Selena Gomez & The Scene - Love You Like A Love Song (Behind The Scenes)

Hi, I'm Selena Gomez and you are on set for my music video for my single, Love You Like a Love Song. I felt like this song is a sweet way of saying what every person feels, you know, when you're in love with someone. For me, it's almost like it's the honeymoon stage. Love You Like a Love Song is about that first beginning and that rush, and it has a fun little techno beat to it. The video is definitely the craziest video I've ever done. Sometimes when you're in love, there are things that you feel that you can't really explain. It doesn't really make sense, that's how I feel when I'm in love. It's about a karaoke club where Selena gets called up on stage and then she starts singing and then she goes into other dreamlands. They kind of reflect different fantasy, romantic... Cliche situation. Scenes. We kind of just cover different venues of how I interpret love. We just finished shooting our mariachi psychedelic tree segment, and it's time to go to the beach. We're at the beach set up, which is where we are now in beautiful Malibu, California. We wanted to do something kind of mystical and beautiful. This inspiration in particular obviously is from every romantic movie or novel. You always picture someone on a beach and you're walking hand in hand, so we kind of wanted to do that in a more dramatic way, I guess. Roll camera. Thank you all very much, that's a wrap. We'll see you tomorrow. Hey guys, we are at day two of my music video shoot, and right now we are shooting in this really nice club kind of place for the start of the music video where my band and I are kind of, I guess, watching karaoke and I go on stage and I start singing Love You Like a Love Song. We are rolling. Selena Gomez! Great, great, great. Right now we are in the ethereal, beautiful, cloudy set, which is kind of typical when you think of romance, you kind of think of Shakespeare, and I think this is kind of a little tribute to that. We are in the 50s car now, so we're in the 50s in space. Roll. Give it up for Selena! We just finished the last shot of the music video for Love You Like a Love Song. I'm excited and I can't wait for all of y'all to see it.
