Throughout 2023, I spent $400,000
building this luxury Airbnb cabin in the woods
here in the Catskills Mountains in upstate New York.
Let's check it out.
As we come inside, the door opens to this beautiful room
where you have an amazing kitchen
with beautiful granite countertops
and pendant lights hanging over the island.
We have a foosball table, a wood-burning stove,
a 55-inch TV, hardwood floors throughout,
and a beautiful dining table over here
with vintage skis and snowshoes
that I picked up from various antiques sellers.
Now, you may be wondering,
how much do we charge per night for this property?
Well, that is very simple.
On weeknights in the summer, we charge $295,
and on weekends, we charge $395,
so basically $300 or $400,
depending on whether it's a weeknight or a weekend.
And look, you've got that beautiful four-pane window
with a massive view of the forest outside.
Now, you may also be wondering,
how much did we earn in the first year of operations,
which ran from February 2024
until the end of January 2025, okay?
We missed January 2024, launching in February,
but for that 12-month period, we earned $68,000.
I'll put another video
where I break down the entire financials of the whole thing
so you can see what was profit, what was expenses.
Obviously, we do have a mortgage on this property,
so be sure to subscribe to the channel
and look out for that video.
