Bonjour! Time is flying! It's already mid April and we have so many projects and we're just trying to take it all on one by one. In this video I am sharing a simple brunch or lunch recipe, I share my new brocante finds and I take you to one of my favorite brocante shops here in Burgundy. I hope you enjoy this one! Love, Marloes

Bonjour everyone if you're a regular
viewer of this channel you've probably
noticed these new plates i have many of
these similar but in blue and green and
this week I found these beautiful ones
in one of my favorite bant shops and the
owner Vironique said they were her mom's
so I said I have to get these if these
were your moms so that they stay in the
region and because I love them so much I
went to Veronique shop with our guest as
part of a brokant shopping day that we
did together which was really nice and I
always really love Veronique shop she
always has something new whenever I walk
in I'm a little overwhelmed and not
quite sure where to look but then when I
take my time I always find something
beautiful
that's uh my it has to be my concern but
this is so beautiful um no it
is I won't say overwhelming but it's
it's a lot it's just Yes you want to
look at everything
it looks like it's from that
restaurant i think it's from the
restaurant but this is
incredible i don't need
anything but this is too beautiful you
can't leave this here
it's this little card really touched my
heart it was written by a godfather to
his
godson and I don't know the message was
just so full of love it was written
sentundred years ago i just had to get
it
this part of our house is where the
farmer used to live and we lived here
when we just moved in and while we were
turning the stables into a cottage the
barn into our kitchen while we were
building the cabin we have such sweet
memories of this space but for now we
have stripped and demolished everything
and we are not going to touch anything
in here but we still have this beautiful
space and I thought I would turn it into
a little brokant shop for our guests
but you can see the total overwhelm on
my face i guess there is so much stored
in here one of the things that has been
sitting here for I think over a month
are these two boxes we got electric
bikes for our guests but I sold it this
way to Olaf i actually also got them for
us because we're Dutch and Dutch people
cycle everywhere we're used to doing
everything by bike but we are not used
to the hills that we have in Burgundy
cycling is very different here and we
never had electric bikes olaf hates
cycling and so he never wants to come
with me when I go cycling around the
beautiful area here so I kind of sold it
to him like "Oh that'd be good for our
guests." But I'm secretly hoping that
this will get him excited about doing a
couple of the beautiful cycling trails
that we have here in the area while we
were putting the first bike together we
had a lot of spectators tigret was
obviously very curious and then my
friend and her four kids came cycling by
and everybody was excited to see this
new bike and I think Tette was getting a
little bit confused where all of these
bikes were all of a sudden coming
from so this is Olaf's first ride on an
electric bike so we were all standing by
the side of the road to applaud him
and now it was my turn to try and I feel
a little awkward but I was honestly so
amazed the joy of having help going up a
hill
and Yeah nice yeah well when you're
Dutch you're so used to having to work
really hard because We we're used to
cycling but we're not used to having
hills and this is just a dream to
get your feet
yeah
mice oh no not mice
nice we'll be cycling the trail through
the vineyards very soon i'm hoping to do
a video on that as well and before that
I want to turn this space into a brokant
shop more on that in a next video see
you very soon
