hi justice Spearman here with Lila Rose
pro-life activist and founder of live
action Lila I wanted to start by sharing
a little bit something personal about me
I was actually conceived through a brave
and my mom has always said that I am her
biggest blessing and her justice my name
that came out of such a horrific
experience and I'm just so grateful for
her strength and I'm so proud of her and
mom if you're watching I love you and
I'm so thankful for you I'm so proud of
you and that's so beautiful thank you
for sharing that
your mom's amazing and extremely
courageous so glad I get to be here with
you today
me too so I know you started your
organization at a very young age could
you tell me a little bit about your
journey that led you to do the work so
we started live action as a teenager
about 14 15 well 14 and I started
calling it live action before was
pro-life group and it was really a
realization that of what abortion was as
a young teen finding out that abortion
was this violent act against child and
the lies that have been told to women
and young girls and the death toll I
mean today now there's 60 million
abortion since it became legal in our
country so learning about that seeing it
as a human rights issue of our day I
thought I have to do something I didn't
really know what exactly but I thought
well let's start with education let's
start with doing presentations to other
students at the time I was in San Jose
California and I that was the that was
the onset and then later on it would
take on a national and I ain't you and
even a global presence the boldness is
such a young age it's amazing do you
have any stories or lessons that you
learned along the way that you could
share with young women yeah well
definitely I mean I'm learning things
every single day and you have to first
of all one of the big lessons I I'm
still learning is perseverance so when
you're fighting a fight where the media
is often against you
Hollywood is often against you you know
they're wearing the planned parent and
pin like the pro-abortion pin ultimately
even though Planned Parenthood claims to
speak for women they're really the
biggest abortion chain and so you have a
lot of powerful politicians
years of the Obama administration
unfortunately a lot of that was
pro-abortion policies here and globally
so all of that you have to when you're
in this movement even though it's not
the popular movement you have to realize
what am I fighting for I'm fighting for
life and the preciousness of life and
I'm fighting to expose this great
violence and that confidence and that
persevering and the truth will give
other people the courage to follow and
that's what we've seen in the probably
movement in the last several years is
more and more people are joining this
movement because they see that this is
the human rights issue of our day and
they see that if we can stand up for the
child in the room for the weakest then
we're doing all other causes a great
benefit I know there are so many women
they're receiving so many mixed messages
today about how it all Emin ISM about
what it means to be in control of their
own body and with that women's March
that just happened last weekend I'd love
to hear some of your thoughts or
comments that you had about that
yeah so the women's March I mean first
of all a lot of women are joining the
women's March for a lot of different
reasons so I think the organizers like
to paint them with a broad broad brush
and say well they're all here because
they hate the president or because they
are angry and they're on the very far
left of the political persuasion but the
reality is you can have concerns about
the president and I've had concerns I've
expressed them you can have concerns
about the president but you can still be
a strong pro-life advocate you can still
be a pro-life feminist and recognize
that women's rights and children's
rights are indivisible they're not
pitted against each other but they
should both be celebrated and lift it up
and that's the way to really promote
equality and so when you look at the
women's March a lot of people don't know
this but one of the founders of the
women's march was actually Planned
Parenthood the biggest abortion chamber
you know that and a lot of people so so
what I see happening with the room is
March unfortunately is groups like
Planned Parenthood and these extremely
far left extreme on abortion
organizations are taking real causes and
issues among women like the concerns
about sexual abuse or things that are
important and they're hijacking them to
actually try to build a coalition of
women around secretly they're trying to
get them to support their cause so plan
turn is gonna use
the data collected from the women's
March for their use for their
pro-abortion uses so I think women just
have to be wise to who the organizers
are what's their hidden agenda and we
can have concerns about you know
leadership in this country we can have
concerns about abuse we should have
those concerns but we shouldn't allow
them to be equated with these a lot of
folks running the women's March with
abortion with all of these many of them
far left agendas you are actually going
to be featured on a Praeger you video I
would love to of course yeah justice so
we are really I'm really excited to get
to do this with Prager you guys are
awesome and the whole idea here is kind
of along the lines of the women's March
we were just discussing there's a lot of
misc information out there it's it's
actually kind of insane how much
misinformation there is out there where
people are saying that they claim to
stand for one thing they're claiming to
stand for one thing but they really
stand for another and the worst culprit
of that in today it's politically today
and culturally and in the u.s. is
Planned Parenthood
they're so the prettier you video I'm
going to be doing exposes how even their
very name is a deception how this is a
group that's founded on supposedly
women's interests and protecting women
and women's health but that's a facade
that their health services are extremely
limited they even lie about what they
provide and that they're actually
politically the biggest abortion chain
in this country politically pushing
abortion and they are the biggest
abortion shame so they are so extreme
politically that they're against the
born alive infant protection act they
want to not protect infants who survive
a failed abortion attempt think about
that
plumpie really has lobbied against
protecting infants who survived failed
abortion attempts Planned Parenthood has
lobbied against legislation to ban sex
selective abortions that means abortions
targeting women or little girls in the
womb just because they're female Planned
Parenthood has been against that against
those bans so it's just exposing some
very basic facts about the group and
getting people every day folks who
aren't necessarily plugged into the
local conversation all the time just to
know the facts about Planned Parenthood
and about what they're really about
which is pushing abortion both in
practice and politically this video is
so necessary I'm very excited to be
teaching thank you so much for sitting
down with me and sharing a little bit
about your journey and your fight to
save lives and for you guys do not
forget to check out Lila roses new video
on Prager eucom this has been just a
