Well friends, it's officially happened. How do I put this? The first time in my life
without asking, someone handed me their spare change.
Thanks dudes. How's it going everybody? I'm Nikki Delventhal and this is my dog
Camper Delventhal. We live in a 2006 Toyota Prius and we're here to take you along on the wild ride.
So fasten up your seat belts and let's have some fun.
Don't forget if you like what you see, like, subscribe, comment,
share with your friends and turn on notifications. Camper and I would be so thankful.
Last week's adventures in Hotel Prius took us deep into the North Cascades of Washington.
And although we were deep in the wilderness, it was a week filled with tons and tons of
friends and family. We met with our best friends Lauren and Daphne, even met some of their friends.
In true Nikki and Camper fashion, we even made some friends at a coffee shop and went outdoor
climbing for the first time. And finally left off at our cousin Talia's. Her and her friend Mike are
environmental educators for the national park and we were lucky enough to get to spend the weekend
with them and go on some epic hikes. Good morning. So Talia had to leave really early this morning,
so we didn't get to see her, but we are following Mike right now to a salmon run. This is gonna be
so mind-blowing. I'm so excited to see it and show you guys. And we're super lucky because we get to
go on the school's property that they work at to see it. Can I touch you? I used to have a bunny
that looked exactly like you named Sarah and one that looked like you that was also named Sarah.
Seven bunnies that were named Sarah. One named Floppy because its ear fell down.
Wow these guys are cute. That's so great. There's another one that has an ear that's down. Yeah I'll
figure it out somewhere. All right, see you later bunnies. We're gonna go see some salmon.
What we are about to witness only happens between September and October
and for this particular species every other year. Holy moly. Wow look at all of them.
There's hundreds. This is like the coolest thing I've ever seen. 20 bucks I could catch one.
I'm sure you could. You ready? You cooking? A salmon's life cycle is pretty remarkable.
Mike explained how the fish spend most of their life at sea but at the end of their life they
migrate the long long journey, sometimes hundreds of miles back up the river, back to the place
where they were born to lay new eggs and die. And then the next generation continues that cycle.
This is amazing. This is one of the only areas in the world, the Pacific Northwest, where all five
salmon species can be found. Wow. Yeah. We're so lucky to be here. He's eating everything along
the way. Come on. Come on. Oh now you have a raincoat so you're like invincible.
Mike, you're the best. Thank you so much. Yeah nice meeting you. Rainy hugs. All right,
I have a feeling we are going to do more adventures with Mike and Talia in the future.
Looking forward to it. It's going to be amazing. Bye Mike, we'll see you later.
From there we started our journey to Oregon to go meet my sister Kayla.
Stopping for coffee, salads, waterfront views, dog parks, work breaks,
and even to see some friends. Making our first stop for the evening at a truck stop.
I went into Love's to take a shower and it was 14 freaking dollars.
I just couldn't justify it because I don't really need one.
That's crazy. Someone said I bought $14 in snacks because I don't need to wash my hair today.
I did need $14 of snacks to get over it.
Don't worry friends, yes I'm aware of gyms, YMCA's, all the above. They're just usually
very out of the way. After a good night's sleep it was time to continue our journey to Kayla.
Good morning handsome. My foot's stuck. I can't do this today.
Okay. After a quick walk and play in the dog park I have decided I'm gonna wear my pajamas
as long as I can. Today is a pajama day.
I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it.
I don't want to do anything today. Do you guys ever feel like that?
What do you think camp? Is this a trap? You're gonna wear it today.
Today I'm in my pajamas. I'm gonna work all day till I see my sister.
I'll see you in a few hours kids. It's work time. After work we continued our drive into Oregon.
Yep still in pajamas. Going grocery shopping. Mission accomplished. Okay now
to conserve space I shoved the greens in these bags. I reuse them so that way
this big box turns into these small bags.
Life tip. Restocked for the weekend we drove to the next truck stop. This time took a shower.
Oh yeah still rocking the pjs. Probably gonna be right after the shower.
Full day pajamas. Successful day in pajamas. It's bedtime. Good morning camper baby.
We're gonna go see auntie Kayla today. I'm so cheery this morning. My camper cares video just
went live. For those you don't know that's my charity and you're gonna meet my sister today.
So we're just gonna get ready and then we're gonna hit the road and we're gonna head to Mount Hood
and do a really fun hike and overnight with Kayla. Yay! I also sent a bunch of stuff to her house
so we're gonna continue this pajama party till we get there because I got new pants. All right
you ready? Don't worry Kayla, camper is holding down your parking spot. Oh wait you guys I need
to share with you a discovery I made the other day that might possibly be the biggest discovery
that camper and I have made in Prius living history. Ready for it? So many of you guys know
the Jackery portable power station is my main source of power living in a car. What I'll normally
do is I will recharge it while I'm driving on long drives or if we're off grid I'll take out
the foldable solar panels and the station and I'll just lay it out in direct sunlight while we're
hanging out. But here's the best part. You ready for this? So I couldn't find my car charger the
other day and it just like right in my head why didn't I put the solar panel on the dash? So now
we've got dash solar. So that way when you want to keep everything locked in the car, maybe you're
going in the store, maybe you're only going on an hour hike, you can still charge up. Car doesn't
have to be on, you don't have to be outside the car. Boom! Game changer! If you're thinking about
getting one, camper and I have partnered with Jackery so if you do please use the link in my
description. That really helps us out. Look who's here! Hey, how you doing?
Campy, what are you doing in there? You little stinky man?
Oh my gosh, he's such a freak.
Wow, is that all me? I think so. Going to change.
You like my new outfit? Look at my new outfit.
After some silly fun and catch-up, we hit the trail. Jelly fungi.
Taxidermized. I can't leave the people waiting. That is a really good sprint. Look at that sprint!
And of course, no Delvinthal adventure would be complete without one of us for getting something
in the car. You know you can walk! It's a lot colder than we thought, huh camp?
Yeah! And she's back! How you feeling? Warm? You don't even need the jacket anymore, do you?
Mushroom. We found the water! Yes we did! Yay!
Dude, what is he? He's a model.
Camper's a born natural. The camera loves you! It's true, it's the only time he's calm.
He is, he's a psycho. And then I pull out the camera and he's like...
You can see Mount Hood behind us. Look at Mount Hood! It's cool. You see that?
Oh! We did it!
We made it to the top! Look at that. That's picture perfect. Yeah, we're such a good boy.
At the summit, we had lunch.
I bet you've never seen a dog do this.
Took some glamour shots, then headed back down the mountain. All right, going back down.
Oh, Fancy is seeing you here. After our hike, we had a little strategy meeting,
and then went to town to go grab some firewood. And of course, snacks.
Outback tour! Show me where you store your avocados. So, you've got a tiered system.
You can stash your snacks and your firewood, and you can sleep very close to the ceiling.
Feel like you're suffocating.
Immediately upon arriving at camp, we started making a fire. And as sisters do,
had a friendly competition. Good form. Uh-huh. Yep, wide stance.
Oh yeah, we're on our way to getting firewood. Mm-hmm.
Oh, that's great. Looks like you're about to get a good centimeter of wood.
Don't do this without boots on. Yeah.
Naturally, camper had to show us all up.
Then, we spent the rest of the evening getting comfy around the campfire.
Yeah, that looks comfortable.
Camper, his back legs are on the top of the chair.
That's it. That's it. Oh yeah, that's it.
He looks so uncomfortable.
Then, Kayla cooked us some dinner.
Oh, good.
You cannot be in boots past 10 p.m. 9 p.m. 8 p.m.
I think Crocs maybe would want me to do an advertisement.
Wow, everybody's going to be getting a red pair soon.
Good night. I'll see you in the morning.
Love you.
It's cold. Oh shoot, we're on a slant.
Okay, good night.
You want to go outside? Okay, excuse me.
Don't beat the horn. Don't wake everybody up.
Oh, goodness.
And then, the most important part of the day.
Actually, that's one thing that Daniel said about living with me. He's like,
I found out that living with you is great. How many mugs do you think you use a day?
I was like, five. He was like, yeah.
So, I have a great dog who's obsessed with me and won't leave my side until he sees a squirrel.
And this time, I made the mistake of not putting his lead
on something and he went darting far off into the wilderness.
And the metal at the end smacked my ankle. Exhibit A. My ankle's f***ed.
We're getting some ice from the hidden first aid kits in the back.
Oh, my head has enough caffeine for all this pressure.
All right, this is for all of them.
Right here is where there's a big old purple dot. But what's so funny is it's
killing me through here. Oh, guess what? Mama's still going hiking tomorrow. Don't care.
Can I compare to the other side? Yeah.
It's bumping. It's popping. It's popping. It's totally popping. It's probably gonna get all
nasty. Any dog trainers out there who know how to deal with deep-rooted anxiety?
We're talking, like, real anxiety on the hike. Like, like, energy level climbs up to the top
and is like, he's like, like, camper sees a squirrel and he jumps from, like, a one to,
like, a nine. Like, he just, like, skyrockets.
Anyways, after that, we spent some more time hanging out and then said our goodbyes.
We're gonna run to the center and hug. Ready? It's gonna make it really dramatic.
You want to fly or should I fly? Oh, my God. We're hugging.
Stay tuned for next week as we continue our journey around Oregon.

How's, like, a hat? Is it held in my claws?
Wow, he's surprisingly good at taking photos. You guys are the same person.
Yeah. What is this?
He's crazy till the camera comes out.
So we are trying to see which one's that good one.
She can tell you.
Yeah, so every, every dog is sniffing. I'm like, that's a good mushroom.
Should they find good mushrooms?
Coffee and picking out shoes.
Don't show them!
Don't show my horrible flaws to the internet.
Okay, I'm trying to decide between these shoes and I'm wondering if I should get them in black,
which is kind of where my heart's at.
See the other ones.
Or big difference. You don't know how much I've thought about this.
What if I get the gray and I really need the black?
Black.
But I got the gray.
I got five minutes of my videos done.
Proving that I am my most creative in a love's parking lot in my pajamas.
