The Spartan political system was one of the most unique and disciplined governance models in ancient history. In this video, we explore the structure of Sparta's government, including the roles of the two kings, the Gerousia (Council of Elders), the Apella (Assembly), and the Ephors. How did Sparta maintain its military-oriented society? What made its oligarchic system different from Athenian democracy? Join me as we break down the political framework of one of history’s most formidable warrior states. Perfect for students of Political Science, International Relations, and competitive exam aspirants (CSS, PMS, Lectureship).
