so today I'm going to be talking you
through a nice little shoulder finisher
again so if you watch the video doing
the lateral razes on the cable station
I'm going to be doing some dumbbell
laterals but we're going to be starting
with some partial reps and then moving
into full range now why would you do
partial reps on this movement simply
because I'm never going to be able to
lift this amount of weight for a full
rep but I'm going to be challenging the
lateral delt head from this part of the
movement so the first essentially the
initiation of the rep as I get stronger
and stronger in this particular movement
I'm potentially going to be able to lift
heavier cuz I'm going to be able to
burst through that first point you see
I'm I'm about there nearly get about
halfway but we're looking to do 10 to 12
reps on the partials drop the weight
down aim for around 15 reps so going to
start here 10 reps nice
[Music]
control
so I got 12 next time I do this I should
go to 22.5 or 25 so now I'm going to
scale the weight back I'm going to go
drastically lighter now to 7.5 and I'm
going to aim to get 15 reps again really
nice control but this time we're going
through a full range of
[Music]
motion
[Music]
if you find that you're just spamming
lateral raises and you're not really
getting a good connection you don't feel
like you're progressing that movement I
urge you to give this a try pre-exhaust
the lateral dealt with the partial reps
and then go into full range of motion
and absolutely blast them thank you very
much if you made it this far and you
watch this video remember like subscribe
and I'll see you on the next
one
