David, the Brave Shepherd Boy | Bible Stories for Children | Young Nigerian Mom

Welcome to an exciting story of courage and faith. Today we'll learn about a young shepherd boy named David, who faced a mighty giant with God on his side. David was a young shepherd who loved and trusted God. He spent his days taking care of sheep, singing songs of praise and learning to be brave. One day, a powerful enemy, the Philistines, came to fight Israel. They had a secret weapon, a giant named Goliath. The Israelites were terrified. Who could defeat such a giant? Send one man to fight me. If he wins, we will serve you. But if I win, you will serve us. David was not afraid. He trusted that God would help him. Why is no one standing up to this giant? With God's help, I will fight him. King Saul was unsure, but he saw David's great faith and agreed to let him fight. I have fought lions and bears to protect my sheep. God kept me safe then, and he will help me now. David did not need armor or a sword. He took his slingshot and five smooth stones. He knew God was his strength. Am I a dog that you come to fight me with sticks? David took a stone, put it in his sling, and let it fly. The stone struck Goliath right in the forehead, and the giant fell to the ground. With God's help, David defeated Goliath. The Israelites rejoiced, for God had given them victory. David's story reminds us that no matter how big our problems seem, God is always bigger. Remember this promise from 1 Samuel 17, 47. The battle is the Lord's, and he will give you victory. Children, like David, you can be brave too. Trust in God, and he will help you face any challenge. No giant is too big for God. Thank you for joining David's incredible adventure. If you enjoyed this video, please like, subscribe, and share with your friends. And always remember, God is with you.
