the wrap up we break down the biggest stories of the week that you might have missed and definitely need to know now last week I traded the brick wall back here for the border wall when I travel to the towns of Del Rio and Eagle Pass Texas where I spoke firsthand with law enforcement officers and residents who have been directly impacted by the illegal immigration crisis at our Southern border now this has largely been ignored by the mainstream media which is why we're bringing the facts and these stories directly to you now those on the southern border no longer call it a crisis but they call it an invasion and the members of these communities fear for their lives every single day when they encounter migrants Smugglers human traffickers and also members of the cartel now here they are in their own words they are not going to report the truth they'll report a half-truth or little Snippets of this and Snippets of that but they're not reporting what's really happening down here I used to take my kids with me to to work all the time you know go check this water go feed the cows go do this or that I cannot do that anymore because of how many times we encounter illegal aliens and because of how many times illegals have tried to steal our trucks utvs all those kinds of things my kids are so used to seeing bailout they're so used to helping me patch holes in the fence you know we've had uh citizens shot at here a few weeks ago we had a story where there was a man laying in the road he stopped get out to render Aid and they came out of the brush and beat him up with brass knuckles they stopped they helped them they give them water maybe give them food and they find their dog a few hours later dead in the car now guys as you can tell the invasion happening in our border is more than a blip in the news cycle for the ranchers who are struggling physically financially and emotionally and there is another group that's experiencing significant strain as a result of the open border and illegal immigration now that Community is a law enforcement officers who risk their lives every single day now I participated in two ride-alongs with law enforcement from Kitty County and Eagle Pass and while an Eagle pass we learned from Maverick County Constable Frank Bowles the law enforcement across the state are stretched to their Breaking Point a lot of times there's migrants to cross and we encounter them first we can't house them or we can detain them but we have to call border patrol to come pick them up and sometimes we'll be there with them for several hours waiting for for them to be picked up and it's not the Border Patrol's fault but it's because they just have you know they're just so overwhelmed by the by the volume of traffic coming across I've had to go into the water a couple of times to pull people out close to the water's edge it's just really tough I've seen people drown I've recovered deceased that have been in the water for a while not out in the out in the brush the law enforcement ranchers aren't the only ones who are put in danger every day as a result of the open border policies the migrants who make the Germany risk assault rape robbery murder and death from dehydration exposure and the cartels who operate in Mexico and the United States now one Rancher I spoke with Cole Hill of the Gun Hill Ranch referred to the migration to the United States as a quote death sentence now I had the opportunity to witness how situations can quickly turn deadly during a ride along with the Kinney County Sheriff's department and we have some video from that moment there so we're in Kinney County right now at the site of a huge stretch of private property and we are actually probably just five or so minutes into our ride along and we're already starting to see some action here we're at this site of what was a bailout and for those of you who don't know what a bailout is a bailout is when the cows pursue a vehicle likely of illegal aliens those legal aliens and flee the vehicle running into what you can see is just a vast amount of brush and trees and currently what they're trying to do is locate a mom and a son now there's also another person out there who's a member of a criminal organization suspected to be armed and dangerous and they're also looking for Hem of the priority right now at least is just to find that mother and their infant they think it is so right now what you've seen is they're deploying drones out there they're going to go look for it in that regard and then after that the chief Deputy here will attempt to go into the brush locate the child and their mother now the woman the child in an armed man were never located by the deputies and remains a mystery about whether or not they will even survive the journey altogether this is not the only story of peril On the Border it's estimated by Constable Bulls most likely thousands of women and children who attempt to make the crossing are raped or sexually assaulted on the journey you'd find a lot I'm just gonna say you'd find a lot of condoms alongside the of the river and I would interview the women or ask them why do you have why do you have birth control why do you have condoms with you and then their response is well if we're going to be sexually assaulted at least we have protection we can ask the man at least you know wear a condom to either prevent a pregnancy or or a sexually transmitted disease a lot of women they're traveling with their children you know on their or on their own and they'll carry condoms with them and they'll be traveling in groups of people and they'll be looking for some type of safety so they'll look to the men in the group say hey well if I stay with you will you take care of me and they don't have anything to give them so they offer themselves is is collateral so how did we get here many on the left often claim that the border is a hundred percent secure but is it and the onset of his presidency is reporting about the Associated Press President Biden halted construction of the wall at the southern Border in fact he was even commended by Mexico's president in 2022 according to the Washington Post for doing so so what were the consequences of that now guys it is one thing for us to show you just how bad things are but and we can show you look this is the Border here it abruptly ends this is the reality on our Southern border now will things get worse before they get better well according to our sources on the ground the answer is an unequivocal yes it's time though for the news to know and the onset of the pandemic in March 2020 the CDC invoked title 42 which empowered border patrol to expel illegal aliens who had unlawfully crossed into the United States immediately back into Mexico or their home countries resulting in the expulsion of more than 3 million migrants back across the southern border and while the by Administration attempted to end this policy at the onset of his presidency it was blocked from doing so due to numerous lawsuits filed by republican-led States but on May 11th that may all change as the Administration has yet again signaled its intention to end the policy after the administration's suspension of the covid-19 emergency response now what will be the consequences of this well according to USA Today U.S officials expect the number of encounters at the border to double to more than 10 000 people a day after title 42 goes away there will be a major priority for the wrap-up to cover this story and others from the United
