thank you Mr Speaker uh Senate Bill 169 is simply a modernization of law enforcement tools to help combat the war on children in 2009 this honorable body gave the Attorney General's office the ability to use administrative subpoenas during an investigation when there is reasonable cause to believe that an internet service provider was used in the exploitation or attempted exploitation of children and in limited cases of online harassment in 2013 the general assembly add the Kentucky State Police to this list granting both law enforcement agencies with Statewide jurisdiction the use of this tool the bill simply adds additional platform types with child online exploitation has migrated to specifically social networking companies Mobile payment services or cloud storage services to that list a lot has changed in the world of technology since 2009 and this bill will allow the Attorney General's office and P to stay more up to dat with the ways the child that child predators are contacting Children online with that Mr Speaker if there's no questions I will move passage of House Bill uh Senate Bill 169
