Referee is Darren England from South Yorkshire,
who did that draw with Palace in South London before Christmas,
and took charge of Newcastle's home win over Worms in January.
Nick Greenhalgh, Aki El-Hawson, the assistants,
Tom Bramwell, the board official,
VAR is Craig Pawson.
And we're ready to go on BBC Radio Newcastle
and the Newcastle United website and app.
An unchanged team for the sixth match in a row,
the previous five have ended in victory,
victories that have made them cup winners
and propelled them into Champions League places.
Tonight if they avoid defeat they will move even higher,
they'll go up to third.
A quick start from Newcastle, Trippier for Murphy,
Mitchell slips, Murphy's cross, back post,
Joe Alinton couldn't get there, it's a corner off Munoz,
too high for Isak in the centre,
and Joe Alinton arriving round the back,
but they get a corner kick inside 25 seconds.
Forward to Ezer, dispossessed by Trippier,
now Bruno away from two in red and blue.
And on to Murphy, and away!
Jacob Murphy could take it on himself,
Barnes back post, and here's Isak!
Oh, what a save, big save by Henderson, centre of the goal.
Joe Alinton down to Bruno, edge of the penalty area,
Liv Romento can't control it.
Kim Arash plays the ball down the right side,
Murphy gets away, and he just pulls it square.
It's a real good hit as well, you know, it's a strong hand.
Look to the referee who says play on, Newcastle in possession anyway.
Tonali here, left side, just ahead of half-way,
drops it onto the right boot of Trippier,
what a pass, back to Murphy, first-time cross, Isak!
Oh, that would have been a glorious goal.
Alexander Isak's had two chances in the last couple of minutes,
one produced a big save low down from Henderson,
and there were the header after a lovely flowing move.
Just over the top, not sure if it clicked the top of the bar or the netting,
but that is close from Isak.
Should have scored.
It's a great ball in.
Bruno gets away, into the Palace half, lots of space,
and a forward ball towards Barnes that's cut out by Gaye.
Newcastle get it back in midfield,
Tonali, Trippier giving him an option wide right.
Kieran Trippier gets it, onto Murphy, the chance to deliver,
Murphy gives it...
Oh, Murphy!
Have scored!
It's like Tonali, and I'm not sure if he was going to cross or shoot,
just put his boot behind it.
And Henderson was beaten at his near post, high towards the top corner,
and Jacob Murphy's incredible run continues.
He moves on to nine goals this season,
and most importantly in the 14th minute, he gives Newcastle United the lead.
1-0 against Crystal Palace.
De Paes has just done the keeper, hasn't he?
Yet again.
Just spread it wide.
Trippier yet again gets on his bike.
He just absolutely leathers it.
The crowd have just seen it again on the big screen,
that was why there was a big roar.
Right-footed free kick dropped into the penalty area,
Pope comes to punch, didn't get there, and is out of his goal.
Dan Byrne heads away next to the post, Pope gets back on his line,
Joe Alinton with a clearance, and player down.
Chris Richards for Crystal Palace, potential head injury, so stops the match.
Warped VAR yet, taking a look for a possible penalty for Crystal Palace.
And whether Nick Pope has...
..done something that warrants a penalty kick.
Darren England says...
Penalty.
After all of that.
But Ezer puts his arms out towards the crossbar.
He conceded the penalty, Ezer about to take it for Crystal Palace.
He comes forwards, right-footed...
Pope saves!
Huge stop for Newcastle United,
who remain 1-0 in front.
Not too sure what you can say about that.
That was absolutely abysmal.
Barnes comes in off the left wing, now Trippier receives it.
Just to the right-hand side of the centre circle,
but close to the centre circle, up the line to Murphy,
back inside to Schär.
Isak's had two good chances tonight, one well saved, the other just over.
They'd love a second, Joe Alinton on to Livermanto,
they might get it here, Barnes with Isak in the middle,
Barnes's cross goes in!
Deflection beats Dean Henderson at the near post.
Harvey for United.
Penalty saved by Nick Pope moments ago, have gone on the attack.
Got themselves a second.
Matt Gahey.
Well, Gahey again, like he did at Selhurst Park in November.
Directs the ball into his own goal from a Newcastle cross.
And in the 38th minute, it's Newcastle United 2-0 Crystal Palace.
It wasn't on target from Barnes, so it will surely go down as an own goal,
but Barnes is definitely claiming it.
Crystal Palace's Colombian Daniel Munoz,
and then Livermanto regains possession.
Isak on the move, it's centre-forward, Bruno plays it into the path of Trippier.
Galloping forwards from full-back, Trippier closed down by Mitchell,
oh, into the area for the run of Bruno.
Bruno beats his man, squares it, Isak surely!
Blocked, Isak again!
Oh, my words, it just will not go in for Alexander Isak.
Well, they were flying in earlier in the season, weren't they?
He's had some gilt-edge chances tonight.
And he just hasn't been able to put the ball on the back of the net.
Great break again.
Trippier, he just keeps going, doesn't he?
He gets in so many advanced positions.
Richards with the block from Isak, then Joe Linton was there,
and got out of the way of Isak on the follow-up,
being given the second goal as an own goal.
They've lost it Palace to Tonali and Joe Linton,
Bruno's ball, Tonali, Barnes wants it,
Barnes gets it, left-hand side, Isak in the centre,
Barnes into the box, on the outside...
Barnes!
Scores!
And this one's definitely his.
Barnes, found by the ball, whipped over to the left,
could have rolled it over to Isak,
but a man in red-hot form in front of goal.
Has another.
So do Newcastle, they lead Crystal Palace by three goals.
Oh, it's brilliant, it's unbelievable.
Palace commit so many people forward,
Hughes then gives it away,
and they're just so stretched, and the pace at which we break,
and it's a great finish.
Said the one thing about Barnes, you feel he's got goals in him,
and that's a real good finish with his poorer left foot,
he just goes on the outside of the centre-back
and he just smacks it across Henderson into the far corner.
Brilliant.
Barnes on nine as well, joining Murphy, who scored the opener tonight,
Anthony Gordon's been on nine goals for a little while.
Not central, but not completely out wide.
Let's see what ball they select.
It's Trippier to Murphy, lovely curling cross!
Oh, yes, Fabian Scher!
What a first half.
Fabian Scher, Newcastle's fourth goal just before half-time.
A really clever set-piece.
Trippier, roll back to Murphy, but the cross from Murphy was irresistible,
and Scher just needed to give it a touch and he did,
and it's into the far corner.
And it's Newcastle United 4-0 Crystal Palace.
What a delivery.
It's an unbelievable ball.
Fabulous ball.
And it just needs the slightest touch because of the pace that's on the ball.
A lot of pace on it, and you just held the goal, Woods,
and it flies into the corner.
Lacroix, lost it to Joelinton, Isak Schorle!
Isak gets his goal.
Newcastle forcing an error from Palace,
just what they did to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
And it's now five, and Isak has 25 this season.
A frustrating night with missed opportunities,
but he hit the bottom corner from the edge of the area,
and it's Newcastle 5-0 Crystal Palace on 58 minutes.
Well, he had to get one tonight, didn't he?
I mean, I have to say...
It's the hardest chance of the ones that he's had tonight.
Yeah, I mean, Lacroix, not too sure what he's doing,
but it's a quality finish again, isn't it?
Joelinton just toe-pokes it away from him.
Great finish.
Menketi bringing it out wide right,
Gordon, and Willock pinch it back,
referee blows for full-time,
and confirms Newcastle United's 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
Third in the Premier League table.
Two, it's Clear and Forrest who go down to fourth and own Arsenal.
