Laying TWICE the Hyperadobe Earthbags?

welcome back to day four of our daily videos 4 days in we've laid some earth bags but running out of jerk well here's what we're getting ready for i don't know if we told everybody about this but we are having a smash bags weekend coming up in a couple of days we've invited all previous workshop attendees back to the property some of them are camping here uh two full days of just laying hyperdubby bag bunch of people coming back to see Hayden because they came to the superdubby workshop and right we need more dirt but we have a problem yeah we have a lot of material here that like at the end of the day if we don't use it it just goes into this pile it's still usable though so we need to smash it up a little bit and get it in a position where we can actually use it also we have some huge chunks left remember when we pushed that whole section off our wall for the kitchen window i remember that i should put that video right here so you can go watch it cuz it's a really good one and then we have to break it up and sort of even it all out and we're trying to decide because we're going to have so many people here like 20 30 people 30 we need to like prep this area so we can figure out how to fit like four mixers around it and have it ready because we don't know when the dirt's getting delivered so before we lay our really just really talking over you aren't we do you want to just really start for the day or do you want to keep talking we just we don't know when the dirt's coming so we got to get this done before we do anything else see how quickly that's all I was trying to say that was so fast you want to just edit it to where it's just that sure okay let's get started do you want to start working i say we have at least one bag in us before we before we break i do one bag okay you up for one bag one more bag all right we're going over our first arched uh bottle rig niche so we're going to do one full layer over and then build up on either side and then go over the top so let's get started i want to take it personally nice all good o man it's so much more moldable we are definitely scraping the bottom of the pile this is our used material that we're putting one of these batches in with the new material in every mix but yeah we really need that next mix of dirt to come in hopefully they make it today or tomorrow otherwise we'll be doing a different project I think all right we did the first bag right over top so we've decided because of the height of this little hump here we are going to do individual bags so we're going to go from here to here and then from there to there and that'll get us to course 18 and then we'll just have one bag to lay right here to finish the whole bedroom area to 18 one day you're going to say to finish the whole house one day not today but one day Heat heat huh is that enough tamping on this side uh just do the sides today we're trying something different two work slots oh no so this morning we worked from like 9 to 11 and then lunch took a little break and now we're going to shoot for 3 to 5 and just see if that works and we're just we're just switching things up and trying different stuff i don't know about this i don't know it's a lot of like clean out this and put this away and so I noticed we left the water in our hoses which remember that can boil the hoses yeah and we also left mix in the mixer so this may not work out all right last wall right there will get us up to course 18 this whole corner of our bedroom and the inner courtyard the interlocking pieces and the outer wall the bedroom wall will all be interlocked at 18 courses which is good then we're going to keep moving this way but first this wall nobody know nobody nobody know nobody know i know all right how's it going hey guys you should come to the double dome workshop should definitely come it's going to be really good april 26th through May 10th six instructors we're doing Hyper Adobe Super Adobe two domes big fire pit awesome it's going to be really good this is a long video so we're going to let you get back to it enjoy see you there heat heat one two three oh my god is this high enough yeah that'll be good okay ready yep yes i was saying these attaching to this oh it's not doing anything what are you guys doing over here we don't know yet trying to get this out okay screws do we see any screws laying around here's one this is cool what are you doing babe well when I originally made this form and put it up there the supports under the arch were too far in mhm so if we were to lay bags up to it it would like go inside places it's not supposed to right it wouldn't be a nice clean arch yeah so I'm moving them fixing it okay thank you okay uhoh now our Dutch run out as a That's okay that's fine you can rotate you want to help draw some end of the work day i'm checking on the goats still no baby goats yet but it's very close heat heat heat heat heat heat heat
