Oh, guys, it's happening. We are back
for the last video before we leave for
Canab for the Double Dum workshop. Yeah.
And here's our goal. Okay. We've been
working on courses 16, 17, and 18 on the
entire house. And we are so close to
being up to 18 everywhere. So, that is
our goal before we leave. 18 all around.
Yep. First up is the hallway. You ready
to get started? We got to get this done.
Let's go. Let's do it.
Hey,
Hey.
Heat
Thank you. I keep getting stuff in my
eyes. They look ridiculous, but it
helps. Ridiculously cool. We made
I like it.
While we're finishing course 18 on the
roundhouse, we are also prepping for a
visit from our parents, as well as
packing for the double dome workshop in
Canav, Utah. One thing that's going to
make this trip a breeze is not having to
pack a big bulky plastic jug of laundry
detergent all the way to Utah. Thanks to
our video sponsor, Earth
Breeze, we made the switch to Earth
Breeze Eco Sheets, and we are so happy
with the plastic-free packaging and
clean ingredients that don't have any
unnecessary chemicals or brighteners.
Traditional laundry detergents are full
of harsh chemicals that aren't great for
your skin or your animal friends or this
place that we live. It's actually been
an easy switch now that we know that
Earth Breeze cleans just as well as the
detergent we were previously
using. We're headed to Canab Utah very
soon and I'm excited to have clean
clothes while camping and have enough
eco sheets to share with friends. If you
would like to try Earthbreeze Ego
Sheets, you can get 40% off with your
auto ship if you go to
earthbreeze.com/tinyshinyome. Now, we
got to get this laundry done so I can
get back to course 18 and then we can go
to
nap. Last done with the hallway. So, now
moving to the pantry wall. And then
we'll have to pause and let the first
layer dry before we do one more up to
18. Be a good time for lunch. But we're
going to knock this out real fast.
Okay. Come on.
Hey, we did it. We got done while we
wanted to. That's like I think a first.
Well, before lunch.
Yeah, I know. But like most of the time
we're like we're going to get this done
and this done and this done and then
we're like three bags short. But we
actually got it all done. So this has
17. Uhhuh. Hallway has all of 18, which
means what do we have left? So what
we'll need to do when we come back is
we'll run this one cuz this is at 17.
Run it to 18. Then we can connect to the
buttress, which is 18. And same over
there, 18 across the outer wall. And
then we'll probably come back and do
this 18 all the way across. And then we
have to do the whole outer big circle,
which is kind of a lot when I say it out
loud, but I think we might be able to do
All right, friends. Food has been eaten.
Breaks have been taken. We're still
fighting the wind. going to make it
happen. 18 is going to get done
today. I keep round cuz I don't like to
be alone. But now the sound sound of
your voice is starting to get
over. You're so committed.
Or am I
wicked for all my wondering
indispressions between the devil and the
deep blue sea? Got to empide what you
mean to me. Should I keep your set you
free? Dr.
You should have known known known that I
could never be devoted cuz I'm a thorn
thorn thorn in your perfect bed of
roses for your thoughts.
But I cannot be changed.
No. The devil in the deep blue sea. I
got to decide what you mean to me.
Should I keep your set your free
will? Drop
your Oh my gosh.
Hey, remember when we said we were going
to do it all today? I'm all tamped out.
That's it for the day. Yeah. So,
tomorrow because maybe not tomorrow. The
magic of YouTube. Oh, you're going to
get two days in the last day because
we're going to finish this. We're going
to go all the way down here. So, it's
like what? 80 ft a bag. A lot. 80 ft. I
think we can do that in one day. Okay.
We did like 150 today. We laid so much
bag. We did a watch. We did. Have fun.
Thanks everybody. Thanks guys.
Future John and Hayden here. If you're
watching this video right now, guess
what? The canab has already started. The
biggest earthag party. Two super adobe
domes connected by a hallway. Super a
hyper adobe fire pit and bench built by
these guys. And plastering natural
plastering in and out. Second week April
26th through May 10th. But you already
know that because you're watching this
right now. So, and we're already there.
Good news is if you didn't sign up yet,
you can still come. You don't have to
come one week or both weeks or part of
the week. You can just pick whatever
days you want. So, get in your car and
drive down a canab and join us. Come
hang out. It's really great. It's
already great. It's happening and we
feel great about it in the future.
Everything is starting to green up
around here and it is looking so
beautiful. Guys, guess what? Today is
going to be the day that we finish
course 18. I know we got a little
excited and overzealous about
yesterday, but it's happening. Today is
it is happening today.
And then we're going to go have fun for
the rest of the
day. H. Oh, wait. There's stuff all over
the screen. Hold on. The camera
lens. All right, friends. As promised,
course 18 is going to get done. Even if
it takes us an extra day, and it's
technically one more day on the
countdown, it doesn't matter. You're
going to get to see it done. So, last
big outside wall all the way down. We
got to do that this morning. Then we
have two tiny crossover bags and then
we're done. So, let's get
started. Just go slow. One,
two. You can do it in these sections,
too.
There you
go. Little bit forward. Just a hair.
Yeah. Forward. One. Two. There. Right
there. Let's do it.
Yeah. Heat.
for me.
Oh, did I move this back? It's fine.
Don't touch it.
Y.
Oh my god. Oh, I can
run. Super fast.
Heat. Heat.
We're about an hour and a half in. We
have done 18 here and right there and
all the way across and right here. And
we're almost halfway. Yes. And then
we're going to finish it. So, just give
us a little bit longer. We'll get there.
We only have four more bags to finish
course 18. I can't even believe we're
saying that, but it's happening. We are
finishing 18.
I want to
wonder out of the
valley where the river takes far away
from home.
Time to
ponder in the fields around
me where there's nothing but the breeze
and the gray
unknown. Leave your
worries and
just all you don't need nothing but
you. Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.
One more bag. One more bag. One more
bag.
Nobody else. Oh man.
Is that happening? Is it time? It's
happening. It's time. The last one.
18 is now
about to be laid. About to go get laid.
Let's get laid. Let me down. Let me
down. Oh my gosh.
Nice. Oh my gosh. A perfect fit.
Caterpillar.
Good job, guys.
Yay. Jab it. Hold
on. Tab it immediately.
That looks so good. Good job. Nice. Well
done. So good.
And just like that, course 18 is
finished. And
unfortunately, our adventure is done
here on the tiny shiny homestead. Just
the one on the tiny shiny homestead,
though. Well, sure. But guys, thank you
so much. Like, oh my gosh. I can't
across the world just to smash bags.
Thank you guys. This has been, you know,
it's been round two for me, which has
been really great. And I just feel like
I just feel so much more established. I
feel so much more um here with you guys.
And I just am so grateful to be working
here with my two heroes, you know? Like
it really is absolutely amazing. And we
finally got to meet Millie in person. Oh
my god, it has been so great to finally
build earth bags with you and spend this
time with you. Like, it's been amazing.
Thank you both so much. It has been
smashing smashing bags with you guys. It
has been seriously so pleasurable. You
guys have made this experience really
really special and yeah really beautiful
one and I am yeah I am so grateful and I
can't even thank you guys enough for
absolutely everything that you've done
for me and for us and it's just been
yeah something I'll never ever forget
and the bags like I've learned so much
here and um yeah I'm never ever going to
forget what you guys have taught me and
all the beautiful gifts that you guys
have given. So yeah, I really can't
thank you both enough for this epic
adventure. Are we going to hug? Is that
what we're doing? That would be for you.
Thank you guys so much. Thank you. And I
mean thankfully this isn't like the last
adventure. Not at all cuz we're going to
Canad. It's just the first half of the
whole we're going to have a whole other
adventure. But yeah, it is kind of
bittersweet like wrapping up this time
here in the for sure.
It does feel a bit good to be able to
leave this project unlike the first time
we built it. You know, we were there
till the end. So, it's it's nice to
handle it to you guys. You're going to
do so well, you know, and like I've
said, I'd love to come back for some
plastering or something like that. And
yeah, I think we owe you a visit, too.
Coming soon. Coming soon. So, uh that
brings us to the end of our daily
videos, friends. Thank you so much for
hanging out with us, going on all these
adventures with us, and let's get ready
for a new one.
Thank you.
Yeah, I can see this.
Tomorrow I only
know how I'm in the road and I'm high.
So
there
goes tomorrow only we
know how
the high. So let's jump.
I want to in
the let's
jump in the
