Which one will be faster? - Powerslide Compare

Hi everybody, welcome to this new video. Today we will do a compare for marathon. Many people of many of you are preparing already maybe the Berlin Marathon or some other cool event from the World Skate Marathon Tour or the World Inline Cup or even the Swiss Skate Tour. So it's time to start training and we did previously a video about the different skate and different specs. Today we go directly on the field. I'm on my 5k lap, my favorite lap for training here in Toulouse and I will skate with different pair of skates. I will skate with the Air 6 Marathon. I will check the time. I will then skate with the Argon and 4 wheel skate with lower quality wheels. Then I will put some Axel standard 3x125 skate and coming with some classic wheels and then I will upgrade to my favorite TLTF wheels. So we will have basically four different tests. I will take the time for each session and we will be able to see what's the difference, what's the impact of time with the different material on this 5k lap. We will extrapolate on a 42k race to see how much you can win just by the material. So let's go. First test I go with the Air 6 Marathon. Let's go. 5k on the Air 6 Marathon. I try to find a good speed similar to the effort if I would be solo in a race. Let's go. Okay so 5k in 9 minutes and 35 seconds which is something like something like 31 and 31 point something kilometers. 31.8 I guess. I will calculate later but feels good. This Air 6 Marathon is nice. I am able to go more than 30 kilometers an hour average on this 5k. Probably able to maintain this for 42k without problem but I put myself kind of the limit. I start with this skate and now I will jump on my Haigon with four wheels, casted frame, smaller wheels. So quite different. More fitness skate. So let's go change the skate and compare this. So you see now I was on this Air 6 3 times over 25 Air 6 Marathon. Let's say it's still a soft boot style but it starts to be quite a good racing one especially with a frame with extrusion plus this infinity wheels. It's already a SI chair compound. It's already good and now I will jump on my Haigon. So basically a more soft fitness boot with a trinity system and I will use a frame which is 275 millimeter long with four times 90 millimeters and on this skate the wheels are also a little bit less quality. It's a Powerslide 1 which is a HA compound already lower quality than the SH air from the infinity. I'm ready. Let's go. Second challenge on the Haigon fitness skate. Let's go. Already totally different story. 12.46 for this one. So a lot slower. A bit of everything. A bit the shoes, a bit the frame and a bit the wheels. Maybe a lot the wheels here but for sure totally different effort. First I need to take a rest and finally put my nice Axelle race skate 3x125. It should be quite faster already. Okay time to switch. Thank you Haigon for this little ride but I think I will keep you for my fitness or Friday night skating. Now let's jump on this fast skate Axelle race 3x125 with the Axelle wheels. It's also dual density wheels 125. So let's see how much faster I can get compared to the Haigon and also compared to the Air 6 Marathon. Let's go with this Axelle skate. Let's check how I can difference. I start to feel also a bit tired but also I feel like by changing skate I take little time to adjust my technique but it's not the main point. Still faster on this one of course. Let's change the wheels now and see how much faster I can go on this TLTF wheels compared to this Axelle wheels. All right last one to go. Now I put my Swings on Wings TLTF 125 wheels. I keep my Axelle race reflective skate 3x125. Again five kilometers. Let's see how fast I can go. and the point is also it's faster but even if I try to maintain the intensity during the 5k when I finish I'm actually much more less tired after this one. Because it's running more I can save more energy. I can relax a lot more in my technique. So this little video is to show you how much difference can be if you look between the Argon and this setup with that wheels. We will do the math a little bit later but the difference is quite big.
