both video variations going at
once, and you can actually, if you want to see one in detail, you can go ahead and click
the video, and it'll pop it up to full screen, and you can actually see it in better detail.
Now, there are some things that we're going to focus on later on, such as editing our
prompt, putting a story, blending different items together, and then remixing.
We're going to focus on all these later, so I just want to show you the basics in this
one.
If you do like the video that was generated, what you can always do is come up to the top
and click download.
If you want to download it and share it.
The other option is if you just want to share a link to a friend real fast, you can go ahead
and actually just click share, and it'll actually create a link that you can go off
and share with your friends.
That's a pretty nice way to get around it.
Then finally, what you can also do is come in here and click the heart button.
What this will do is it'll make it easier later on when you're searching back through
your videos to look at like, oh, I only want to look at my favorites.
Let's go ahead and look at the other one real fast, and I do want to call out a few things.
Here's the second video.
One thing that it does struggle with still is you can kind of see her hand is a little
messed up.
That's just one of the quirks of Sora.
You can see her hand is backwards, so it really struggles with physics and hands, and they
don't always put the coffee in their mouth.
They miss sometimes, bad accuracy, but all around, it actually does do pretty well.
It's still generating our video, so I do just want to go ahead and show you some of the
previous examples.
This is using same GPT from beforehand, but you can kind of see it does a really good
job of setting a nice background, her sipping.
This is all because of the GPT.
You can see for the second one too.
Once again, I think it just does a much better job of setting the scene, make sure to focus
on the main character.
Our current one is almost done, so let's go ahead, pause real fast, and once it's ready,
I'll go ahead and show it to you.
All right, so we just finished loading our updated versions of the fancy prompt we just
created, so you can see if I hover over it now.
I think it does a really good job of just like, this is kind of what I was focusing
on in my head.
I was like, there's a woman at a cafe, she's drinking coffee, it's a cool background.
That's as far as I can actually describe these prompts, so I'm so glad this GPT makes our
lives a thousand times easier and actually converting our basic instructions into something
really nice that Sora understands and just goes off and crushes.
I'll have a link to that free GPT, and I'll also have a link to the prompt underlying
the GPT itself, so if you want to go off and make some changes to it, you'll be able to
do that on your own.
Link down in the description below.
All right, let's go ahead and hop over to part number two, where you're going to start
learning how to remix the videos that you create to add in changes and make your videos
10 times cooler.
All right, let's go and hop onto that next.
All right, guys, welcome to part number two, where you're going to learn how to use the
remix tool to edit previously generated videos.
What we're going to do in this one is we're going to make an AI version of ourself dance,
and then we're going to use a remix tool so you can see how we can change different parts
of the video.
First things first, let's go ahead and upload a picture of ourself.
I just took a picture of me, and I'm just going to go ahead and drop in a prompt, say,
know, basically just moving everything.
One of the things that is important when you're actually uploading a picture of yourself is
the more your prompt aligns with what's already happening inside of the picture, the better.
Just one helpful tip.
We're going to go ahead and generate.
In this case, we're going to do four video variations, each 10 second long, and we're
going to go ahead and generate it.
The other thing is the way I took this picture vertically, I went ahead and updated my aspect
ratio to be vertical because if it was horizontal, it would look funny like that.
This is looking good.
Let's go ahead and start generating this, and it'll take about 30 seconds, 40 seconds
to go off and generate those four variations that we're going to start editing using the
remix tool.
All right, guys.
It just finished recording all the four different variations of me breakdancing, and I can say
even with the help of AI, I still suck at dancing.
One thing I want to show you real fast is what the outputs of this were.
Let's go ahead and hover over.
You can see this is what it was able to create.
On the left, it actually changed me from a white guy to a black guy.
On the right, it didn't do a good job of keeping the same scene.
It was hopping between different settings, like a white room, a yellow room.
I don't know.
I'm not a big fan of it.
The middle two are actually pretty close, but I'm a bigger fan of this one.
Let's go ahead and click it, open it up.
One thing that you'll notice right now inside of the clips, it actually does a pretty good
job.
The one thing that I don't like about these types of clips is the fact that it goes off,
and at the very beginning, it just shows my picture, and then it hops over to dancing.
We're going to hop into remixing, but I just want to show you how you can actually tighten
this up to be a lot nicer.
What you're going to do is click Recut.
First, once you recut, you're going to hop to the part in the video where it starts actually
with the actual dancing.
This is the part we're going to keep.
Once we have the part we want to keep, we're going to go ahead and click Create.
This way, it's like one continuous shot of me dancing versus that photo, then dance.
Let's go ahead and click Create.
What this is going to do is it's going to go off and actually generate that version
of the base video that we want to have, and then from there, we're going to be able to
remix it to add in subtle changes, mild changes, and extreme strong changes.
You're going to see that all in just one second after we get this updated version up and running
perfectly.
All right, guys.
It just wrapped up creating the new versions where it cut out the image at the beginning.
Let me just show you what it looks like now.
What's going to happen is if you look at the very beginning of all of these clips, it basically
just pre-filled it in that one and a half second.
That's exactly what we wanted.
Now, let's just go ahead and click ... Let's just see.
All the ends are the same, so let's just go ahead and click this one.
What we're pretty much going to do is we're now going to start worrying about how to use
the Remix tool.
Like I said earlier, the Remix tool gives you a few options.
You have the ability to make a subtle change, which is just a very minor tweak that you
want to make to the original video.
You have the ability to make a mild change, which is going to be a little bit more noticeable,
and then finally, you can make a strong change, which is significant.
Let's go ahead and do a few of these examples so you can see what remixing actually looks
like in action.
Let's go ahead and start off by making a subtle change.
We're going to say, please remove the glasses from the dancer.
All right, so that's the first change, and then we're going to generate two variations
of that.
We're going to go ahead and click Remix.
Next, what we're going to do is start working on a mild change, which is going to be a little
bit more noticeable.
For this one, we're going to say, please make the dancer a white female dancer with long
black hair.
Reason I'm adding this is because any time, if you just say, make the dancer a female
dancer, it's going to do its best to contort my face to a female, and it's going to struggle.
The more details you can provide about the prompt, so like, hey, it's not just a woman.
It's a beautiful woman.
She has long hair.
The better job it'll do.
If you don't do that from just practicing myself, you'll see that it really struggles,
and it's just gross.
Honestly, what it makes is just gross looking.
Let's go ahead and make a mild remix next, and then finally, what we're going to do is
work on making a new strong remix.
The strong remix, just one more time, what allows it to do is make significant changes.
For this time, we're going to say to actually, instead of dancing in a house, let's actually
go off and dance in the streets of New York.
We're going to say, please make the dancer dance in the New York City streets instead
of a house.
We're going to go ahead and generate all three of those different remixes, and then finally,
I do just want to show you a little bit of extra things that you can do.
If you want to get down in the weeds, you have the ability to custom set the remix strength.
You can come in here, and it'll show a subtle changes of three, a mild of five, and a strong
of seven.
You can actually get really fine-tuned with how much you actually want to make tweaks.
We're going to give it a few more seconds to go off and finish generating each one of
different new generated videos with the remix tool, and I'm excited to show you guys the
results, so one second.
All right, guys, so I just finished wrapping up all of the three different remixes that
we just created, so I'm going to walk you through them real fast and just give some
feedback on what it just did.
First things first was dropping the glasses using a subtle remix.
I'm going to be honest, I am not a huge fan of Sora with subtle remixes.
Usually doesn't work, and then B, it adds this weird effect to where it makes everything
a little bit more fuzzy, so I'm hoping you guys can see it, but it just adds weird texture
on top of it, so I haven't been able to get subtle remixes to work properly yet.
If you guys have, please let me know, but I just want to show you it's supposed to work,
but for some reason, I can't get it to.
All right, now let's go to the next one, which was a mild remix where we changed me to a
girl dancing, so let's go ahead and look at these together.
You can see, first off, it actually did do a girl with long black hair dancing, so overall,
it did pretty good.
For some reason, though, I did say I'm a white dude, so I was trying to keep somewhat similar,
so you can see it didn't listen to that instruction perfectly, so that's just kind of why you
need to do a bunch of variations just so you don't have total control over Sora.
It doesn't listen perfectly to what you say to do, but overall, it actually did pretty
good.
She's dancing, long black hair.
It's the same dance, it's just a different head, so all around, that's actually pretty
cool in my opinion.
All right, next, what we're going to do is then hop over to the final one, which is like,
hey, I was dancing in a house, now actually make me go dance in the middle of New York
City, so let me just show you what it did.
All around, it's supposed to go ahead and say, yeah, I'm dancing in New York, and then
it kind of does a weird transition to where I'm dancing back in the hallway.
You could probably do it a little bit more clear, like, hey, I'm dancing with people
walking by, but you can see it did do ... The majority of the change was like, put me in
a city, so I just should have been a little bit more clear saying, put me in a city and
make me dance in the middle of the streets.
All around, it's actually pretty cool that you can actually fine-tune your AI videos,
and you can just keep tweaking them over and over and over, so if you think this one's
better, you can just remix this one again, and you can just remix on your remixes, so
you can end up with some really cool stuff, but yeah, that's a wrap for the remix section,
so now let's go ahead and work on part three, where we're going to start working on putting
together videos using the storyboard, and we're actually going to make a YouTube intro,
and I'm super excited to show you how we're going to create a YouTube intro using storyboard,
so let's go ahead and hop over to part number three.
All right, guys, welcome to part number three, where we're going to start working with Sora
storyboards to help generate longer custom clips, and in this case, we're going to be
using storyboards to generate a YouTube intro for this channel right here.
Okay, so let me show you a little bit of what I've done so far to help set the stage.
So first things first is I went off and used the custom GPT that I talked about earlier
to help create some prompts for what I'd like to see.
So ultimately, what I'm trying to do is generate three different prompts, or three different
sections of this video, so to start off, I just want to say the name of the channel,
so show AI with Brandon, so that's why you can see we actually have a few different options
right here, so AI with Brandon, it actually came up with some pretty cool ones, I will
say you can see that like some of the stuff isn't the best, like the bottom right, it
duplicated AI, I will, quick note, lesson learned, the best it can really do right now
is three words, if you want to do anything more than three words, Sora really struggles
with that, so yeah, try and keep it at three or under for your video prompts.
So that's part one of the clip, part two, I just want to say like, all right, the goal
of the channel is to help make money with AI, so now you're going to see it just says
make money with AI, so we luckily were able to sneak in four words this time, and it was
able to work pretty well, so all around it looks pretty good, sometimes it'll add in
random extra text, like in the top left, and in the bottom right one, it adds extra stuff,
so we're going to stick with one of the other ones that's working, and then finally, what
I wanted to do is just show like a cool little visual at the end, so it came up with a few
different options, so I'll just show you what it came up with, so it's just like some glowing,
like I don't know, I just want to show some like cool symbols and stuff, so I like this
one, it's like what I was trying to go for prompt wise was showing three different things,
so I was trying to show off like, hey, do four icons, I'm trying to make like a pyramid,
so where money's at the top, and the pillars are code, no code, and AI, like that's like
core crux of the channel, and it didn't do it the best, but it actually looks pretty
cool, because this is like AI, and this is like, I don't know, regular AI, and this is
no code AI, I don't know, I'm going to put whatever meaning I want behind it, but these
are the four clips that I generated, so what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead
and favorite all the ones that we want to use for our storyboard, and I think I like
these two right here, and then finally, when it comes to AI with Brandon, I think I like
the top right one the best, so we'll go ahead and favorite that, all right, I'm just doing
this so it's easier to find them, all right, so now that we have that set up, what we can
do is we're going to start working on a storyboard, so we're going to go through a few iterations
of this so you can see how storyboard works, and then how we can actually really improve
the results we get from storyboard, so let's go ahead and click storyboard, and now it's
like, all right, let's go ahead and add images or videos to your storyboard, and it kind
of just looks like a timeline that you can build, so in our case, we're going to say,
well, this is going to be a 10 second intro, and let's go ahead and start adding some images,
so the first one we're going to choose from our library, and I believe it was, this was
the first one, let's go ahead and shorten that down to like two seconds, now let's go
ahead and add in clip number two right here, and clip number two, we're going to go ahead
and drop this one, choose from library, oop, I'm silly guys, I did this in the wrong order,
so what's cool is we can just drag stuff around, that's the part that's so nice about this,
so then what we really want to do is for this one, we want to go ahead and say the channel
name to start, so we're going to say AI with Brandon, this is the one I liked, yes, great,
so we're going to do that one first, let's go ahead and get that one nice on both sides
looking clean, and let's go ahead and add in one more section right here with another
library, I think from our library, and I believe we liked, was it this one, no, that one had
the weird text, make money with AI, I think this is the one we liked together, so let's
go ahead and grab that one, so now we're going to put this one right here, let's go ahead
and drop this, and just to give a little bit of context of what this is doing, is what
it can do is actually you can use text to help you transition from clip to clip to clip,
so I'm going to do it first with no text, and then we're going to come back and regenerate
it with some filler in between to help improve the clip that gets generated, so let's go
ahead and start it off, we're going to go ahead and create this storyboard, and then
we're going to come back and I'm going to show you how we can actually start to really
improve this, so let's go ahead and create two different variations at 480 pixels so
we can see it in action, and then we're going to come back and improve it, alright guys,
so we just finished generating our clip, so let me go ahead and show you our rough version
of V1 of our new intro with a storyboard, so I'm going to hover over here so you guys
can see in action, so you can see it shows clip one, and then it's going to do a hard
cut and go to clip two, and it's going to do another hard cut and go over to clip three,
so this is not what we wanted, but we're going to go ahead and actually start improving upon
this back in storyboards and make this look nicer, so here's how we're going to do it,
we're just going to click one of these, and then what we're going to do is go to edit
storyboard, and what we need to do is in these blank spaces, we need to go ahead and add
in some text, so we're going to add text right here, and then this was a little too long,
what we're going to do is add in a text here, so we've added in basically, you can see describe
the scene right here, so these are going to be AI generated fillers between each of them,
and I'm trying to give it like a second and a half transition just because like anything
less and AI kind of struggles with it, so let's actually make this even a little bit
shorter so we have a little bit more time to do transition from scene A to scene B,
and one thing that you'll notice is whenever you're reading the instructions from Sora,
the better you can do describing the initial transition to the next, the better, so if you
would just be like describe a dog here, it's going to be really wonky, it doesn't like
jumpy shots, it likes long continuous transitions, so what we can do is do a transition screen
of a glowing blue background that transitions to black with green glowing accents, so I'm trying
to do like what was I looking at, a blue screen, what am I going to, this next screen which is
black and green, so that's what we're going to put for here, for this next one, what we're going to
do is fade away from the black screen and green text and show a gray background with outlines of
the three icons, so it might figure this out, we're going to work on it together, and then
what we're going to do at the very end, we're just going to say show an effect like the TV is being
turned off, so as you can see, not the best prompt generator for transitions, but you know that
screen where it's like, that's what I'm shooting for, so let's go ahead and create a few more
variations of this to look at our version 2, because this is definitely an iterative process,
and I just want to show you a little bit behind the scenes of like what it takes to go from raw
clips to a really nice looking YouTube intro video, so let's go ahead and create another round,
I'm going to show you the results, and we're going to keep tweaking this until we get a phenomenal
looking YouTube intro, and I'll update the prompts along the way, so you can see how we can make
these transitions also look super beautiful, so let's cut back in just a second, all right guys,
so just finished creating the different clips including our transition, so I just want to show
you what it looks like so far, so if I come in here and hover over it, so far it looks a lot
better AI with Brandon, for some reason it adds a few extra text characters, and it doesn't
transition well to our third clip, so what we're going to do is I'm going to show you guys how you
can actually improve this a little bit more using some of the built-in enhancements that come with
storyboards, so let me show you, so I still like this one the best, and we're going to go to edit
storyboard, and now what we're going to do is we're going to shorten these just a little bit more to
allow even more time for these transitions, so we're going to come in here, and then what we're
going to do is you can see there's this pencil icon in each scene transition, so we can go ahead
and say expand caption, and what this will do is it'll create an AI generated version that's
basically you know much better than what you and I can come up with, so it says like the screen
displays a glowing blue background that's gradually transitioned to black neon green accents, so this
is just it's 10 times better than what you and I initially had together, so let's go ahead and do
this for the rest of them, and let's try and get some of these clips a little bit better, so let's
work on this one as well, make this one a little bit more descriptive, and then what we're going to
do next is yeah that looks way better, a smooth fade away from black screen, yeah just all around
10 times better, and then finally for this last one, this just clip we didn't give it enough time,
and we weren't descriptive enough, so we're going to once again expand, so this is going to go off
and say like oh okay you wanted a tv effect, so like this is actually how you describe it in a
much better phrasing, so now that we have that set up, we're going to go ahead and create it once again,
and I'm hoping this process of seeing how we go from like a very rough draft, and then we slowly
increment over and over and over to a finalized polished product is super helpful, so we're going
to give this just one more second, and then we should have nice final looking draft of our youtube
intro for this channel, so we're going to pause and come back once it's finished making these.
Okay so it just finished up creating all the variations, so I just want to go ahead and show
it to you what it looks like in action, so I'm going to go ahead and hover over real fast,
so you can see shows off AI with Brandon, nice transition to make money with AI, and then finally
it's going to show our cool little picture of the three different things, and it's going to try and
go to that tv out effect, didn't do the best job, but hey for you know a few pennies, this is freaking
awesome, so that's very cool, and so what I want to do in the final part is just show you now that
we have a clip that we really like together, what we can do is we're going to go off and actually
remix it, and actually generate a new version of it, but in 1080p, this is the final thing,
so what we want to do once you have the perfect version of what you're looking for, what you can
do is just go ahead and change this to 1080p, you're going to say I want one variation, make
sure you do that, it gets very expensive if you don't, and then all we want to do is just go off
and say that that's pretty much everything that we want to do, and we actually can, if you'd like,
we can cut out the tv part of it, and just leave it nice, and there we go, that's perfect, so leave
it right here, so we're going to go off and create that new version 1080p, and it's going to hopefully
be nice and phenomenal, and something that we can actually put on our youtube channel, so let me go
ahead and click this, and this is going to take a good while, just because every time you make
something in 1080p, as you saw earlier over here, it takes eight times as long to actually make it
happen, so I'll come back so you guys can see the finished product. Alright guys, so just finished
generating our 1080p video, so let me go ahead and show it to you, and drop some thoughts along the
way, so as you can see, it's a much sharper picture now, every part of it, like I'm just gonna pause
real fast, like it is very sharp, like that is 1080p, and it looks awesome the whole way through,
very crisp, I will say a few things I don't like, I'm gonna go ahead and keep playing it real fast,
is the towards the end, the part we just cut out, it's not actually really doing much with it,
it is kind of like a cool whoosh effect, so you could leave it, hey, if not, don't worry, hop over
to Canva, and just trim off the end of it, or just do it over here in QuickTime, if you got a Mac,
so all around, I think this is a super cool starter pack, for if you're to start working on
trying to use Sora to create new youtube video automations, and I'm sure with some more time,
and some more credits, you guys can go off and create some really awesome youtube video intros,
but yeah, I hope you guys really like learning how to make this using storyboards inside of Sora,
and that's a wrap for this video, guys, I hope you all enjoyed this Sora master class,
and I cannot wait to see what AI generated videos you guys go off and create next,
and just a few quick reminders, all of the GPTs and prompts I've talked about,
I have a link to it down the description below, so you can go ahead and access everything,
and if you do want to join that like-minded community of other AI developers, I have that
free school community, would love to see you over there, and then finally, if you want to see more
AI content just like this, I definitely recommend checking out all the other AI videos on my
channel, where I cover everything from crew AI, lang chain, and a bunch of other awesome tools
that I'm sure you guys would love to use, but enough of that, definitely check whatever
video is popping up next, and I cannot wait to see you guys in the next video, see ya!
