Alysa LIU (USA) | Women Short Program | ISU World Championships | Boston 2025

A fantastic reception. I can hardly believe that she's still only 19 years of age. The incomparable Alyssa Loo for the USA. And the reaction of the crowd is just perfect. And you can see what it means to Alyssa. Another brilliant, brilliant performance. And she held the audience in her hands. It was phenomenal. She is magic. Yeah. And that program is magic. Massimo Scali. It's genius. It's so expertly choreographed. It allows her. It allows her to be heard. That's right. She just exudes joy when she skates. Her team must be having the time of their lives on this journey. And it is a journey. Can't wait to see where it all ends. Let's take a look at this combination. Triple flip. Triple toe loop. She's been working hard on that since Four Continents. Looked close, didn't it? It's okay. Does this get her out? Oh, I almost said that. That should have been a call. She might have gone away with one there. And triple lutz here. I've got to say, I do love her. But I do think she may have gone away slightly there with that combination. It's going to be a huge score. She's going to go into the lead. How long will she be leading? And how huge will the score be? It's a massive 74.58. That is a new personal best score for Alyssa Liu. That will take some beating, I can tell you. It's huge. Wow. Welcome back to competition, Alyssa Liu. We're so happy you're back. Fantastic scenes.
