hey guys it's Jackie and for today's
video I'm going to show you this head to
toe winter formal look I love this it
has kind of a theme to it so I thought
undone princess it's very cute and girly
with the dress and the makeup and then
the hair is a little bit more Bohemian
and undone with these fishtail accents
so I hope you like this combo as much as
I do and it's very easy to recreate so
you might get some inspiration for this
for like a date or um a dance coming up
prom this year if you don't have a
winter formal and if the hairstyle is a
little bit too casual for you make sure
that you're subscribed to this channel
because I will have a Winter Wonderland
theme hairstyle coming up next and it
has uh some side do and upd so that
might be what you're looking for but
anyways let's get started with this uh
peach and gold makeup I'm starting with
a moisturized face and I'm applying the
Maybelline Master Prime to smooth over
my larger pores on my T-Zone for a
smooth base and a barrier between my
skincare and my
makeup I'm actually trying a new
Foundation here I know I always stick to
my Covergirl clean in the oil control
formula but I decided to Branch out and
get the Stila Aqua glow serum Foundation
I've been using this for a week now and
I really like it it's very light leaves
a very Natural Glow to the skin and I
really like the texture of it how I
apply it is first shaking the bottle
lots and then I just apply with a flat
top brush and then blend away into the
skin with a damp Beauty blender you can
totally use your fingers as well it has
the texture of like a tinted moisturizer
so I also applied a little bit down my
neck and it's really great for just
evening out the skin and giving that
really nice glow but I wouldn't say this
is the best for covering
blemishes I'm using the anast cream
Contour but only in the two lightest
Shades I like this for me just to
brighten up underneath the eyes I apply
a little on the jawline and around the
nose in a super sheer layer then I just
blend away again with my beauty sponge I
use this more as a very lightweight
concealer and it also just highlights
the skin a little bit definitely not as
thick as my Laura Mercier under eye
concealer which I use when I want a
little bit more coverage
[Music]
still with cream products I recently
picked up the tarte Tipsy cheek stain I
just rubbed the stain up my cheekbones
and blended it in again with my beauty
sponge I've never really been a fan of
stains or cream blushes even but when I
have a uh like very light Foundation or
a tinted moisturizer I find it looks
really nice just if you have too thick
of a base though it will kind of like
move around the product and doesn't look
all that great so if you like to use a
very light base I would to totally
recommend cream products so here's a
little closeup of the
skin now to limit the creasing under the
eyes I'm setting with Too Faced a primed
and poreless powder just with a small
brush and going back and forth to make
sure that everything is set there and
then for all over the face I do
something a little weird I really like
the texture of the Too Faced Candlelite
glow highlighter it's a highlighter just
for the cheekbones but I use a little
bit over my whole face and I just find
it really picks up nicely on camera in
photos but it completely depends on your
skin type for me my Skin's a little bit
dull looking so I like that extra kind
of glow and Sheen to it but if you have
some bumps on the skin it can accentuate
that so if you have any skin troubles
then I would suggest to go with
something a little bit more matte or
Bare Minerals is also a really great
option for a little bit more coverage
and a skin-like texture I'm going to add
a bit of bronzer I prefer looking more
bronze with this light peach color dress
that I'm going to wear so I don't look
washed out and I have a little bit of
self tanner on except for my face so I
do have to do a little bit more work to
get my face um a little bit more bronze
and I'm also applying some ash toned um
kind of brownish gray shade underneath
my cheekbones to make them pop and I'm
also defining the bridge of my nose and
tip a little bit this looks especially
good in photography so the face doesn't
look flat can leave the skin as it is
the peach cheek stain does still shine
through but I'm going to add an extra
pop up on my cheekbones for added color
and a bit of a highlight I love Milani
products and this blush is gorgeous you
can totally tone it down I personally
love a lot of color on my cheeks and I
don't put it on the apples I put it more
along the cheekbones it looks really
nice on a round face but of course it
will look less dramatic when the whole
look is put together and you can always
just tone it down to do what looks best
to
you for brows I've really been going
natural recently so I'm using the
Covergirl brow and eye makers in soft
Brown I really like this shade and it's
really hard to go overboard with this
it's really subtle and I'm just just
filling in the front a little bit in any
sparse areas then I'm combing upwards
and locking everything in place with a
brow gel I like to comb up and then I'll
take those extra little side side pieces
and uh like put them over and that's how
I do it it's very simple and just kind
of accentuates the natural kind of full
brows I have without looking too drawn
on and then of course I am priming my
lids for
[Music]
Shadows now for shadows I'm keeping it
very simple and easy I'm going in with
the gold Milani Shadow it is so
pigmented and pretty I love it so much
and I'm applying it all over the lid as
well as my inner corner and all the way
underneath my lash line I'm so impressed
with these Milani shadows and blushes
they are so pigmented and really pretty
they're not super expensive or anything
and the only reason I haven't used a ton
of Milani is because I don't have a
Superstore that I go to frequently and
that's where I tend to buy it but
anyways I'm going next in with Mac's
Brown script this is a gorgeous shade
shade I've used this so many times and
it looks great with gold Shadows so I'm
blending right above my crease and just
keeping it very soft and Fades right
into the brow bone and I'm also adding a
little bit of this under my bottom lash
line and fading that out as
well next I'm taking a tiny bit of blush
that I used and I'm applying this also
into the crease and just fading it
upwards so that I have a little bit more
Sheen
there almost done with the shadows I'm
going in with a light matte shade and
I'm applying this to my brow bone and
I'm bringing it down a little bit over
top of some of the Shadows just to keep
everything soft I know they're kind of
bold colors but once I put the lashes on
it'll still be a very soft look and I'm
skipping liner with this so now that the
Shadows are pretty much done I just went
in and I added a tiny bit of Fix Plus on
my brush and then I applied a little bit
more gold to the center of my lid for a
more metallic finish but anyways now I'm
just going to curl my natural lashes and
apply
mascara for mascara I'm using the
Covergirl Clum Crusher I really like
this because it has short bristles so I
find there's less room to like mess up
and get it on your lid which I've been
doing a lot recently never used to
happen to me but I don't know now I just
keep getting it on my lid so I'm
reaching for this one and it's just
lengthening and nice so here's my
complete eye look without false lashes
and I'm going to show you like a natural
version of the look so next I'm going in
with this uh Nars lip pencil and it's
really really pretty it's just a natural
way to finish off the look it gives you
a nice nice little pout and here's the
first
option this is a little bit more
Bohemian and now I'm going to make it a
little bit more girly and princessy with
bigger lashes and a glossy mouth so
glossy mouth that sounded weird glossy
lip and I'm going in with individual
lashes I really liked how this looked in
my Gigi tutorial and you can buy lashes
that go small medium to large and make
them go uh like in a fluttery way I just
have the mediums on me right now so I'm
just using the medium singles on the
first half of my eye and then I'm
building it up and doing the double
flares I love how this looks it gives a
really nice effect and here I did quite
a few I actually filmed this on two days
so in this portion of the tutorial I
have lots of lashes but in my hair
tutorial and um when I'm modeling the
dress for you then I have less lashes so
you'll see kind of the difference there
but yeah once I have all the lashes on
it is a little bit timec consuming but
it gives a really pretty fluttery look
I'm going to add a pink gloss this is a
buxom gloss you guys know I love Buxom
and here's the completed look I'm just
doing some touchups and I really hope
you guys like it
[Music]
I'm starting this hairstyle off with
second day hair and no I don't have the
little arm sleeves in because it's just
easier to do this hairstyle without the
restrictions so I'll put those on later
but anyways I'm just brushing out my
hair and adding some dry shampoo in the
roots to give them a little pickme up a
little more volume and also because I'm
using some heat I'm going in with Tres
heat protectant on the lengths and ends
of my
hair brush it all through and I'm doing
a bit of teasing around my parts so I
have a messy text mixture up top with a
little volume and now the next step is
taking a small section from behind your
ear and I am fishtailing this all the
way down what I like to do is fish tail
and then I will really loosen it and
then I'll fish tail again and loosen it
up one more time so I get a messy
texture to it and I'm doing a second one
also behind my ear here's a little recap
on how to fishtail just divide your hair
in two sections take the outermost
strand of one of the sections and cross
it over and then repeat the same thing
so it's really just a crisscross motion
and you get this a really pretty
Bohemian pattern and I will have a link
down below to a just simple fishtail
tutorial if you need to check that one
out again I'll fishtail and then I will
loosen it up so that the length of how
much I've braided gets a lot longer and
gets a little Messier and more Bohemian
then I'll repeat the same step and once
I'm down all the way at the bottom of my
hair I am tying it off with a little
plastic elastic and this is what makes
it very boho if you take a comb and you
add a little bit of hairspray and then
just back comb it upwards a little bit
you'll get this messy texture and I
think it looks really cool I think this
is a very cute Bohemian hairstyle just
with natural hair to have a peeking
braid or a two coming through the hair
but I am going to start curling my hair
first I'm taking some hairspray this is
pantene's volume up and I've sprayed my
roots just to give them a little bit
more grit and separation and then I'm
just really quickly curling the ends of
my hair away from my face and I've added
a couple towards my face as well just to
give it that cool kind of messy movement
and then I'm going to take the braid and
just move it over to the other side like
a half headband I'm not really putting
it all the way to the other side I'm
kind of putting it on an angle and then
pinning it underneath a section of hair
on the other side I'm doing this to both
of them and you get this really cool
kind of sideways I don't know detail and
I like to make sure that the hair is um
covering it on the other side so that
you don't get like a big hole between
your hair so I hope you guys like this
look it's very simple you can totally do
more polish wavs if you want to but I
really wanted to have it a little bit
more
laidback the last step I'm doing is
taking that front section and I'm just
pinning it over top of the fishtails so
that I get a nice little movement there
and I think it looks really nice in the
end and by the way what do you think I
should do with my hair color right now
it's kind of this AUB uh medium brown
shade I really like it I think it's
Unique and cool but I do have to get my
roots done do you think I should go
darker like it was before or just get it
matched and rock the color it is let me
know
I'm falling like a hit fly down to your
feet crawling on my knees I face the
concrete taste the blood in my mouth but
I don't really
care oh no now for the whole look
together these awesome shoes are from
Lulu's it reminds me of a ballerina but
I will say you do have to tie them up
pretty tight for the uh lace UPS to stay
put I had to retie mine a couple times
but you could always use like a bit of
an adhesive even and this clutch is
beautiful it's my favorite clutch I have
it's also from Lulu's and just
beautifully detailed and really adds to
this look my layered necklaces and drop-
down earrings are from modcloth.com they
have a huge selection of accessories and
I thought these were very pretty and
Princess
like and of course this light peach lace
dress is from windsorstore.com it's my
favorite place to get semi-formal to
