So this week Carrera here in Austria sent me an epic delivery and today we're going
to unbox one of those items and it is the ultimate NASCAR experience, the Hendrick Motorsport
Carrera Evolution set.
Let's check it out.
So here it is, the Hendrick Motorsport NASCAR Carrera Evolution set.
We have two cars here, car number 5 and car number 24 and we also got two controllers,
two speed modes and an epic track to take a look at.
So let's not waste any time and crack open the Carrera Evolution Hendrick Motorsport
set and see what we get inside.
So before we check out what's inside the NASCAR set, if you are liking this kind of content,
please consider subscribing, hit that bell icon and give it a thumbs up because it really
does help small channels like my own.
But now I think it's time we get on with the video.
So included in the set is seven standard straights, eight 160 radius curves, two plunger style
controllers, your starting base, of course power and some accessories.
So it's time we take a look at our first car, car number 24, Camaro Next Gen ZL1 Hendrick
Motorsport driven by Williams Byron.
This thing looks incredible.
It is an analog car which is non-digital.
This can be converted to a digital car, but take a look at some of the details on this.
And for our second NASCAR, it is car number five, Camaro Next Gen ZL1 Hendrick Motorsport
driven by Kyle Lawson.
This one also looks pretty epic.
Both cars included in the set are analog and can be converted to digital.
And I want to quickly jump in here and make a clarification.
The box that I was sent has an error on the front.
It says the cars have working lights.
They definitely don't.
I did speak to Carrera during the review because I did test to see if the lights were working
and they did inform me the future boxes or the boxes that should be current now won't
have the working lights function on it.
So a little bit of a mistake.
So if you are buying this, the cars don't have working lights.
Okay, let's get on with it.
So I think it's time we now go upstairs and set up the track that's included in the NASCAR
set.
And with a little bit of magic, the track is set up.
The track sets up neatly in my small lounge room and it has 5.3 meters of playing track
and it even has a flyover.
But now I think it's time we put the track to the test.
So it was time to plug in the controller and have some fun, but I was missing a car.
That slot car kid is back.
So with that slot car kid back, it was time to plug in player number two, line up the
cars and let's have some fun.
Three, two, one, go.
And that slot car kid and I couldn't have all the fun.
So that slot dog wanted to get in on the action.
So I gave into that slot car kid and let him finish off the race.
I do have to say this is a great set if you are wanting to get into slot cars.
If you do love NASCARs, this is a great starter set.
Before you jump up to the digital sets, stay tuned to the channel for some more reviews.
Take care, be safe, bye.
