what's up everybody hi pam saturday
night you know what that means
sexy saturday night around here we're
making homemade pizza
and it's six o'clock low carb pizza
so we're gonna show you guys our
favorite recipe
um we found this on instagram but it's
been just like a hit and you guys love
it too so we're gonna do a full video on
it
and show you how we like to do it yeah
fun fact
so tiff is like she doesn't really cook
that often
i'm the one that does most of cooking
around here yeah but
when it comes to these pizzas queen
pizza queen she's got this down to a
science so pay attention because
these are awesome i usually eat a couple
of them at a time
yeah i love them and the good news is if
i can do these anybody can
so we hope you love them as much as we
do we make these weekly
we love them they're low carb they're so
good
and let's get into it yeah let's just
start
so of course just get whatever you want
that you like on your pizza
this is what we're doing tonight got
basil
mozzarella peppers onion
oregano all the things so basically just
get whatever you like on your pizza
right babe
that's right we really love this sauce
they do have
an actual pizza sauce but we're out of
it so we're using the marinara and we've
done that a bunch it's seriously so good
so
marinara or pizza sauce honestly our
best advice is don't skimp get the good
stuff like especially on the meat and
the cheese and the sauce like pay a
little extra because it will make the
world of difference
then of course this is what makes it low
carb
low carb tortillas there's so many low
carb tortilla options right
now so just get whatever you like these
ones happen to be the one we're using
this week
and yeah we're just trying these out for
the first time so
we had them with a wrap earlier with
some some turkey and they were awesome
but yeah yeah so that's why that's the
secret to making them low carb
is using it on a low carb tortilla of
course you can use it on any kind of a
tortilla
but if you are worried about carbs and
you want to limit them that's the way to
do it
so the first and possibly most important
detail is you want an oven safe pan
so you're going to take this from
stovetop into the oven so make sure
there's no plastic
it's oven safe you can google it
whatever design you have and make sure
but that is the most crucial step to
this or it'll end horribly for you
then you want to turn on
i do broil on high
and then i will put the stove on like
i don't know seven what is that medium
high
then you'll put a little bit of oil on
here and start off with the tortilla
all right so we've cut up everything
that we want dan's going
like a little creative i'm just sticking
to classic pepperoni
with the cheese you can do like
margarita pizza style with like slices
or you can grate your cheese i like
migrated we're going to do his margarita
style
so just kind of show your options um but
yeah so first thing we're going to do is
we're going to put a little olive oil
or butter on the pan just do
what you want it's like personal
preference
and this is basically to help get the
tortilla nice
and crisp and golden because that's
going to be your crust
so we'll throw that on there and this
part is super simple
you just basically keep flipping it back
and forth until it's super
um what's the word you want to like firm
i'll show you what it's supposed to look
like but you want it super firm so it's
like a crispy firm crust
just keep flipping it back and forth
and you'll see how it goes from being
like super floppy
to like all of a sudden super crispy and
[Music]
firm
okay so it's starting to get firm you'll
see like
i like it a little crispier these are
cooking a little different than the ones
we normally have
but you basically want it nice and
crispy because it's not gonna firm up
much more
in this or in the oven so get it as like
crisp as you can now trust me you'll
thank yourself later
all right so let's get to it we're going
to start with the sauce
obviously a little goes a long way
because this is so thin you do not want
to like
over sauce it otherwise it'll just be
soggy and nobody needs a soggy pizza
so literally less is more
you do want to make sure you get it all
the way to the outside edges
and just go nice and thin spreading it
evenly i feel like a spoon
helps make your life so much easier but
whatever works for you
okay next cheese this is going to be
mine so i will do
the shredded cheese i do not like a lot
of cheese a lot of this is personal
preference so just do it how you like it
but also because they're so thin you
want to make sure
you really are light-handed with
everything that you used
and i don't like cheese anyway so i just
use a little bit
next add whatever toppings you want i'm
keeping mine like
so plain jane we're just doing pepperoni
so oh don't burn yourself
so there we have it now we're gonna put
it into the oven it's on high it's on
broil it will be ready for you
make sure you have a hot pad on hand
because you're gonna need it when you
take this out
so just stick that beauty in the oven
i give it like three or four minutes but
just keep a really close eye on it until
it's exactly how you want it alright so
this is like three minutes later
i like mine a little crispier definitely
golden
so we're gonna pull it out make sure
you're using
a heating pad
so easy so now you just put it on a
plate
wait for it to cool and enjoy it
so easy just wait for it to cool cut it
up with a pizza cutter and enjoy
all right i just threw dan's on his is
next
just remember this is still so so hot so
have a heating pad with you
it's not a heating pot a heating pad is
what you put on your stomach when you
have cramps
grab a hot pad how
and you're just going to do the same
thing so you're going to get this nice
and crispy
i don't put oil or butter on it again
because i feel like there's enough left
over but if you feel like it needs more
by all means put it on there and it's
the same thing
just depending on whatever this person
wants for their toppings
but it's so simple and it's so quick and
it's so easy
[Music]
so
[Music]
here we go into the oven
okay all right let's check on it
beautiful if you wanted those crispier
you could get them that way
i feel like this is good again use your
hot pad
pull it out
so hot please be careful
oh yeah nice and crisp crust
all right so just wait for them to cool
for a minute and then go ahead and use a
pizza cutter and give them a cut
so i like to cut mine a certain way and
i cut dans a certain way so you'll see
like
the differences between the two actually
you should get a fork to make my
life easier here we go
much better
i just feel like having smaller pieces
it's easier to eat
it's kind of more like an appetizer
style i like it
but just do you as per uge
there you go so that's what mine
always looks like and then i'll show you
how i cut down
just simple as it gets
four big pieces that's how he likes his
and then we always top our pizzas with
oregano and red pepper flakes
just get it all over the counter
and then you can top it with fresh basil
you can put basil on before you throw it
in the oven whatever you like
basically just make it your own this is
how we do it
this is how we do it
all right there it is pizza queen this
girl knows how to cook a low-carb pizza
what can i say
she does it all doing the least since
1987.
