We'll learn all of my beloved students.
This is the new series of pronunciation guide for beginners
by Langmaster Learning System and me, Liesl.
In this episode, we'll learn the second pair of sounds e and a.
Are you ready?
This is Langmaster Learning System.
Let's go.
Today, we'll start with the e sound.
To make the sound correctly, please follow these three steps.
Step one, open your mouth naturally.
Step two, your tongue is not as high as in the e long sound, but a little lower.
Step three, make the sound e with the lips staying still.
This is a short sound, so you need to pronounce it in less than a second.
Your e sound should be short, strong, and firm.
Now, watch my mouth carefully and listen to how I pronounce the sound.
Then, try your best to mimic it.
Next, we study the a sound.
To make the sound correctly, please follow these three steps.
Step one, open your mouth wide.
Step two, put your tongue down in the lowest place it can go.
The tip of the tongue should slightly touch the bottom of the front teeth.
Step three, make the a sound in less than a second while the lips stay still.
Look at my mouth carefully and listen to how I pronounce the sound again.
We're going to practice some word pairs to see how different the e and a sounds are.
Alright, let's do some more practice of each of these sounds.
Listen carefully and repeat after me.
