Hey curlfriends, I'm Bianca Renee
and you're watching Bianca Renee Today.
And today, I'm back with another Rizos Curls video.
Guess we're going back to back.
Probably shouldn't sing.
But anyways, we are doing another Rizos Curls review
because it took so long to review her last collection
that she already dropped a new one.
And it has mango in it.
Can we give them a little moment for this PR box?
Like, I've been rocking with Rizos Curls
since it was just white bottles in brown boxes,
maybe some tissue paper.
The elevation.
Look at this.
Wow, that is beautiful.
Look at this little pop-up.
And there they are, the new products.
I literally screamed when I opened this box
because as you know, I am waiting
for the Rizos Curls Strong Hold Gel, which is coming.
But I do love me a custard.
There is a new heat-protected leave-in conditioner
and a custard.
So I'm gonna be trying both of these today.
I think I'm gonna do a split test
to see the leave-in and the custard together.
And then I kinda wanna see how much hold
the custard has on its own.
So let's do it.
Let's start off with the heat-protected multivitamin leave-in.
It has 13 plus vitamins and amino acids,
mango butter, and rose water.
It's supposed to repair damage, reduce frizz,
and make your hair silky soft.
Gonna use a little pump.
It definitely smells more coconut than I would say mango.
Lightweight, not too creamy.
But I feel like this is gonna be very moisturizing.
Slip feels good.
My hair was already detangled, but the slip does feel good.
And it is making my hair feel very soft.
It's also looking pretty shiny.
So this side, I'm going to do the leave-in
and the custard together.
Scrunch that in place.
Okay, so far so good.
I do like that it's also a heat-protectant
because I don't always use a heat-protectant
when I'm diffusing, and you should.
It is heat, so not just when you're doing a blowout.
But I should be better at that.
But if it's already in my leave-in,
it's gonna make me remember.
Now let's grab the Orisos Curls Curl Custard.
It's supposed to add curl definition,
reduce frizz, and lock in moisture.
So I usually don't expect any type of moisture from a gel,
but you can get more moisture from a custard
because it's gonna be more liquidy
and kinda like a, I would compare it to a souffle.
Ooh, look at the drip.
Here is the consistency.
Okay, I like it.
Oh yeah.
Custards are always very slippery,
and they instantly give you shine.
Think I'm gonna like this.
Now I'm gonna add some more of the custard to this side
so that we can see how moisturizing this product is
if we don't use a leave-in conditioner,
and how the hold is.
Because sometimes you get less hold
if you use a cream or leave-in first.
And you know me, I like some good hold.
And this should hold me over
until that strong hold gel comes out one day.
Yeah, the shine is crazy.
Put some on top, let's not forget the back.
So we're gonna see how this dries.
This is already feeling a little bit more maybe plump.
I might get bigger curls on this side,
but I might get more elongation on this side
if I had to guess.
I'm also expecting more hold on this side.
But I'm gonna let it dry, do a little diffusing,
and we'll come back and see the final results.
And I'm back, fully diffused.
What do we think?
I think my curls look beautiful.
They look very shiny, moisturized, defined.
But all of my predictions have been true.
If I'm being very meticulous,
I do notice a little bit more frizz on this side
than I do this side.
And that's really only because I'm an aggressive diffuser.
So that's why I like the strong hold,
so I can do a lot of flipping and manipulation,
and it still stays firm.
So because it's a little bit lighter
with the leave-in conditioner first,
making my curls a tad bit softer,
I would say softer on the leave-in side,
that's why I'm gonna get a little bit of frizz
because I'm touching my hair too much.
Where on the custard side, I have a little bit more hold,
so it lasts better while I'm diffusing.
But at this point, totally stop.
I think it does look great.
But for that extra shine and extra hold,
I probably would add a little bit more custard on top,
even while it's dry.
Let's go ahead and do that.
Just gonna grab off the lid,
because don't be wasteful.
And then I could just simply put a little top coating
on the curls that are gonna be most
with the elements of humidity,
and I don't know, rain, whatever you're going through,
wherever you live.
Let's put a little bit more on this side.
And this is just kind of to bring that hold back
after I went ham on diffusing.
Lay down these flyaways, just like so.
I just diffused it again,
and now I'm back in my final form.
I love it.
I think it looks really good.
I'm noticing a little bit more volume on this side,
which I also figured because when I use a leave-in,
it is more moisturized,
therefore I get kind of like bigger clumps of curls
when I use like a cream or a leave-in,
kind of happening over here,
where if I don't, it's more,
I don't want to say stringy,
but more separated,
therefore giving me more volume and often more elongation,
it kind of looks the same in length today.
But in conclusion, what side do I like better?
Well, I can definitely use this on its own
because it is moisturizing.
I like the volume, I definitely like the shine,
and I like the hold even on its own.
Now that I've tried the Curl Custard,
I really feel like this plus the Rizos Curls Hairspray
is going to be a bomb combo.
And maybe when that strong hold gel comes out,
if it's not strong enough,
I could see it pairing well with the custard
because of the moisture properties in here.
Plus that hold might just be amazing.
More experimenting to come.
But I would still use a leave-in
if you have very dry hair, you need some extra moisture,
if you're using a diffuser or you plan on using any heat,
it also doubles as a heat protectant.
But they're both giving shine and volume and definition.
So the leave-in conditioner is $20 and the custard is 22.
They're currently both available
on the Rizos Curls website.
These are only on the website right now,
but they will be coming to Ulta soon.
So which are you more excited about,
the heat protectant, leave-in conditioner,
or the curl custard?
