CHAMPIONS! Plymouth Argyle 1-2 Leeds United | Manor Solomon scores dramatic late winner!

The 46th and final game of what has been a fabulous season for Leeds United, and there's still one job to do, win this game and win the league. Leeds fans have travelled in huge numbers to celebrate if that's the case. Now Bogle down the right for Leeds United, puts the ball in low, comes for Aaronson, just gets it caught under his feet a little bit there, great ball in from Jadon Bogle. Mumba picks it up for Plymouth down there, left-hand side. Ball is just outside the penalty area, still in the penalty area. Tanaka goes in but can't make the block, and the shot is wide from a really promising position, and Bundu battled his way through. Hazard straight to Aaronson, manages to direct it to Gruev, but his pass is cut out by Edwards. And then the ball over the top leads our court in that position as Bundu attacks the area. Again coming inside, the challenge is... And rolls it across, and it's in! Off the back post, hits Sam Byram, and into the back of the net it goes. And Leeds United find themselves behind here at home part, and it's Sam Byram on goal. Tanaka. Through the middle out, Tanaka. And then into the feet of Peru. Controls and plays it into the area to Byram, Byram across the middle, oh, it's gone past everybody. Bogle arriving, Nonto arriving, and neither could make the contact. Nonto on the ball, just outside the penalty area. Short ball to Aaronson, shoots goalwards, Hazard two-handed, palms that one away. Solomon edges up to the edge of the area. Still with the ball, taking on two men, puts it in low and hard to the near post... NONTO! From close range, great approach play down the left by Manes Solomon. Nonto waiting in the middle, and he finishes to bring the title in sight again. It's 1-1 here. Ruev does really well for Leeds. Now Solomon through the middle, now Nonto's in space, Bogle lets it run to Nonto, and Nonto's offside. And Peru, when he tucks it in, will look across and see that the flag is already raised. And the goal will not count. No, he's on. Leeds come with Solomon, into the penalty area, Manes Solomon... Solomon! Leeds United are in front here! And the scenes, the scenes are just superb. Manes Solomon emerges, and Leeds have the goal, and Leeds are in front, and Leeds are on top. And the title beckons. Plymouth 1-2 Leeds United. And the noise is going higher and higher, away to our right-hand side, and all around Plymouth I suspect as well. And the whistle goes to the mouth, Leeds United are champions! Leeds United have done it, in the most dramatic circumstances, with the latest goal, a moment of magic from Manes Solomon, and Leeds claw their way back to the top. And as a result, it's Leeds United who are EFL Championship winners 2024-25. What a day it's been, what a season it's been. A group of heroes. They've done it, they've come through once more.
