to you has over 180,000 subscribers with a hundred plus million total views and over 12 million hours
of total watch time. I am filming and uploading new content all the time so come along for the ride.
In this video I am sharing some footage I shot back in May of 2023 from a farm near Versailles,
Ohio. In this video the farm is busy merging and chopping triticale. Later on in the video
you'll see them doing the same with some alfalfa. There's a lot of action going on in this video.
They are merging the crop running their Case International 125 tractor pulling a Kuhn Max
Chopping is being done by a custom guy out of St. Henry, Ohio. He is running his
Kloss Jaguar 970 self-propelled 4-inch harvester with the Kloss Model 380 pickup header. Running
beside the chopper right now is a Deutz-Fahr Model 7250 tractor pulling a Pena DB50 dump wagon.
Also in the video you'll see a Case International 71 tractor pulling a Pena
DB40 wagon and also a New Holland T-8 410 tractor pulling a Pena DB40.
This video has got a good mix of some aerial shots I got with the drone,
some on the ground footage, also some in-cab footage, also some action from the silage pile.
After the silage is chopped it's being hauled back to the farm where it is being pushed and
packed onto a silage pile that will be used for feed for the farm's dairy cow herd.
And I'm back at the farm the very next day. Unfortunately I missed out on all the mowing
action but I got plenty more merging and chopping footage to finish out this video.
And a little bonus footage while I was out here. Just over from where they were chopping I saw an
Alice Chalmers tractor. I didn't know what it was until I flew up close but over here was an Alice
Chalmers 7040 tractor pulling this Kinsey planter. I'm guessing he was planting soybeans just because
the front units are down in the ground but anyways just thought I'd include it in this video.
Now I'll fly back and catch the rest of the chopping action. So they are still chopping
Trita cow but they will shortly be moving to some alfalfa right after this field is done over here.
And since a lot of my audience is non-farm people just so you know what happened here
most forage harvesters do have a metal detector system in the feed rolls so if a piece of metal
is detected the feed rolls and the head will stop so you have to back it out find your piece
of metal sometimes it's just a false alarm and they will try to run it back through again and
if it catches it then you'll have to get out and find it like they are doing here. Sometimes it's
hard to find and sometimes you don't find anything you just got to grab that water material and throw
it out of the way and carry on. Not only could a piece of metal be bad for the forage harvester
it's also bad for a cow if it would get into its system through the feed.
And that's going to wrap it up for this video feel free to go down there click on that like
