What does it mean to be an emotional code practitioner?
Somebody might come to me and say, I feel stuck in relationships.
But what we do is we literally find out why.
Like, why is the body holding on to this thing?
Frank Alaridi, a four-time Emmy-winning journalist,
known for his work with ABC Network and Good Morning America.
And Frank has now transitioned into being a biohacking and wellness expert.
I always tell everyone, like we'll do with somebody in the audience,
don't tell me anything before we get started.
Say, well, what happened at age 30?
And they'll be like, oh, my God, 30 is when I got divorced.
And I don't know anything about these people.
And I literally see like miraculous testimonials every day.
Is there anything practical that you can help us do right this moment?
Well, hello, everybody.
Today, I'm with Frank Alaridi, a four-time Grammy.
A Grammy.
I look like a singer right now.
We look like singers.
We manifested it.
You're going to win Grammys.
Let's do it again.
I'm with Frank Alaridi, a four-time Emmy-winning journalist,
known for his work with ABC Network and Good Morning America.
And Frank has now transitioned into being
a biohacking and wellness expert and being a certified energy worker.
Frank has been speaking around the world at different holistic workshops
as an emotional code practitioner.
And I'm so glad to have you with us today, Frank.
Thank you so much for being here.
Thank you.
What does it mean to be an emotional code practitioner?
So, you know, it's interesting.
I started out in something called Emotion Code from Dr. Bradley Nelson, right?
But it's gone so beyond that in the last few years
where I've noticed changes happening within me, within my sessions.
But what Emotion Code is, is really incredible.
We'll actually do it with somebody in the audience soon.
Can you guys hear me?
Is this okay?
Okay, perfect.
And what we're doing is looking for blocks in people.
So somebody might come to me and say,
I feel stuck in this area of the life, in relationships, or I just had a breakup.
Maybe they have a difficult relationship with their boss at work.
Or sometimes it's a physical manifestation of something they're dealing with
where they need surgery.
We'll do a few sessions, sometimes even just one.
And whatever that is, the physical ailment, the relationship blocks just go away.
And I literally see like miraculous testimonials every day.
But what we do is we literally find out why.
Like, why is the body holding on to this thing?
So somebody might say that, you know, they can't attract the relationship.
And I'll say, well, what happened at age 30?
You have a courting with somebody, you feel vulnerable,
and you created an allergy to the idea of marriage.
And they'll be like, oh my God, 30s when I got divorced.
And I don't know anything about these people.
I always tell everyone, like, we'll do it with somebody in the audience.
Don't tell me anything before we get started.
And then we'll use magnets just like this and completely clear it from the person.
So what I do, because most of my clients are on Zoom,
is I'm clearing it from me for them.
Oh, wow.
Right?
Because we're all just one collective.
So if it exists in you, it's somewhere in me too.
So when I clear it from me, I'm clearing it from all of us.
So all physical and emotional blocks,
do they all come from a negative belief that we secretly hold in our subconscious?
Beliefs, emotions, inherited things from our ancestors.
So sometimes I'll say you have defensiveness that you inherited from your mom,
or you have betrayal that you inherited from your dad.
Or I can say it goes back seven generations.
But when I clear it from you, that's the beautiful thing.
People get emotional because I'm clearing it from that entire ancestry.
So it's clear from everybody.
So the same way that we inherit our genes from our ancestors,
we inherit our traumas from them.
And we also inherit our karmas from them.
I'm glad you said that.
Karma, trauma, and genetics.
Which is why also, by the way, like, aside from just the work I do,
it's why Kriya Yoga and things like that are so powerful.
Or ayahuasca, anything like that.
Because you're going into the subconscious, not just for you,
but to clear the vessel of anything that it's bringing back from other generations.
How do you, what is a practical way that you can help someone decode their emotions?
Can we actually showcase something on one of the audience members?
Does anybody want to come on the stage?
Okay, first hand I saw.
Let's give her a hand.
Sometimes we need tissues on the stage.
But I don't know.
I don't look like, you don't look like you're a crier.
What's your name first?
Does she need to say it?
No, she can do whatever you're comfortable with.
Aisha.
Oh, here.
Actually, that's perfect.
It's not on.
Hi, everyone.
Yeah.
Hi, nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you.
Thank you.
What is your, what is your intention that you want to clear around?
My intention, I don't know what I'm holding.
I, I feel I'm not holding anything, but I still feel like there would be something which
energetically you might be able to sense more.
So I give it in your hands.
Okay.
All right.
So there's no specific intention.
What I'm going to do is ask her subconscious.
What are the three biggest things that Aisha needs cleared from her life?
And we'll, we'll just ask your subconscious.
It'll take us and we'll clear those.
Okay.
So I've already, while you were just, while you were speaking, I had already set the intention,
which by the way, I also want to say,
we talked about how the work is also evolving a little bit.
There is a subtle frequency from the divine mother that's coming through the vessel that
is neat to everybody in the audience.
So even if you're not up there now, you are receiving a healing frequency in some way,
whatever it is that you need.
I did a TED talk a month ago in the Philippines and you know, there's a lot that you can't say
because everything has to be backed by science.
I can't talk about karma and past lives and things like that.
So I asked divine mother to send a healing frequency or, you know, divinity to send a
healing frequency that can be delivered underneath what I can't say.
So that's all happening now too.
And now for Aisha, can I clear the biggest three things?
Okay.
The first thing is energetic.
It's post-traumatic.
It's offensive.
It's a curse.
It's an entity.
It's a courting.
How old are you?
Uh, give me here.
Just whisper it to me.
I need to know.
Okay.
Do we need to know more?
Can I clear this?
The reason we needed to know is because your subconscious is saying that there's an energetic
cord that you created with somebody like a codependency when you were 26.
Does anyone come to mind?
It's usually with like a year that somebody would have gotten married or at 23.
Okay.
I'll ask if this is with your, is this with husband?
Do we need to know more?
It was with your husband.
So maybe three years down the line, there was some kind of a codependency that got created
that wanted to be cleared.
Is there more here?
It's energetic, circular system.
Okay.
Disconnection system.
Okay.
There's something going on in the body.
Integratory system, circulatory system, urinary system, digestive system, skeletal system,
endocrine system.
System.
It's in your nervous system.
Is it in the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system?
System.
Okay, good.
Sympathetic nervous system.
It's in your parasympathetic nervous system.
I'm going to find out why the associated balance is energetic.
Circular system.
We're not going to go too deep because now this is going to get really deep.
It's taking me to your nervous system and there's telling me that there's several things
that are causing it.
So within the nervous system, there's several things causing it.
I'll clear a couple of them.
The first thing is, is a disconnection.
It's an organ system.
It's a gland.
Neogland, brain gland.
It's something in the brain.
Hypothalamus, pituitary gland, pineal gland, amygdala.
It's in your amygdala.
So the amygdala is the fight or flight part of the brain.
Yeah, amygdala.
There's an imbalance in that gland that's causing the imbalance in your parasympathetic
nervous system.
So let me find out why the amygdala is misaligned.
The associated balance is energetic.
Circular system.
Misalignment.
Okay, system misalignment.
Common misalignment.
Chakra misalignments.
Crown chakra, brow chakra, throat chakra, heart chakra.
It's because...
Okay, so this is what I'm saying where it gets sometimes so layered.
Way more layered than I like to do on stage, but we're going to keep going.
The heart chakra is also misaligned.
Your heart chakra is misaligned, causing the amygdala to be misaligned, causing the sympathetic
nervous system to be misaligned.
So we're just going to clear the one biggest thing that's misaligning your heart chakra,
okay?
Because this would be like a 15 minute just to clear the heart.
Can I clear the biggest thing affecting the heart chakra?
The associated balance is energetic.
It's the most traumatic.
It's offensive.
It's mental.
It's a will to.
It's no will to.
Okay, I'll tell you exactly what.
This is the biggest thing that the heart chakra is carrying on.
I need to know more.
No will.
There's no desire to trust others.
From before the age of 10, for the age of 20, for the age of 15, 15, 16.
It's telling you we need to know more.
I don't know if anything comes to mind.
It's from the age of 18.
Something happened at 18 where something was created.
No will to trust others.
Anything come to mind?
It's family related.
Not parents.
I know it's vulnerable being on stage,
but it wants me to know what it is before I can clear it.
I can't remember at 18 something.
My experience, which I can't remember at the moment,
the experience which ended up making me lose interest.
It's not in the family.
It's family, but it's not parents.
Siblings.
Not exactly.
You have siblings though, yeah?
Yeah, it's related to that.
It lets me clear it knowing that it's your siblings.
Okay.
Did we clear that?
All right, good.
Sorry, go ahead, Meg.
Timing wise, what do you think?
No, no, no.
I want her to sit.
No, no, no.
It's fine.
Totally fine.
I'm okay in that space.
Let's do one more then.
I'll just do one quick thing.
What else is in the heart chakra?
Energetic.
Post-traumatic.
Offensive.
Mental.
It's a will to.
It's no will to.
Okay, good.
One more.
It's another thing where there's no will to do something.
We don't need to get an age, but there's no will to change and to transform,
which always sounds counterintuitive when I'm working with certain people
because they're like, I'm at a Mindvalley event.
Of course I want to change and transform.
I'll have people who come to me who are like, I want to be married.
And I start doing a session for them and there's no will to be married.
There's an allergy to becoming like my parents.
So there's these subconscious things,
but there's something in there where there's no will to change, to transform.
That's hard to believe.
I know, I know.
Trust me, this is going to make that even better
because there's a lot of positive things I'm not looking for.
I'm only looking for the negative.
So when I clear the negative and it's subconscious,
the more positive things come through.
So you'll notice I was a TV journalist.
I was on TV.
I was doing YouTube, all these things.
When I first did a session, I had so much nervousness come up
and I was like, no, that's not true.
I don't have nervousness.
I'm on TV.
And I only realized it was there when it wasn't there, when they cleared it.
You know what I'm saying?
I almost didn't even realize I had anxiousness until I didn't anymore.
So round of applause.
Thank you.
Wow.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for being vulnerable.
Yeah, of course.
Appreciate it.
I would love to give an example.
I don't know why when I was talking to her, I thought of it.
There was somebody, I was at a retreat in Costa Rica teaching
and somebody from the audience came up.
She was a nurse, age 42 from California.
And she's like, I want to work on restless leg syndrome.
Her legs go like this, right?
And they never stop since she was 19.
And I just was like, hey, look, that's something that might need an hour,
but we have three minutes.
I'll do it really quick.
And like no promises, right?
What came up was only like four things and we were done.
And she messaged me saying that it had never come back again.
It was fully gone in a five minute session.
But what made me think of that right now with Aisha is because everything I told her on stage,
she was like, that doesn't resonate.
I don't know.
I don't know what that is.
I was like, you have a severe physical trauma.
Like a shock to the system from age 19.
And she was like, nothing happened.
And I was like, OK, well, you know, good luck, right?
She left.
And then it's been like two years now.
It's never come back.
But then when you detect something in somebody's like body,
like an energy blockage and they're not conscious about it, how can you heal it?
They don't have to be.
I'm speaking directly to their subconscious.
So they're not going to be conscious of it.
There's a book.
I don't know.
Maybe somebody here has heard of it.
I've never read it.
I've never heard of it.
But a lot of clients tell me about it.
It's called The Body Keeps the Score.
And it's all about how you might not be right.
You might not be conscious of it, but your body is conscious.
Your body remembers.
So that's why it was in your nervous system.
You know what I mean?
It's there.
It's holding on to something that you might not be consciously aware of.
So speaking of our nervous system and feeling nervous,
can you share some tips with us to help us calm our nervousness?
Yeah.
There's a really big thing that I like to do.
So if you're ever having a negative thought, right?
And you're conscious of it.
Oh, I'm jumping to conclusions right now.
I'm mind reading.
Mind reading is when we assume something is going to go wrong, right?
Like, oh my God, I'm doing this interview with the podcast with Megan.
And you're already fortune telling that it's going to go wrong.
When you catch yourself doing that, the best thing to do is first
be aware of the thought.
Notice you're doing it and then write it down.
When you write it down, you're engaging a different part of your brain
and it helps you evaluate it more effectively.
And then the third step is the final step.
And you want to evaluate it.
You want to come up with evidence for and against it.
So let's say somebody gets laid off from a position and your mind is saying
you are a total failure.
You are unemployable.
Like it's just, it's getting down on you.
Look at the evidence.
You have a degree.
Maybe you have qualifications.
You've held other steady jobs in the past.
So yeah, this can be disappointing, but it doesn't suddenly make you incompetent.
And then it softens the blow.
So you can start seeing it as a setback and not the end of your story.
So rather than going down this downward spiral, you're writing it down.
You're looking at the evidence.
Is this really true?
What my brain is telling me.
So that's what you can do on a conscious level.
And then the subconscious work is going to an energy healer,
working with plant medicine, right?
Meditation, things like that.
Is there anything we could practically, anything practical that you can help us do right this moment?
Yeah, let's do it.
You guys want to do a little like visualization?
Okay.
So if you're comfortable, everybody just bring your gaze down to the floor or close your eyes.
And I'll walk you through this.
This will be really good to identify some of those patterns.
And then to affirm something new.
So this is like Muhammad Ali saying, he said, everybody remembers.
He said, I am the greatest.
But he also said, I said that before I knew that I was.
So right now we're going to affirm something that we want to do.
Okay.
So bring your gaze down and just say to yourself in your mind, say, I am aware of my feet.
And notice how your awareness goes to your feet.
I am aware of my hands.
I am aware of my breath.
And you don't have to control the breath, but just notice how your awareness goes to your breath.
And then now say, I am, and your full name.
So I would say, I am Frank Eloridi.
I am Megan Pormer.
Just say your name.
And think of all the associations that come with that name.
All the responsibilities, all the roles that you play and have played throughout your life.
Think of all of that.
And now take the name out of it.
Just I am.
Without the roles.
Without the idea.
Without the personality that was created in this life.
Just I am.
So hum.
I am.
You can even breathe in so and exhale hum.
And from this state, just affirm something that you want to affirm.
I am enough.
I am capable.
I am worthy of love.
Whatever it is.
I am comfortable in my body.
I express myself easily.
And then now taking a deep breath to anchor this in.
Deep breath.
Hold it at the top.
Powerfully exhale it out.
One more.
Breathe in.
This time hold it and I want you to tighten everything in your body.
Tighten your fists.
Tighten your sitting muscles.
Tighten like really tense.
And then powerfully exhale it out.
One more.
Breathe in.
Tighten everything.
Tighten it.
Build tension.
And then exhale it out.
Just take a second here.
And only when you're comfortable you can open your eyes.
Yeah.
Just a quick little reset.
Yeah.
How's that feel?
Good.
Nice.
Amazing.
Did you do it?
Yes.
Wow.
I feel like a lot of muscle tension and mental tension were just released.
Out of my body and out of my mind.
Like the last part.
So the reason why we're saying like I am to be consciously aware of all the personality,
all the responsibilities that we put on ourselves and then to release that and just say I am without
the name.
So for example, if I used to get really nervous if I would talk on stage or at a podcast and
it was because I thought I needed to be great, I need to show everybody how great, right?
And then I came to the conclusion, not just me.
Nobody is great.
People are only perceived to be great when divinity is flowing through.
Divinity is great.
Divinity is amazing.
And so when I can just be like backstage and say divine mother, creator, whoever.
Let your greatness shine through me.
Let somebody even get just a sliver of how great you are when I speak.
That's it.
I'm not great.
And then it takes all the pressure out.
I don't have to be perfect.
I don't have to be amazing.
I don't have to be anything because divinity is that.
And I just need to be the vessel for that.
Wow.
Give it up to Frank Alaridi for truly being the ray of sunshine.
Not just a sliver, but a big emanation of the divine and for radiating your energy on all.
Thank you.
Thank you, Meg.
Thank you.
I appreciate it so much.
Thank you.
