Finding Drosera Capensis on Table Mountain

I got so today we're just getting some breakfast in Harts Bay and we're gonna go hacking up Table Mountain at ten o'clock so let me just show you where we're gonna be happy [Music] like easy [Music] [Music] just gonna have some breakfast and then okay so we're gonna do a big hike you're gonna circle around the side around the side and then when you see that dirt road there yeah that one you're gonna turn off and go up the mountain at that Ridgeway yeah up to the high big key this one yeah and right behind that Keith you're gonna find a lovely felony the only colony of Dussehra admirable as' and then some creamed corn in this year as well over there it's a big big car in your big plan so that's gonna be the highlight basically also on that people find ramen cassia and some juicer hilarity hey guys so we finally made it to our destination and you can see the man sitting in the back this is very going up this mountain here and I'm with Odin so he's Instagram page is you can check him up a lot so what's a while Asura and orcas and stuff super cool that's how I actually met him so we actually found some of our first dra sweb what just appearances is reka princes and this is a very very low population I've never seen them at this from the eye exactly usually like the altitudes just a cool ones this look nicer yeah I'm no expert on the appearances by no some people absolutely love them yeah geez it's a nice little puppet they get a lot taller though this is them slowly dying back here and they completely die actually it's interesting yeah so we're gonna head up up here and I'll get back to you guys when you've gone a little bit further up tomorrow but the leaves are actually almost double as thick as these one it's like this basically looks kind of like a guinea for you but it's hilarious look how big these views on I mean look at these lovely flower stalks yeah a little shake to see there's anything comes off did that darzee's a big sponge dispersed in here that's enough I mean not even that high up on the month and yet we still have to go or maybe they're broken off but this is what they all look like they'll just die completely back you wouldn't know this alright then once winter comes in the rains they come right back to life that's so not all actually flowering as well they literally they're just there last flowers there's a nice little colony yeah growing younger this stuff this is essentially like a star has not even that moist you can but it's kind of loose actually you can stick your finger cut deep into yeah check back since hold its whole thing yours loose changes your opinion how we grow these phones check these red things you want these on so we on the way up and they still quite low down it's a really nice all on the sides you can actually notice them if you're a patient unfortunately these ones are almost out for ya guys once one gonna get a nice one that's a nice one yeah stick it over here just to keep up yeah she can see hilarious is not an effect to catch her now no bugs on it not too much sticking up everything you'll find a big cat let's do this so many yeah so much sticky sticky stuff so you just trying to get the the puppies up onto the mountain you have all all all three other puppies oh oh he's running back anyway look what we were happy with you know the bastions but this is amazing biggest colony of Terceira hilarious is yeah they just I mean these little fields of them it's amazing inside of the older fanboys I did post a picture at one point a while ago I made a very very green they're getting almost no sunlight so I mean yeah it's amazing the scabies those include fully adjust our final shape we just has up all of this I'm pretty much god Odin Odin doesn't give you guys it's easy for him not quiet the dogs are tired you probably give them let me just stopped under this little tree it's actually such a nice view and you can see into this ravine here and around yep you can put on this pathway yeah we'll continue down there depending on basically how I feel because this is huge let's see there some tiny admirable is standing on a rock on the wind but we almost up there but this is hot you stop and record this because this is really beautiful at the top [Music] also get some mountain mountain river water so we just came from the side here of the hill down here into the ravine on the way down I cut my foot here as you can see so the fires often come through here and the stems of the tree burnt and made like a long thin thing to you know basically stab my foots and that's what happened but it's not that bad I'll just wash it out with some water from the river here so I'm stuck in it out of it let it dry out and then I should be all good so we've seen dresser 5-10 minutes we'll see some wood rostra I'm keen so we just went past the Riverina Odin fauna some come in test you can see here on my finger other one and so nice you see them up here if you look at the soil here it's ash it's it's sad dude a little bit done and you can probably see but I can definitely feel gets more moist and damp so these dudes definitely have super super long tough roots yeah to get that moist water which keeps them I love and their waters super cold as well so keeps them nice and cool but hey we'll see some more ramen tests here and we're gonna turn left and we'll get some give me
