Mao SHIMADA | Exhibition Gala | ISU World Team Trophy | Tokyo 2025
16 years of age. She's the three-time world junior champion.
Been unbeaten in the junior competition for the last couple of years.
Just watch her. She is something else.
This is Mao Shimada.
Just 16 years of age. Mao Shimada.
At the tender age of 16, she's already performed quadruple toe loop and triple axel in competition.
She was given her name Mao in honor of the three-time world champion Mao Asada.
Just remember the name because we will be seeing a lot more of her.
That's for sure.
Winner of the Grand Prix final this year as a junior.
Just you wait until she's up against the seniors.
What a prospect.
